Changings the Strings of Fate: Intermission 1 ( ADOPTED )

Summary:

" After a villain time travels to the past in order to destroy the world's two greatest heroes, the timeline changes.

As to avoid Class 1-A from potentially being attacked or captured by villains, all the members are taken into UA to reside in the new dormitory system.

For the children, while learning about the future and preparing for it was important, they found other things to worry about. Such as adjusting to dorm life, their first Sports Festival, their first Internships, and finally, studying for their end of Term test!

As the New Timeline is created, dangerous villains begin their schemes, along with unexpected guests from the future popping into Japan to help set some things right a bit earlier than expected. "

A *BIG* thank you to the original author, Babeiscool132 for allowing me to continue their fanfic

Notes:

Hi! So, before you begin to read the fic i want to explain a couple of things to try to make the transition smoother. So, if you're new to this fic, welcome! This fic was originately wrote by Babeiscool132 before they abandoned it. This fic is about a villain that has basically streamed the future to the present. A fun twist on the Watching the Show fictions. I will adapt the first fic to my style then i will adapt the sequel (and continue it hopefully till the end of the series) for the most fluid transition possible. Again, thanks to the original author for allowing me to continue the story. Have fun!

Chapter 1: Setting the Stage

Chapter Text

OF A FIREFIGHT

***

Kazuya stood on the other side of the ring inside Endevaour's (she refused to even acknowledge being related to him let along seeing him as her own grandfather ESPECIALLY when she grew up with Toshi-Jiji and Shouta-Jiji around) gym situated inside his own agency. The two scowled at each other, her dislike for him and his stubbornness to not let one of the few things that may help him to make Shouko see reason, return to him, leaving that boy behind and find a suitable husband!

- I’m soooo kicking your shitty flaming ass, old man! -

Endeavour glared, no grandchildren of his will speak like that, especially to someone older and especially to him, her own grandfather. It was further prove that that boy was not a good father and sure not a good partner for his daughter!

 - The sooner we start, the sooner we’ll get this over with. Do your worst, brat! -

Not even a breath after he finished the sentence, Kazuya propelled herself in the air with a blast, flames under her like a tail as she soared leaving behind a cloud of dust. He followed her with his gaze and found her fists enveloped in scarlet flame pulled back like the arms of a slingshot that snapped forward, throwing two searing fireballs at him. He merely pulled his arms up, letting her flames clash with his own.

As if hearing him Kazuya propelled herself forward with a kick, her silhouette reminding him of a hawk with its talons set forward to grasp its prey. He blocked, feeling the impact reverberate in his forearms as the hit made contact. He tried a hold but his niece felt it and gained distance with a burst of flames from her foot and elegantly returning to her starting position and with the same foot throwing an orange blaze at him which readily met with his own, the two semicircular shaped meeting in a cross shape before exploding. Endeavour smirked.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Shouko has trained her well, at least something i taught her stucked.

But he didn’t had the time to gloat. Kazuya dashed to his left dodging with relative ease his flame attacks with acrobatics. Too flashy and wasted energy, but it was effective. He would beat the habit out of her, ignoring the voice inside his head that said that he already tried to teach like that once, and what results had he gotten those two times?

The sound of flames breathing to life pulled him out of the not so pleasant memory lane: Kazuya propelled herself forward with a mean, flying knee to the face powered by a burst of flames. He blocked and realized the strength she put into that hit. She really meant to hurt him, huh?

The block turned in a grab in a split second, allowing him to bring Kazuya down and send her flying with a kick to the side. She grunted as she put herself on her legs in a move that reminded him of the calico cat he had in high school. He readied himself: he would not lose anyone ever again.

***

Kazuya cursed. It just had to be her luck to fall into the arms of that mass of fiery shit of a manchild. Why couldn’t she meet Rei-baa or Inko-baa? Even Auntie Fuyu would’ve been good! But noo, she had to get the asshole… She had to calm down, Otou-san and Okaa-san would not be proud of her right now. She felt envy for her sisters. Surely they already met with their parents and with Eri, why it had to be her!?

She quickly brought herself down to dodge a flaming fist and followed with a sweeping kick to his knee (thanks to Kami for keeping an interest in capoeira after her ex introduced her to it). He seemed to buckle so she continued the assault by engulfing her foot in flames before putting her hand down and throwing a cartwheel kick to the chin and another kick to the stomach. She smiled just to be smacked in the back and sent flying again to her right.

She got up just to be thrown down again by a fireball. And Kami if that hurted like a bitch. But she had to make it do.

