Work Text:

Vaggi and Alastor had cornered Charlie right after dinner, pulling her away from her conversation with her father with strained smiles and fake excuses. Charlie could tell something was wrong from the way they spoke but from the moment Vaggi looked at her she knew she had to go with them.

Something was wrong. Alastor looked the same as he always did and as always Charlie was unable to read him with his too large smile and a glare always pointed at Lucifer but Vaggi… well Charlie couldn’t read her either and that was the issue.

Vaggi was a tough cookie to crack but she was Charlie’s cookie. Vaggi was always so sweet with Charlie, her smile soft and her eyes shimmer with unadulterated love. She wore her heart on her sleeve with Charlie in a way she never does with anyone else which made the way she was acting now so strange. Her arms were wrapped around herself in the mockery of a hug and her eyes downcast, refusing to make eye contact even when Charlie made it obvious she was trying.

Her and Alastor working together was also strange. Vaggi and Alastor barely tolerated each other on a good day and from the way they were acting today was not a good day.

So she let them pull her away from Lucifer. She sent him a smile to assure him that she would see him later and followed her two most trusted advisors into the hallway.

“What’s wrong?” She tried to smile but it fell flat.

Alastor and Vaggi glanced at each other but Alastor was the one to speak. “Not here.” And then they kept walking, not waiting for Charlie to follow.

So she followed. They led her down the hall and one silent elevator ride later they were holed up in Vaggi’s new, and Charlie’s old, office.

“Should we sit?” Charlie didn’t wait for an answer before plopping down on the chair behind the desk.

“You probably should.” Vaggi finally spoke but she didn’t sit and neither did Alastor.

“Can you tell me what's going on now?” Charlie let out a hesitant little laugh, “you’re kinda starting to worry me.”

Alastor and Vaggi glanced at each other once again, in that worried and knowing way that was starting to get on Charlie’s nerves. Alastor motioned Vaggi forward with a flourish and the fallen angel glared but stepped forward.

“It’s about Lucifer,” Vaggi said, seeming to look everywhere but into her girlfriend's eyes.

Charlie froze. “Dad? What about him?”

Vaggi sighed, her voice shaking in a way Charlie had never heard before. “He makes me uncomfortable. The way he acts around you… it makes me uncomfortable.”

The smile Charlie was already barely holding onto melted from her face. “What?”

“I-” Vaggi choked on her words. “You tell her”

“Gladly,” Alastor's voice was a low growl that he tried to keep light like he always does, “Charlie, my dear, your father has ill intentions.”

Charlie sighed. She knew Alastor didn’t like her father and Lucifer didn’t like him either, the two of them made it obvious every time they had to share a space. So she wasn’t all that surprised that Alastor didn’t trust him either but Vaggi? She thought Vaggi would like Lucifer or at least try to get along with him. They both had the whole fallen angel thing in common and that was a rare thing to find around here. Okay, so maybe that wasn’t a great way to become friends with someone but Vaggi loved her so she should at least try to get along with the people she loves.

“Alastor, I know you two don’t exactly get along but my dad has done so much to help. He rebuilt the hotel! He’s finally back in my life and believes in me and my dream and I need him here! He would never do anything to hurt me so really you guys don’t have to worry.” She sent Vaggi a comforting smile that Vaggi didn’t return.

“Charlie,”Vaggi sighed. “That’s not the kind of ill intentions he means.”

Charlie looked between the two of them with wide eyes. “Then what do you mean?”

“The way he looks at you… the way he touches you.” Alastor’s shadows moved over to him and hovered its hand over places Lucifer touched her. Her face, her hands, her hips, her waist, her lower back, her thighs. “It’s abnormal.”

Charlie snarled, "there's nothing abnormal about my relationship with my dad!”

“Babe,” Vaggi finally met her gaze, “the way he acts with you is not the way a father should act with his daughter.”

“What do either of you know about the way a father should act!” Charlie snapped before she could think and she continued before she had the chance to feel bad, letting her rage take over and speak for her. “My dad has always been touchy, he’s touchy with everyone he cares about like my mom and the other sins! There's nothing wrong or inappropriate about the way he loves me! He just came back into my life and I won’t let you take him away from me!”

