Adrien sat down next to Marinette who was watching her soon to be former friends surround Lila as they listen to whatever tall tale she was sprouting out of her mouth.
"Thanks for taking the high road, Marinette." Adrien said which made Marinette roll her eyes at her soon to be former crush
"Once her lies are revealed, they all going to be akumatized and when they learn you knew she was lying and didn't say anything, they going to be pissed at you." Marinette said
"That's not going to happen, besides what if she's not actually lying and is telling the truth about her adventures." Adrien said as he smiled which made Marinette stare at him
"(I can't believe he's this stupid to believe that.)" Marinette thought
"Right." Marinette said then Adrien stood up
"Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow." Adrien said as he walked away
"(Stupid blonde.)" Marinette thought, then she stood and also walked home
Inside her bedroom
When she arrived home, Marinette carefully placed her bag down and she did, the kwamis came and hugged which made her smile
"I'm glad I can come home where I get lots of love from you guys." Marinette said as she kissed each kwami on the top oh their heads, then once she was down she took off her school clothes and put on her comfortable clothes, which was a tank up and pink skirt then she sat in front of her computer and went to work on her new design website MDC.
After a few hours working on her website, Marinette turned her computer off and stretched her arms out, then she got off her chair and started getting ready for bed.
"(How I wish I was in Ms. Mendeleev class when I became Ladybug and the Guardian.)" Marinette thought as she climbed up to her bed and lied down not knowing her wish will come true.
The next morning.
The sunlight shined through her window hitting her face which woke her up and when she did, she was greeted by the kwamis who were staring at her
"What did you do?" Tikki asked, which confused Marinette
"What do you mean, what did I do?" Marinette asked
"You don't notice anything weird happening?" Wayzz asked
"The only weird thing is you guys." Marinette said, which made Tikki sigh then she went down to Marinette's computer desk and picked up a piece of paper and brought it up to Marinette.
"Read this." Tikki said handed the paper to Marinette who grabbed and saw there was word written on it so she read and when she was done, her eyes widen
"I used the Guardian wish." Marinette said, then she looked up at the kwamis with confusion written on her face
"What is the Guardian wish exactly?" Marinette asked
"The Guardian wish, is something the guardians use to wish to see what happens if they did the opposite thing they did before and see the outcome of their wish." Wayzz said
"And how dangerous is the Guardian wish compared to Gimmi?" Marinette asked
"Using Gimmi, they rewrite history, while the Guardian wish is harmless to the universe." Wayzz said
"But why would I use the Guardian wish?" Marinette asked, then she Adrien's voice in the back of her head
"As long as her lies ain't hurting anyone, I see no problem just letting her continue lieing." Adrien's voice said
"Let's see what the Guardian wish has done?" Marinette asked as she climbed out of bed, dropped down onto her floor and logged into her computer where she searched up the Ladyblog to see what the last video was and she sees Lila claiming to be Ladybug's best friend.
"Are you going to confront her again?" Tikki asked which made Marinette shake her head
"No, not this time." Marinette said
"But I'll be watching so I can grab the Grimoire from the trash." Marinette said then she looked at the note, then she turned it over and it told her what changed after the Guardian wish
"It appears I'm in Ms. Mendeleev class this year instead of Ms. Bustier's class." Marinette said then she continued reading
"It appears I somehow gained actual magical powers from the Miraculous and being the Guardian." Marinette said, and this made Marinette wonder
"How did I became the Guardian in the first place, I became the guardian when I failed to de-transform back." Marinette said
"So how did I became Guardian when today is when I meet Master Fu with the Grimoire." Marinette said
"Keep reading, you'll find out." Tikki said, which Marinette did and when she found when she became Guardian she widened her eyes
"I became Guardian when Rose was akumatized, but why?" Marinette said, as she continued reading and found out why
"Oh, that's why." Marinette said
"Master Fu, was dying." Marinette said, then she heard her mom shout
"Marinette breakfast!" Sabine shouted
"Coming mom." Marinette said as she logged off her computer and she put the note somewhere safe so no one can read then she climbed downstairs and ate breakfast with her mother and once she was done, she climbed back to her bedroom where she got dressed, picked up her bag and headed to school after telling the kwamis to behave
When she arrived to school, she ran over to her new friends which she found out in the letter
"Did you hear about this new student?" Hannah asked
"I did when I walked into school." Marinette said
"Well apparently, this new girl is saying the Ladybug saved her while Ladybug was in Italy." Hannah said
"And did Ladybug went to Italy to save this new girl?" Kylie asked which made Hannah shake her
"No, The bugout blog is all up to date with Ladybug's adventures, and it never says that Ladybug went to Italy at all." Hannah said
"The bugout blog?" Marinette asked, which made Hannah show Marinette
"The Bugout blog, the much better blog compared to the Ladyblog." Hannah said
"Who created the blog?" Marinette asked
"No one knows, but all we do know is that, they don't just cover Ladybug and the akumas." Aurore said as she walked over
"They also cover events that's happening around Paris, they also interview former akumatized victims like me and get an updated tally on the akuma class." Aurore said
"Why would they need a tally on the akuma class?" Marinette asked
"The amount of akumas that come out of that class is ridiculous and it also has how many people caused the most akumas and at the top is Chloe Bourgeois." Hannah said
"Damn." Marinette said, which made her sigh out of relief
"I'm glad I switched classes, can you imagine being in the same class with Chloe for 4 years." Marinette said, and this made her friends to shiver
"That would be terrible." Aurore said
"I have a feeling someone is going to confront Lila about how Ladybug didn't go to Italy or saved her life." Marinette said
"I wouldn't be in Lila's shoes if that happened." Nicole said
The girls heard the classbell rang, which made them all head to their class.
