Jeremiah's PoV
"Let's meet."
Those were the words that was in his message as I hold my phone on my hand.
"H-how am I supposed to show up?" I uttered to myself.
Sean thinks I... am a girl.
But I am not.
Lalaki ako.
I never really intended to make a fool out of him... but my emotions took better off of me.
I wanted the conversations.
I wanted talking to him online.
He was an amazing guy...
That I myself forgot the fact that he thought... I was a girl.
"Tangina paano ba to?"
"Pano na gagawin ko?!" tarantang sambit ko pa sa sarili ko
I didn't intend to fool him for this long... I just-was lost in the moment that somebody gave me attention.
Hi pretty...
Those were the words he first sent me.
I replied with the thought of him genuinely wanting to know me until one day he sent me a text showing me a dress.
What's this? I replied to him
A dress for a pretty lady like you
You mistook me for a girl, but I didn't have the courage to tell you.
Kasi pano pag nalaman mong lalaki ako? What will happen next?
Will you hate me?
Will you despise me?
That somebody that I've grown to like will just... disappear. Again.
And I don't want that.
So I acted like nothing was wrong.
I acted like a girl.
Not until you wanted to meet in person.
"Bakla you can't continue doing this. Niloloko mo yung tao" sambit ng kaibigan ko.
"But-"
"No buts. Be real. Wala lalong magsstay sa tabi mo if you keep this up. Sinong gugustuhing makilala at makasama isang manloloko ha?"
"Maybe I can still stretch the meetup?"
"Come on Miah"
"I just... don't want to lose him"
"You're losing him more than you know by doing this. Tanga ka ba?"
"I don't know"
"Miah, alam mo. Ayaw mo lang gawin. Come on. You're fooling the innocent guy. Be real for once!"
"I can't" sambit ko leaving my friends.
I continued to interact with him but he grew annoyed of me delaying the meetup that he decided to call me.
"Fuck... I guess this is it" sambit ko sa sarili ko looking at his caller ID on my phone.
A few more rings then I answered it.
"Hello?"
"..."
"Miah?"
"H-hello..."
"Wait. Who are you? Why is Mia's phone with you?"
"I... I am Mia."
"What? Hahaha dude fuck off"
"Sean... I am Mia."
Silence filled the other side of the line before it dropped.
Wala na. Haha.
Tapos na yung saya ko knowing and chatting with him.
I guess I deserve it.