“I’ve always known you were naive, Charlie, but you’re not this stupid.” Alastor’s antlers grew and the room darkened, “your father is a creep and a pervert and if you don’t get rid of him I will, its for your own good-”

Charlie stood, her chair falling over and slamming against the wooden floor. Red horns ripped through her skull and her hair spilled from her ponytail, the flying strands casting her red on yellow eyes in shadows. When she spoke her voice echoed in the quickly heating room.

“You will do no such thing.” She didn’t yell but her voice was so loud Alastor’s ears tipped downwards and Vaggi rushed to cover her own. “If I catch word of either of you speaking to my father there will be consequences. Do you understand?”

“Charlie please!” Vaggi begged. “We’re trying to protect you!”

“You don’t need to protect me from him, he loves me.”

“That’s what we’re afraid of!” There were tears in Vaggi’s eyes. “Charlie I don’t want anything bad to happen to you! I can’t let anything happen to you! I don't know what I’d do if he-” A sob tore itself from her throat.

Charlie’s hair fell around her face, her horns receding and her eyes reverting. She ran to hold her girlfriend in her arms, cradling the smaller woman against her chest.

“Vaggi, I promise it’ll be okay.” Charlie leaned back and moved to gently hold her face in her hands, “you trust me don’t you?”

“Of course I trust you it’s him I don’t trust.” Vaggi nuzzled into her palm, “I have a bad feeling about him.”

“You just need to get to know him!” Charlie smiled. “I know he has this big bad reputation as the devil but I know that you’ll get along if you just give him a chance. You are the two people I love most in the world and I need you to at least try… for me? Please?”

Vaggi closed her eyes but she nodded.

A screech of radio static sounded from behind her quickly reminding her that Alastor was in the room with them. The sinner’s smile was closer to a snarl, black gums on display. “Well don’t come crawling back to me when I’m proven right.” He turned away from her and sunk into the shadows.

Charlie narrowed her eyes but decided to ignore him.

She smiled softly at Vaggi and placed a kiss to the tip of her nose. “I have some work to catch up on but I’ll come to bed soon okay.”
Vaggi smiled a strained toothy smile, almost like she was trying to take a page from Alastor’s book. “Okay, baby, I’ll see you soon. I love you.”

Charlie pressed a kiss to Vaggi’s lips, quick but sweet. “I love you more.”

Charlie pressed a kiss to Lucifer’s lips, forcing their mouths together in a heated embrace. Her tongue ran over his bottom lip and slipped inside to taste him. His mouth was slack against her, his tongue still under the motions of her own but Charlie didn’t let his lack of enthusiasm get to her, she never did.

She pulled back, placing kisses along his jaw and down his throat. “I love you,” she panted against his skin.

He didn’t answer.

“You love me too, dad, I know you do.” She brushed her thumb against his cheek, wiping away a stray tear. “Tell me you do.”

“I do love you but not- not like this, Charlie, please not this.”

“It’s okay,” Charlie whispered. “You can admit it. I love you too.”

“No, this is wrong. We can’t- you can’t-”

“There’s nothing wrong with our love. You don't have to be ashamed.”

“You’re my daughter! You’re my daughter- I don’t want this.” His hands clenching into fists, his claws ripping holes through the sheets.

Charlie sighed, the corner of her lips turning down into a frown. Her hands trailed down his body, her claws raking lightly over his nipples. A small shudder racked through Lucifer’s body.

She knew her dad wanted her just as badly as she wanted him. Her conversation with Alastor and Vaggi just proved it. The way he looked at her, the way he touched her, she knew but no matter how many times they did this he still held onto his shame. He refused to admit he loved her the way she loved him, the way he loved mom.

Charlie grinded down against Lucifer, her clothed pussy wetting his hardened dick even through her slacks. She smiled as he moaned, his eyes squeezing shut and his golden blush spreading farther down his neck.

Yes, he wanted this.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed! This is my first time writing anything like this but I do plan on making this a series. Things get worse before they get better but they DO get better. Unless I change my mind but for now I plan on a happy ending.