A few hours later, school was let out, so Marinette headed home where she headed up to her bedroom and took the Fox Miraculous out
"Trixx, let's pounce." Marinette said as she transformed into kitsune.
"Mirage." Kitsune said as she used the power of illusion to turn invisible
"Tikki, I would like for you to stay here until I return with the Grimoire." Kitsune said
"You sure that's wise, what if Lila gets akumatized." Tikki said
"If she does, her power will be weak against the true power of the Miraculous." Kitsune said then she climbed up to her balcony and leaped off her balcony and towards the park where she hid behind a tree to watch Lila and Adrien
Few seconds later, Lila arrived and sat down onto the bench where she took out the Grimoire and opened it the Fox Miraculous and when she did that she took out the Fox necklace she brought.
When Lila spotted Adrien arrive, she threw the book into trash can behind her, Adrien sat down and the two started talking to each other
A minute or two has passed, Kitsune saw someone walking up towards Lila and Adrien and started shouting at her
"(Damn, they really going into her.)" Kitsune thought
Adrien didn't like how this person was shouting at Lila, so he stood up and confronted the man
"Hey, what's the big idea shouting at her. Adrien said
"She did nothing wrong." Adrien said which made the person to turn and glare at Adrien
"Nothing wrong you say." The person said
Well let me tell you what is wrong. The person
"This bitch thinks she can lie about the greatest hero being in Italy, and becoming best friends after saving her life, well thank again." The person said then she brought out their phone, and showed Adrien the locations where Ladybug has been to.
"As you can see, Ladybug has only been in one country and that is France." The person said
"That still doesn't mean you'll have to shout at Lila, like that." Adrien said
"I don't care, I'm not letting someone lie about Ladybug like that." The person said, as they gave Lila a glare then they walked away
Once the person walked away, Adrien turned to Lila, and placed his hand on Lila's shoulder.
"Are you alright?" Adrien asked
"That person, shouldn't have gone off on you like that. They should have not confronted you like that." Adrien said
Lila carefully took Adrien's hand off her shoulder, then she slowly stood up.
"Thanks for trying to comfort me, Adrien. Lila said as she gave Adrien a sad smile
"If you don't mind I would like to be alone for now." Lila said as she walked off while Adrien stood there
"I'll see you at school, tomorrow then?" Adrien asked, but Lila continued walking away, which made Adrien sigh, as he picked up his bag and also headed home, while Kitsune waited a few minutes until they were both gone, then she walked over to the trash and took the Grimoire out of the trash, where she cleaned the trash that was sticking to off and once she did that, she headed home where she landed onto her balcony and dropped down into her bedroom.
"Reality." Kitsune said as the illusion dissolved which revealed Kitsune.
"Trixx, let's rest." Kitsune said as the magical suit disappeared, and in it's place stood Marinette, who then placed the Grimoire onto her desk.
"Now what?" Tikki asked as she floated over
"Now, we go about as normal like so, and see what will change in the future." Marinette said
"Will, Lila get akumatized after that person confronted her?" Trixx asked
"Possibly, so we'll just wait and see." Marinette said as she looked outside and watch as the citizens went about their daily lives, not knowing Ladybug was watching them as a civilian.
Streets of Paris
After getting humiliated in front of Adrien, Lila walked down the street where she was seething in anger, then she collided into a pole, which her lookup and when she did she growled in anger at seeing the poster of Ladybug
"It's always about Ladybug, it's like the city worships her like she's a god or something." Lila said
"Why can't that be me, I should be worshipped like a god, not Ladybug." Lila said then she threw her purse at the Ladybug poster
"I fucking hate you, Ladybug." Lila said
Hawk Moth's lair
As the window opened in his lair which brought in light, Hawk Moth smiled evilly as he felt Lila's anger towards Ladybug
"A sense of anger towards Ladybug who shouldn't be worship." Hawk Moth said
"I can work this, and maybe they'll finally get the Miraculous I desperately need." Hawk Moth said as he released his akuma, as it flew out the window and out into Paris where it flew towards Lila, where it merged with her necklace
"Hello there, Volpina." Hawk Moth said which made Lila raise her head up as a butterfly mask appeared on her face
