"Giru," Pan began to tear up, "how could you? I trusted you."
Above her, the Imeckan robot she was fighting began to laugh.
"Why did you do it," she cried, "I was your friend!" A golden, glimmering aura appeared around the girl. "I WAS YOUR FRIEND!!!" Something snapped, and suddenly Pan's bandana was blown from her head by a massive upsurge of ki. In a flash, Pan had transformed. Her black soft hair had spiked straight up and turned golden, while her eyes had turned a brilliant shade of teal-green.
The bot's laughter died in his throat. "Error! This transformation, this power! It is not in T-20-06's provided data!"
"SHUT UP!!!" Pan screamed as she fired off a Maiden Rage. The robot screamed as the ceiling he was submerged in was utterly annihilated. He landed with a thud on the cold metal floor.
"Imposs-si-si-sible. This…wasn't…in the recooooorrrrrrrd…" He said as he powered down.
"Yeah I know why. Giru never saw me that mad." Pan smirked. Then, in her post-outburst clarity, she realized what he'd said. Transformation? Pan scrambled to the nearest reflective surface.
"Oh wow! I'm a Super Saiyan!" She was elated. "And I look just like grandpa too!" Indeed, her hair was the spitting image of Goku's whenever he turned Super Saiyan. Not a one to one recreation, but at the moment she couldn't have cared less. Pan smirked once more. "Heh, Giru is toast."
Back in the lab, the Sigma Force were cackling as they watched a playback of Giru's memories. Past Trunks and Pan were discussing robots. Pan didn't think much of them while Trunks believed robots can do anything. Sigma Force laughed again as past Trunks praised Giru.
"Giru! Our first dragon ball! And you led us right to it!"
"Of course he did, you fool," Nezi laughed cruelly. "Using you pathetic humans to help him find the dragon balls was his plan all along!"
"Is that so," came a new voice. It was Goku, who up to now had been faking being asleep. "Well he just lost some good friends. And as for you three, you're heading straight for the scrap yard!"
"Somebody shut his insolent mouth!" Nezi yelled and one of the technicians turned a dial, zapping Goku inside his pod.
"Will that teach you proper respect?" Nezi gloated.
"Trunks believed in him! They were friends! Pan too! They both truly liked Giru, and Giru truly liked them! I don't understand!"
"Heh heh heh! Sentimental fool! T-20-06 isn't capable of such silly affection! Friendship? Trust? What can these things mean to a mutant robot strictly programmed to do his duty!?"
"Danger! Energy waves!" the technician warned as the far wall began to flow and spark with golden light. No sooner had he alerted them, the wall exploded revealing a very pissed off quarter Saiyan.
"All right! Where's my grandpa!?"
"How did you find this lab, girl!?" Nezi demanded.
"You stupid robots are easy to find!"
"Pan! Look out!" Goku called, noticing one of the Sigmas, Ribet, phasing into the floor.
Ribet popped back out behind Pan, intending to smack her across the room. He was surprised, then, to find that she caught his attack. Pan glared as she punched him hard, slamming him hard against what remained of the wall, before transforming once more.
"Pan," Goku yelled excitedly, "you're a Super Saiyan!" He took the opportunity to power up, destroying his confinement with an explosive wave. "I won't let you guys hurt anyone else!"
As Trunks began to stir, three things became apparent to him: he and Goku were in a lab, Goku and Pan were staring down the Sigmas, and Pan was…a Super Saiyan!?
"Pan, Trunks, go back to the ship make sure nothing's out of place! These three are all mine!"
"No way!" Pan whined. "I owe Giru a major beat down!"
"Then go after Giru, but after you and Trunks secure our ship! We're not leaving here without it!"
"Consider it done!" Trunks said as he blasted off.
"Fine," Pan relented, powering down, "but I'll be back soon." She followed after Trunks.
