Anthony’s leg bounced as he sat at the booth alone. His date was supposed to be there an hour ago- and now… He was sure he was being stood up.
Fuck-
He looked at his phone for the fifth time that minute.
Still nothing.
Yep.
He was being stood up.
It probably wouldn't have been as bad if Tenn was here. But, the kid opted to stay home, giving Anthony space for once. Even though joining this stupid dating site was his idea. Anthony looked at his phone again. He wanted to cry.
Did he do something wrong? He didn't understand…
He should have never done this.
He had even worn a beautiful black button up with embroidered flowers and black dress pants… His hair was even in a nice bun.
Fuck- why did he even bother?
He picked up his phone and quickly opened his message app, staring at one contact.
Peter Parker
… What was he doing?
Wasn't this supposed to help him get over the cute… wonderful boy he left alone… in... New York.
At the time the dating site seemed like a great idea- but being stood up like this-
Fuck.
He just wanted to talk to Peter… Just once.
He started to type.

“Hey! I couldn't help but notice you've been here alone for over an hour- Are you okay?"
Anthony jumped- turning off his phone quickly. He looked up.
A young man- Black hair to his shoulders- sideburns- Brown eyes, was staring down at Anthony-
"Oh- uh... To be honest with you, pretty sure my date stood me up."
The man frowned.
"A pretty person like you? That's their loss! I'm Joshua Mulligan, you are?"
He sat down across from Anthony- sticking out his hand.
Anthony shook it gently- blushing lightly.
"Anthony Augusta," he smiled.
"Have you ordered any food yet? Or at least a drink?"
Anthony blinked.
God he hasn't ordered anything.
"Uh- i just realized i haven't..."
He fumbled around with the menu and laughed nervously.
"Well- let's not let this night go to waste huh?" Joshua got up, chuckling softly.
"I'll go get us some drinks. Go on and pick whatever you want. It's on me."
Anthony's eyes widened slightly. "No- I couldn't let you do that-"
"Repay me with your number?"
Anthony was caught off guard. "Oh- O-okay-"
He didn't actually think about what he had just agreed to.
As Joshua left to go get the drinks, Anthony stared down at the menu.
Quickly, he grabbed his phone, unlocking it.

'Peter'
Shut up about it.-
He stared at the-
‘I need you…’
Text, his thumb hovered over the send button.
Anthony pulled at his hair- before looking back up over to Joshua at the bar.