- You’re skilled, even if rough around the edges. Your mother teached you well. Even if she got easy on you. -

Oh, this ugly motherfu-

- Taught? TAUGHT!? You didn’t taught jackshit asshole! Okaa-san learned how to do it thanks to Shouta Jii-Jii and Auntie Fuyu! You just beat down a kid! -

A hit sent her flying to the wall, the fire hurting her for the first time in this match.

- DON’T. YOU. DARE! I HAD TO DO WHAT I HAD TO DO TO GIVE YOUR OTHER A FUTURE! -

Kazuya spit a little bit of blood, the stench of burned hair hitting her nose.

Time for the sidecut again.

She licked the split lip. She couldn’t win, so it was time to play dirty. She let out a dark chuckle and gathered all the venom she could muster.

- And let me guess, did you planned to give her a future by selling her to that pedo of Ming? Or it was for yourself? Afterall… Didn’t Uncle Touya suffered too because of you? -

Damn, that was low even for me, hope he doesn’t break my neck and takes the bait.

***

Enji could feel the floor beneath his feet swallowing him. The entire world seemed to halt, losing all colors, smells and sounds as he zeroed on his niece. The little girl who was an exact copy of his daughter whom herself was an exact copy of his wife.

The accusations thrown at him hurt. Hurt more than he would like to admit to himself, let alone someone else. But he had to do it! It was the only way to surpass that man. The man that had the strength of seven people with him! And it wasn’t his fault if Rei hurt Shouko! He had to put her in that hospital so she could heal by the trauma caused by Touya’s death! She… she was just hurt… He didn’t notice that her granddaughter started to build up heat.

***

The oaf is spiraling. Good. And now make the money that the best parent a girl can possibly have spent on acting lessons worth it.

An eerie laugh that was all too, too familiar to Enji erupted from her throat. It would sting but it was necessary. She raised her right hand and blue flames engulfed it. Enji startled, backing down as an horrified expression plastered on his face that was soon replaced by one of alarmed concern.

“ No! Put it out! Put it out before hurting yourself! “

Hooked, now time for the gran finale!

She slammed her hands together and a bang followed by a blinding white light echoed in the gym. Kazuya closed her eyes and summoned what would be the real pain. From her hands, molten lava poured and melted the floor beneath her. Then the alarm screamed, and she smiled despite the first degree burns on her hands. The lava quickly cooled down, becoming safe to step on. Fortune was that they were upon the  garage. She quickly jumped down the hole she purposefully made too small for Endeavour and slowed herself by using flames on her hands and feet, then quickly darted towards the entrance.

Freedom at last! Now, what was the way for Rei-baa again?

OF AN EMBRACE AND AN APOLOGY

***

Rei awoke slowly, the drowsiness that came with the sedative made her body feel like heavy lead. Her eyes fluttered open, the world around her a chaotic mess of shapes and color that made her head throb with their lights. Why was she sedated again? Oh, yes, she had another meltdown about what happened to her little princess. She was ready to rage again, desperate to let the ache and desperation in her heart out again.

She was in a hospital bed while her daughter was Kami knows where and she was supposed to stay there doing nothing!?

- Mom? Are you awake? -

That voice… She remembered that voice.

- …Fuyumi? Fuyumi! What are you doing here!? You should be at work! -

She tried to get up with the help of Fuyumi, the sedative slowly wearing off as Rei looked at Fuyumi with maternal worry. Her daughter (one of her beautiful daughters)  smiled while giving her a Might Cola.

- Don’t worry Mom, they called the day off early today because of the screenings. -

Rei searched her daughter's face for even the faintest traces of lies and luckily for her she didn’t find anything, at least for now. Even though Fuyumi kinda went on the defensive, which was funny at least. But then, in that moment of clarity from her maternal induced rage and the sedatives, the reality of the situation settled in as tears started flowing freely from her eyes.

- Mom…? -

- Fuyu, your sister! Oh poor Shoko! I… I should’ve left with all of you after what happened with Touya! Is all my fault! -

Her knuckles whitened as she gripped the cheap hospital sheet she has been given. She just wanted to meet her little Shoko and hold her tight, shielding her from all the evils of the world and from… from him.

She felt Fuyumi’s arms embracing her, grounding her and keeping her from spiraling further.

