The TV flickered in the corner of the room casting a faint glow on the couch where the tokito twins were lounged.
Muichiro was gradually switching channels, hoping to find anything interesting or worth watching while yuichiro flipped the pages of a magazine beside him.
Just as a news channel popped up Muichiro raised his thumb from the remote in his hand and tilted his head slightly curious just as announcer's voice echoed through the room.
"AS EXPECTED. ONCE AGAIN..! OUR FAVOURITE UNSTOPPABLE DUO HAS SHATTERED ANOTHER RECORD MAKING IT THEIR 3RD RECORD IN THIS MONTH.!
TANJIRO AND KAZUKI..! YOUR SINGLE SURPASSED 20 BILLION VIEWS UNDER 25 HOURS HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE TH-"
Yuichiro's gaze flickered towards the TV with mouth wide open.
"20 WHAT?!.." He spat out in disbelief.
Muichiro chuckled an spooked at him in amusement
"Tanjiro..and Kazuki..? Well.. whatever good for them..?" He said slightly unsure on what to say.
"Yeah. Tanjiro ans kazuki..never heard of them in my entire life.." he mutters with a blank expression and glances back at the magazine he was reading.
Muichiro let's out a breath that barely sounded like a laugh.
"..oh look that's them..?" He said while raising an eyebrow in confusion.
Yuichiro glances up again, curious to see the so called 'unstoppable' duo that seem to be really popular.
The TV was now showing two male figures responding to the announcer's questions. They didn't seem to be too..old..they looked almost around their age..and that was exactly the annoying part.
"These kids should be in school instead of a stage!" He says while rolling his eyes sarcastically.
Muichiro shakes his head in amusement before looking back at the TV.
'Announcer: So Kazuki. Tell us! What are you planning in the future! Fans are eager to know!'
Kazuki leaned back lazily, flashing a smirk. 'well...we were thinking of joining a public school for a while. You know, boring life, we need entertainment, yeah?' he said with an effortless wink that made the studio erupt in laughter.
Yuichiro groaned at the screen. "nEeD sOmE eNtErTaInMeNt yEaH?..tsk who does he even think he is..?"
Muichiro blinked. "Uh...Kazuki. Apparently the man everyone's obsessed with right now..?"
Yuichiro rolled his eyes, "he doesn't deserve the recognition. Especially not from us. Glad we didn't even know him before. I wanna break that pride of his".
The announcer turned toward the rest of the couch. 'and the rest of you, Rika, Lucas, Alex, you're staying quiet back there! What's the plan for the band while these two cause chaos in school?'
Rika, the keyboardist, laughed softly. 'I'll tag along while the rest keep the music alive while we're pretending to be normal students. Someone has to be the responsible one.'
Lucas leaned towards his mic with a grin. 'Translation: We're gonna text them a hundred times a day making sure they eat breakfast.'
Alex nodded. 'and record every embarrassing thing they do for the next documentary.'
Kazuki pouted dramatically. 'see? That's why I need entertainment. They bully me for free.'
The crowd laughed again.
'Fair enough' the interview smiled. 'Now, Tanjiro..your fans are curious. Rumor says your sister, the too model Nezuko Kamado, and her best friend the famous Kanao Tsuyuri might also be joining the same school. Any truth to that?'
Tanjiro chuckled nervously. 'Yeah...they wanted to experience a normal life for once too. Guess the school won't stay normal for long.'
'so musicians and models under one roof.' the announcer said, 'That campus is going to be chaos!' she chuckled
Muichiro and Yuichiro exchanged a weird look.
"Celebrities and models in a public school..? What's next??! ..politicians in gym class?!" Yuichiro complained.
Muichiro sighed, " it'll be hard for them...but whatever, I guess." A few minutes passed by and yuichiro started to get bored. He glanced at the clock....and froze.
"11 PM?; We have school tomorrow!"
"Better get to bed then...these idiots just wasted our time."
"Oh,come on..."
