Overlord meeting
Carmine Industries
An overlord meeting was happening without a few key figures, since this was about a dispute between the Vee's, Rosie and Alastor respective territories. Carmilla had agreed to be the mediator between them.
An angelic portal opened a small device was thrown through it, Alastor hit it out a window but by now the gas was spreading through the room. Fast than they could try and escape, Velvette and Alastor were coughing the hardest.
'Alastor Velvette are you ok' asks Carmilla as she does her best to breath through the chest rattling coughs. 'I am fine thank you Carmilla' says Alastor, 'Get get away from him. You won't touch my little brother' cries out Velvette sounding rather scared.
'Run Nico run' cries Velvette once more as though she was trapped in some of her worst memories. Rosie, Carmilla, Vox, Valentino and Alastor could only watch in shock as Velvette fought against her invisible demons.
'If anything happens.. Give that to Nico and tell him, I'm sorry' says Velvette and she looked as though she was about to burst into tears. Alastor fell to the floor hard, 'Marie mon petit soeur what did you do' cries Alastor as his eyes glazed over.
Alastor began to rattle off stuff in a mixture of French and English while Velvette sobbed in Italian and English. 'Someone inform anyone about what is happening' says Carmilla as she begins to feel herself getting trapped in her old memories.
Valentino and Vox sent messages to someone as they too collapsed. Rosie was the last of them to go down. Rosie could feel the hunger and the taste of the human flesh for the first time since her death.
She remembers her husbands stupid decision to join their friends the Donner's on their expedition. She remembers the hunger that rage in her belly, the ferocious winter that forced her and her husband Frank to eat human bodies.
It was so delicious for them and they felt full for the first time in days. Soon everyone was trapped in their worst memories as they each in turn remember the cost of their actions and falling into Hell.
For Velvette she remembered killing a soldier who tried to take away her little brother. Alastor remembered all of his killings and how he exchanged a deal in order to save his sister from Hell, since she listened to a mysterious voice.
Carmilla remembered the soldiers who raped her and her daughters. She remembers dying at the hands of the Empire who conquered her home land, she remembers the burning of Londinium and how they promised their revenge.
Valentino remembered being a powerful pimp and when he developed lung cancer, he lost all of his power. He had forced his only niece out of high school, so that she could take care of him. She never complained and he never even knew what happened to her.
Vox remembered controlling his mindless sheepole, how his wife left him and took their 3 month old daughter Estelle and their 2 year old son Rich. As the Overlords each fell to the floor as they remained trapped in their memories, a portal opened.
'Dad Uncle Hades let's get them to the hotel' says Charlie as she picks up Velvette. While Hades and Lucifer picked up the others, 'Charlie do you know their names' asks Hades as he picks up Alastor and he tries to remember the man from when he was alive.
Charlie quickly made 6 beds appear as the Overlords suffered the affects of the gas, 'What are they saying' asks Charlie since she can't understand Italian, Latin or the ancient language that Carmilla spoke.
'Susan get back here I i'm going to make it big and then you and Estelle will live comfortably' says Vox as he tries to grab invisible woman who turned away from him. 'I'm sorry Sally. I am sorry that you had to give up your dreams' says Valentino.
'Londinium shall burn' says Carmilla. Hades had a shocked look on his face, 'I know who their living relatives or descendants are' says Hades as he runs a hand through his hair. Charlie, Lucifer and Hades could only look at the 6 Overlords with pity.
Pity for the fact that they had no control over this anymore. 'Forgive me Niccolo. Forgive me mama' says Velvette and it sounded as though she was acting wanting forgiveness for something. Why she wanted forgiveness they had no clue what it was for.