- No! No it isn’t! Mom, listen, i'm thinking about a way to get Shoko out of there for good. And yes, she was hurt, but she is healing! She has amazing friends and even a boyfriend! Well, sort of, but the spirit is there, take a look! -

Fuyumi pulled out her phone, almost shoving it into her mother’s face without realizing it. Rei took the phone into her hand and began swiping as she wiped off the tears between the sobbing.  She looked through the photos, mourning to not be there with her (and how could she be after what she has done to her little baby? But the fact that she couldn't picki baby clothes with her and helping her trough the pregnancy still hurted).

Then she saw him, her first grandchild. He was of a beatiful shade of green, two small cyan eyes that reminded her of Natsuo (don’t think about him, no matter what don’t think about him, you’ll weep about your little boy later). He was wearing an All Might onesie and was smiling happily at the camera. Left of Shoko was the same boy from the screening. She realized that this was the first photo he appeared in.

- This is him? Her… boyfriend? Wait, but he is the boy of the screenings! How!? -

She hoped it wasn’t anything too dangerous. Her baby could be a hero if she wanted but please just a regular one, a normal one was enough dangerous as it is! But the boy seemed so nice, even if it didn’t really meant anything in the end. She spoke for experience.

- Fuyumi, you know him, right? -

The young woman shuddered. She knowed that look, and most of all, that tone in her mother. She closed in on herself, desperately trying to hide herself from Rei’s inquisitive gaze to no avail. But she tried to hold on for her sister’s sake. Thinking about it, maybe it was better telling her the truth while hyping up her future brother-in-law.

- Well, i’ve met Izu-kun when he came over and he is such a great guy! He spoils Touya rotten and is such a doting father and boyfriend. He always double checks with me when he wants to do something for Shoko to be absolutely sure she’ll like it, he is so cute! I am almost jealous. Oh and you know what happened?  -

Rei looked at Fuyumi like those times when she took a shine to someone and thought she wouldn’t notice. Same firmness, same inquisitiveness. At last, Rei smiled warmly, her eyes gleaming in the late afternoon’s light.

- What happened? Nothing serious i hope. -

Fuyumi leaned in and whispered with a wicked grin. Rei blushed and holded in a squeal. Her daughter seemed to be in good hands at least.

- Natsuo wanted to kill him on the spot but Shoko calmed him down. I swear i’ve never laughed so much in my life. -

Rei laughed, a genuine sound that she didn’t make for too long. Then, with a quiet, dejected tone she said.

- Do you… do you think that Shoko will come to visit one day? I want to meet them. I don’t want to pressure her or anything. I just want to see her all grown up in person at least once. -

Rei felt her daughter resting her head on her shoulder. She closed in, embracing the way she always had since she was put into her arms so many years ago.

- I’m sure she will. One day we will have dinner all together in a nice place without flaming assholes ruining it. -

Her eldest daughter smiled contentedly as she slowly fell to sleep, relishing in the warmth of her mother.

– Just wait for a little while longer Mom, and you’ll leave all of this behind, i… promise… you… -

Rei wiped out the tears in her eyes as she stroked Fuyumi’s cheek and removed her glasses. She asked herself what she had done in her previous life to deserve her brave, beautiful children. She kissed Fuyumi goodnight and closed her eyes for a nap besides her, unaware of a certain red-haired punk directed her way.

- I’m sure one day you will Fuyu-chan. Mommy believes in you. Always has and always will. I only wish i was strong enough to take you four away. I wish i was a better mother. -

 ***

Kyouka laid on her bed, still surrounded by a box or two. It didn’t matter how stubbornly she kept her eyes closed. She just couldn’t sleep tonight. With a groan she got up and went to the kitchen downstairs as quietly as possible. She tried to ignore Kaminari’s door. She would talk to him! Just… not now.

Maybe after the Sport Festival… Once down, she noticed the sound of a videogame playing from beyond the couch and a familiar voice quietly shouting.

- Why the Taxcalans are so many? What do you mean they have 5 full stacks!? -

What was he doing up at this hour?

- Denki? -

No! Why she called out to him!? Denki’s head popped out from behind the couch. His face was hold a look that she didn’t like. A look that a first glance held his usual friendliness but to people who knewed him for years, there was an undertone of distrust.

- Oh, hi Kyouka. You couldn’t sleep too? -

She shook her head as she took a seat at the table.

- Nah, too much anxiety. You too? -

Kyouka saw Kaminari move three units of Jaguar warriors against some light spearmen. He was seriously outnumbered.

- Yeah. I’m playing this old game, is a couple centuries old, i’m hoping it would put me to sleep. Turns out, this kinda games helps me concentrate so maybe it wasn’t a good idea. -

His tone was jovial like always, but still, a veil of awkwardness and distance was present, and it made her skin crawl. She calmed her thumping heart. Now or never.

