Summary:

When The Party + older Teens + adults all go to watch a movie at the Byers house, nobody thought much about it, just thought they'd watch the usual movies, Back to the Future, Goonies, stuff like that. When Eleven pulls out an old DVD from the depths or a box, nobody thought much about it again, but when it started playing and the first scene said "North Denver, 1978" Both Robin & Hopper knew what it was immediately..

Chapter 1: The Introduction

1987, nearly 10 years after both of Hopper's kids died.. Sara had been 7 and died of Cancer - she would've been 16 currently, Vance was 15 and got murdered - he would've been 24 currently. He was sort of over their deaths not, well, not in that way, he just didn't think about the sad parts, he thought about the good things! How Sara used to run and wake him up every morning, how Vance would still be asleep and would wake up late everyday, Hopper had thought it was boring back then but now.. it was just memories, since they were both gone now.

They were all at the Byers house currently, Jonathan, Eddie, Steve, Nancy and Robin were on the main couch, Eleven and Dustin were on the floor in front of them, Mike and Will were on the armchair, Max and Lucas were on the bean bag and both Hopper and Joyce were leaning against the wall. El had found a DVD in the bottom of a box and it looked cool so she wanted to watch it, the others said why not because they were all bored, had nothing to do and were gonna watch a movie anyway, why not watch it? How bad could it really be?

 

 

the screen flashes to life, a ray of colors appearing before the screen goes black again, staying like that for a couple of seconds before 3 words appear on the screen..

"NORTH DENVER - 1978"

 

 

*Both Robin & Hopper feels there hearts drop at those words, they both knew what happened in North Denver.. Hoppers nephew had been murdered by someone called Albert Shaw.. Aka The Grabber.. Also Robins dad..!*

Notes:

I'm so sorry that this first chapters short- the rest of them will be longer I promise, currently I'm trying to plan them out, the others will be longer & better (I hope) if you have any suggestions/ideas/tips then please tell me, this is my first fic so it might be bad, I will most likely redo this sometime in the future when I'm more experienced with writing on this.

Just to clarify - Steve is not Finney, there two seperate people and not related at all. Robin Buckley is the Grabbers daughter, she was 10 when The Black Phone took place and that's why she moved to Hawkins. Vance is Hoppers nephew, Vance was 15 when he died, Hopper didn't find out about his death until the year after when he called his sister asking about Vance and she told him he was dead. Hopper is aware that Robin is the Grabbers daughter, the others have no idea what happened in Denver, Nancy knows a bit since she tends to do all detective things like that but she doesn't know the full story or that Robins dad was the one kidnapping & killing all the kids.
