Everyone wants the Pennywise kids

Summary:

This is based on a joke where our cast kept writing stuff where the Pennywise kids (McQueen, Barrel, Hope, Becky, and Harry) were getting flirted with/shipped with other characters so I decided to write this

McQueen is my favorite can you tell

Notes:

Usual AU stuff

-McQueen, Harry, Barrel, Becky, and Hope are Penny's kids. Only Hope is biologically her child.
-McQueen and Fipp are married
-McQueen and Lockstock went to high school + college together (they dated briefly in college)
-McQueen's first name is Ryder, Lockstock's is Theodore, Barrel's is Isaac, Fipp's is Seymour, Billeaux's is Benjamin, and Millennium's is Martha
-Billeaux and McQueen absolutely fucking hate each other

the timeline is weird, it's pre-canon but they already know Hope is Penny's daughter. Don't question it.

Chapter 1: Part 0 - Introduction

Chapter Text

Lockstock doesn’t necessarily like any of the people here. Billeaux and Millennium are alright, but Fipp was the main reason for his annoyance.

That and Barrel was ill, so he couldn’t come.

McQueen had been taking care of Barrel and got sick as well, so he couldn’t attend either.

This snowballed into the rest of the family getting sick too, the illness even reaching Little Sally.

Somehow Fipp hadn’t gotten affected, which only heightened Lockstock’s annoyance.

So, Lockstock wasn’t necessarily in the best mood today. Not even the liquor in his cup helped soothe the headache forming behind his eyes. Maybe a little more would help…

“What’s with those damn Pennywise kids?!” Someone suddenly said exasperatedly, raising their glass and nearly spilling.

“What do you mean?” Millennium asked, leaning towards whoever was speaking curiously, tapping her nails against the table.

“All of them. None of them are even biologically related, but they’re all gorgeous. How does that happen? How?” The same guy asked, clearly a little wasted. He’s just drunkenly rambling, Lockstock thought with an eye roll.

But to his surprise, other people piped up in agreement. They shared stories of the apparent reputation of Ms. Pennywise’s children, most of which were positive. Even Dr. Billeaux agreed a couple times.

Now, Lockstock did not, in any capacity, think that any of the Pennywise siblings were ugly (especially not Barrel). But he’s never really focused on their appearances. He found no reason to.

Well, except for McQueen in college, but that was a different time.

Were the siblings really this popular? McQueen’s happily married, Barrel hasn’t shown much interest in dating anyone for years (which fills Lockstock with a kind of relief he doesn’t feel like unpacking), Harry’s still kind of hung up on his ex that nobody talks about anymore, Hope has her eyes on Bobby Strong, and Becky once punched a guy for flirting with her. None of them were really the type to date around, not now at least.

“They’re a very….nice looking family,” Fipp said, staring down at his glass of whiskey. Lockstock raised an eyebrow at him so Fipp cleared his throat. “Ryder especially,” he added quickly.

Dr. Billeaux flushed slightly and nodded. Lockstock wasn’t sure for which comment he was agreeing.

All this talk got the cop wondering, were there really that many people after Penny’s kids? He tried to think of a few examples…