- Ehi, Kaminari… -

Damn, why was her voice so weak? She sounded like a kicked puppy. Fortunately for her, Denki caught the shift in her voice. He paused the game and put the portable console down before turning to her.

- Yes? Kyouka, is everything all right? -

Damn, he would never stop caring, won’t he? Her shoulders dropped with a heavy sigh. Better to let it all out

- No, it isn’t. You… You were always good to me and i was just being a fucking asshole. I-I know it is too late to apologise but…  -

Denki got up and put an hand to her shoulder.

- Ehi, is okay. I know that you had it rough in class. And before you reply that it isn’t an excuse but if i had to be the butt of the joke and take a little fire instead of someone else then i dont regret one thing. Was it a little fucked up what you did at the USJ? You’d do it again? Since we’re having this conversation, absolutely not. Leave it all behind, we had to do what we had to do. -

Kyouka sighed. He really was too good for his own good.

- You can say sorry with a date! -

Nevermind. She refrained from stabbing him with her jacks.

- What were you playing before i came in? -

Kaminari sit down on the sofa, inviting her to join him. She did and Kaminari picked up the console again.

- Medieval 2. It’s a game from, i dunno 238 years ago. Basically, you pick a faction from the medieval era and you have to win by conquering regions so that you can unlock other factions. -

Kyouka nodded.

- Like Ultimate Civilization? -

Denki smiled.

- In a way. Is more of an hybrid between a turn based game a gestational and a RTS, is not a Grand Strategy game like the ones from paradox, a contemporary that then got buyed out from E-Production since that they were swedish. –

Kyouka was… genuinely surprised. Who would’ve thought that Denki Kaminari knew so much about a two century studio. The more he talked the more she realized that he gravely misjudged him. Without realizing, the two were up chatting until the clock hit the four and an half.

That night they both went to sleep with their hearts lighter. The following morning, neither of them were tired.

Notes:

Hiya guys! So, i'm not fully convinced about how this chapter turned out, so i'll let you be the judge of that. In this chapter we saw the return of Rei (my beloved) and Fuyumi. I wanted to write this little moment of mommy-daughter bonding to show how those two love eachother. Starting from the next chapter, we'll see the parents and how they fare as they start preparing themselves for the Sport Festival.
Hope you'll enjoy the chapter, see you next month!

OF STARTING POINTS

***

Mineta sat alone near the counter, laptop as he read an old historical novel, a warm glass of milk and chocolate cookies on his left. What little sleep he had left was long since gone and besides he was always an early riser, he always woke up at five o’clock since he could remember.

He dipped a cookie as he reached one of his favorite scenes, the time where the spartan phalanx readied against the charge of the persians but as he started reading he jumped when he heard a child cry. He was so invested that he forgot for an instant that Touya was with them!

- Shh Baby, i know i know your silly Mama forgot the milk in the- Oh, Mineta-san! Did we startle you? -

Mineta looked at them and was about to say one of his usual perverted things when something came up in his mind. Yuki-san made it pretty clear that if he didn’t correct he would end up dead in a ditch with no one to cry for him. So he bit his tongue and remembered the talk he had with Midnight and Keiko. And thinking of it, how much his perviness gave him some sort of trouble? What if he did actually listen to the people around him? Maybe he’d have more friend and maybe even a girlfriend?

- Mineta, you better not thinking what i’m thinking you thinking because i simply don’t have patience or will to put up with you especially around my daughters. -

Mineta shivered, and not only because there was a chill in the air but also for the look on Himura’s face and the tone of her voice. He then realized he was staring when Himura scoffed and looked away from him with a sneer. Something didn’t sit right with him.

- Sorry! No you didn’t is just tha… I’ve been… Thinking about a lot of things that have happened this last days and… My mind just wandered around and i didn’t realize that i was staring. So yeah, sorry… -

Damn, he sounded like a complete idiot but he thought that those things needed to be said. At least he could try to soothe a little of animosity. He had a bad feeling as of late, like something big (and bad, very very bad) was about to happen and either they get their shit together as fast as possible or they would end up like him in the future with the only difference that maybe there will not be a body to find.

Shoko turned towards him as she opened up the fridge to take Touya’s milk. The tension was replaced by awkwardness as Mineta could feel Himura judging him. God, he really was a creep huh? He returned to his book, but Andrea Frediani’s prose couldn’t captivate him like usual. Not for now, at least.

