Chapter Text
The silverware clinked somewhat loudly, a rare occurrence during the deceptively simple breakfast. Maids and manservants were tensed around the table, some barely holding their sweat.
It had been minutes after Her Majesty Queen Felicia's attempt to talk, yet it was rebuffed with a hasty cough from her husband.
Still, it was her first-born daughter, Crown Princess Iris Midgar, that broached the topic, albeit with a very, very hesitant tone.
“Alexia-chan, I was hoping—”
“Iris-nee-sama,” the silver-haired girl ominously placed down her fork in warning. “I am disinterested in talking to people who make it their affair to judge the merits of a man who will be the partner of my remaining lifetime without consulting me.”
Everyone in the room flinched, fearing both the insult and the magic that was sure to result from risking her mood.
It was just a light-hearted talk with Sir Zenon, yet a fiancée of his colleague had the gall to humour her acquaintances in a ball a fortnight ago, unaware of Princess Alexia's presence nearby. Lady Ixtra was no longer seen in public, still heard weeping after the brutal discussion that was gracefully erupted at her.
“Alexia-san,” Iris amended, raising both hands in surrender. “It was just a simple joke, nothing...”
She wisely decided to stop reminding her imouto and awkwardly ate her meal, much to the relief of everyone. Iris was the best of the best, but when it came to sheer fierceness, no one could be as half as fierce as Princess Alexia.

Guys, I'm so cooked.
First of all, I'm pretty sure a fellow Japanese reincarnated with me. Fellow countrymen and all that, but they decided to open up a damn mall???? True the transportation had steampunk vibes, but I don't think strapless tops would be here too????? Like I can't begrudge women the comfort of modern clothes, but the aesthetics?!
I'm crying in my room, (metaphorically, don't want Hansel to worry). It hurts my heart, but for the sake of my girls, I'll allow it.
Second of all, uh, I forgot I'm a princess (horrible villainess moment, I know) and I'm like, gonna be a wife and all of that.
Uhm.
...
My fantasies nearly died that moment, like oof!
I crashed out. Not my best moment, but yeah. Veeeeeeeeery inelegant, would not recommend.
But third of all, I! Am! Going! To! School!
It did not enter to my head that I still needed to go to some stupid ahh school. While I do appreciate the pleasant, the beautiful journey academics can be, I dislike sharing it with cheats! Ew, like at least make up some random stuff with your own logic than use a toootally other source, I'd accept random BS than plagiarised BS.
At this rate, the real MVP of my school journey would be magic, not gonna lie.
Ah well, let's lock in, Hikaru.... Wait I need to write a letter to Oriana! Crap I forgot!

He carefully prepared his mistress's uniform. Today was finally the day the Academy would be graced by the presence of Princess Alexia, yet she had already toured the escape routes of the academy grounds with the Dark Knights, a definite awkwardness between a hesitant Sir Zenon and the silent princess.
Hansel couldn't help but chortle at the whole debacle. It was so humourous how everyone thought that she was displeased with the abrupt expectation of a fiancé, even her own sister had to apologise.
Still, it held a deep current of sadness for the man, as it meant that even her beloved onee-sama didn't love her enough to see if the joke would be acceptable. The therianthrope was many things, but delusional was not one of them.
The love he bore for her was not of a suitor longing for a passionate kiss of a beloved, but a devotee worshipping the saviour of his soul, a servant wholly dedicated to his one and only master. And hopefully, a friend who could be talked to when life was difficult.
...
Perhaps he may need to retract his statement after all, he was delusional if the princess saw him as a person worthy of friendship.

“Epsilon?”
“Yes Alpha-sama?”
“Make haste, we will hunt.”
“At His will and desire.”
“Indeed.”
