They were in their third year when everything changed for them. Their relationship trajectory changed directions so quick it gave them all a whiplash. A whiplash so hard they didn't realize the string holding them all together snapped so quickly that every memory they cherished, every word they exchanged, every touch they gave and accepted were all history now. Each one of them were all battling their own demons that none of them could stomp down and push it to the side. It’s something that consumed them three and changed them little by little each day that it soon intertwined into their relationship. Something that was cherished was soon being tainted by those demons. They were all so happy, and yet, just everything went straight to hell. Everything came crashing down, everything that meant so much to them soon because something they despised. Words hold meaning, they are powerful. Some say they are more powerful than actions.
They exchanged words between one another that stung more than anything in the world. Words bouncing off of one another breaking each other's souls more and more but before they could even let common sense swim in and take over, the damage was already done.
They were done with another.
As much as they craved one another, this relationship wasn’t right. Especially not how they were right now.
At the same time. . .
It felt like none of them were made for one another, it seems. Especially since their soulmate marks erased from their skin as if they never were there in the first place.
That all changed, eight years later.