Himura quietly warmed up the milk for Touya as she stood silent. Then she moved to the couch as she started to feed him.

- Mineta. -

He shivered.

- Y-yes Himura-san? -

Himura sighed, as she was gathering herself for a speech.

- I think, i genuinely think, that you are a disgusting and horrible person. You have to be to say that… thing when all of this started. In front of all those people too. I do hope you’ll change for the good of the people around you but i don’t want your apologies and i won’t. Not until i’m sure you are a changed man. -

It hurted, but he nodded. He also had to apologize to the other girls and the whole class. Formarly. He just needed to find the right place and time. Maybe after the Festival? Yeah, sounded good… He then thought about that phrase, She asked for it… It wouldn’t be a phrase that will leave him soon. He was a really piece of shit huh?

- You’re right. Is okay if you won’t ever forgive me. You have all the rights to do it. Now i’ll… just apologize, then i’ll see what i can do. -

Shoko turned towards him, a look full of anger (and was that delusion?) plastered on her face. What was that emotion behind that look? Was the guilt playing tricks on him?

- We’ll see Mineta, we’ll see. Have a good read. -

Her tone returned to the same politeness she always had with everyone but with a clear hint of coldness and dismissal. She put Touya’s bottle in the sink as she returned to her room, leaving Mineta alone with his thoughts and guilt.

***

Izuku woke up, or better, came to consciousness before slowly waking up. Today feels good. And at last he was forced to get up. He went into the bathroom for a quick shower and while brushing his teeth he heard someone knocking.

- Dad, are you awake? Mom sent me since you didn’t picked up the phone. -

He quickly spit into the sink and cleaned himself before going to open the door. Sakura stood on the other side as she greeted him with a shining smile. At least his genes did try. Seeing his smile on Shoko’s face was…. something he couldn’t place into words.

His daughter giggled as she flicked his nose. He grinned and dragged Sakura in a crushing hug, making sure to pour all of his love into it. Sakura laughed while relishing in her father’s warmth.

- Daaad come one, the bus are coming to take us to the festival and you’re gonna be late, Yuki is helping Mom so i’m helping you. -

Izuku put her down, a faint blush on his cheeks as a thrill runned down his whole spine.

- Thank you Sakura. -

Sakura smirked, a look of playfulness in her eyes as she produced from her back a-

- Why do you have a beauty kit with you…? Why are you looking at me like that? S-Sakura y-you’re scaring d-daddy right now. -

Her mouth turned in the most scary, wicked grin Izuku ever saw in his short life. She grabbed his shoulders and turned him toward his room as she shoved him inside while happily chanting.

- Dress-up time with daddy! -

- Sakura! -

- Trust me Dad, Mom won’t resist you after i’m done. -

As Sakura drove her father into his room, a stuttering and blushing Izuku had a feeling this wasn’t the first time they did something like that. But she was his little girl, how could say no to her after seeing how happy she was to spend time with him?

***

- Yuki, give me a hand with your brother while i brush my hair please. -

- Yes, okaa–san. -

Shoko gave Touya to Yuki before starting brushing her hair with Touya babbling happily to Yuki. She smiled, her heart warm as she saw her children (she didn’t care Yuki was her same age, she was, is and will be her little girl) play on her bed. The children she had with him, her dear Izuku.

She saw Yuki looking into the mirror with a knowing smile on her face. But she had a feeling there was more of that. She blushed slightly, trying to hide her smile.

- What? -

Yuki almost imperceptible smile softly widened.

- Nothing, nothing. You’re just thinking about tou-san, it's cute. -

Shoko huffed, although Yuki’s comment made her soul soar. But she had a feeling she couldn’t shake off. She… just didn’t know how to ask without ruining the warm atmosphere between them. What is she thought that she was noisy? If only her mother could help… She hid her worries behind her usual mask, but her daughter caught up and soon called out on it.

- Mom, i know it may sound… hard to believe but- -

- Yuki. I don’t want to talk about it. -

- But- -

- Yuki. -

She sighed defeated.

- Okay mom. I’m sorry. -

Shoko turned on her chair and smiled softly.

- No, don’t be, you're just worried for me and i love that. It means a lot to me, it shows that we raised you four right. -

She opened her arms and Yukiko soon embraced her with a relaxed sigh.

- Yes, you did mom. We love even when you two are gross. -

She took offense to that.

- Speaking of the devil, where is your father? I tried to call him but his phone was off and i sent Sakura more than an hour ago. -

Yukiko snorted, a look of exasperation on her face.

- She is probably doing ‘dressing-up with daddy’. Basically she sequestered him to prepare him for whatever event he has to do. He can’t never say no and neither can you because… well, you’ll see. -

Shoko gave her a concerned look, what she was doing to him? Hopefully nothing too bad. They finished their morning routine a little after, even if Shoko was a bit annoyed because she couldn’t find her spare beauty kit.

They soon meet with the others. Mineta, gratefully, was just lounging on the couch, his phone clutched in his hands with a pair of earphones on. He seemed nervous than usual, far more serious than usual. But if it was for their earlier talk, the festival or both Shoko couldn’t tell. When their eyes met he simply nodded then returned to whatever he was doing. Good, she didn’t want to talk to him, even if she didn’t like that she couldn’t at least be on neutral terms with everyone.

Kirishima and Ashido were playing a card game, both with a deep look of concentration plastered on their faces as they placed cards on the table with Kaminari cheering Kirishima as Hagakure did Mina.

She never saw cards like that and she had absolutely no game in mind that required that strange dices they had. But it seemed fun, maybe after the festival she will ask them about it.

Kirishima laughed maniacally as he put down five cards in a row and defeated Ashido in what it seemed was an overkill on his part. She sighed as she sat down over a free couch and let a bored Yukiko play with her hair. Everybody was there except for Izuku.

She turned, ready to drop off Touya to his sister when she caught Denki whistle.

- Damn, looking good Midobro! Shoko will have to kick a bunch of asses to keep you now. -

She looked towards the hallway and what she saw made her realize exactly how lucky she was. Izuku was there and had a bit of dark green makeup, the sportive kind, that highlighted the shape of his eyes and made them shine in a way that looked so… enthralled. Then she noticed that his hair were kept slick behind his head, leaving his face cleare. And his freckles were a little bit darker too. Why did he have to look that good!? He had no right! How was she supposed to concentrate if he ended up beside her or against her!?

- You see, mom, that is why you can’t say no when Sakura decides to play dress-up with daddy. -

She glared at Yukiko with a frown and rosed cheeks. How dared her own daughter tease her like that!?

She hid by placing her head behind Touya as he decided that this was the right moment to call up to his father. Her first son too!

Izuku turned towards her, all the embarrassment from before gone, replaced by a cheerfulness typical of when Touya called to be picked up. She stood up and placed Touya in the hands of Yukiko as she got up and went to drink some water. A lot of cold water.

- Morning Touya, Yukiko! Hey Shoko, are you alright? -

She silently whined, she couldn’t face him like that, so she draw to her ice side and turned. Thankfully, she looked alright. If not, then Izuku was kind enough to not bring it up.

- Yes, just a little nervous, with the festival, the screening and all of that… You? -

Okay, okay that was good and she wasn’t absolutely fighting for her life right now, she was just… having a little chat with the future father of her numerous children, one of which decided to prep him just as she liked. He smiled in his lovely, timid way and replied.

- Me too. I mean, i dreamed of this moment since i was little and just now i realized that a lot of people will watch us. I kinda… didn’t realized fully until now, so i’m afraid i’ll mess up and make a fool of myself. But other than that, i’m doing well, I think. -

She nodded. So he still doubted himself. Not on her watch and especially not when she could do something about it. She put her feelings away for a moment and placed her hands on his shoulder and with the most reassuring tone she could muster she said to him.

- Izuku, you’re the most strong, resourceful and capable member of our class alongside Momo, Iida, Shoji, Toyokami and that angry pomeranian and no i won’t stop calling him that stop looking at me that way. Are we clear? -

- But! -

- Are. We. Clear? -

He couldn’t stand up to her when she got stern and she knew it. Izuku crumbled and nodded. She smiled victoriously and hugged him. Maybe she’ll give him a little… reward after the festival.

They soon cleared after themselves when Aizawa came and rounded them up. They mounted the bus and departed towards the stadium, unaware of the future chaos it will ensue.

Notes:

To everyone reading: Merry Christmas!

Now, with greetings out of the way, i would like to thank you all of you who left kudos and commented this work, i hope (for those who are here because of the original) my style and tastes aren't too much of a whiplash compared to the original author (Hi Beba!). This chapter is a bit of an end of year surprise, the formatting is different because i will be busy this last days of 2025 so i do what i can while also not having a laptop for now.

I have... plans for the festival but i'm taking it slow because i want to make it interesting and plan a whole fallout for what will happen in the viewing of the second season.

With this said, hope you had a good read, see you in January!
