Slaughterhouse

Summary:

A decade ago, the doors of Playtime Co. were closed for good, and every employee inside vanished. As the only one who walked away that day, you’ve spent ten years thinking of what went wrong.

And now, you finally have an incentive to go back—a chance to find the lost and rectify the catastrophic errors of the past. To fix their mistakes.

To do what should’ve been done.

The factory is no longer a place of joy; it’s a tomb, a slaughterhouse. They built nightmares in those halls, but they forgot one thing: humans tend to be the most monstrous of all. And the one thing more dangerous than the creatures living inside is the butcher coming home to bury them.

Chapter 1: Welcome Back

Chapter Text

PART I

Welcome Back

Log #01

August 8, 1995. That’s the day that everyone I knew at Playtime Co. had disappeared. Having not been there at the time, I was designated the sole survivor of whatever event had transpired. I’ve gone the past decade thinking of this fact constantly. Where exactly did everyone go? What happened to them all? What of the orphans?

What had gone wrong?

For a long time, I’ve been tempted to return to the factory and investigate myself, but never had the justification nor the will for doing so. However, that changes now. I’ve received an anonymous letter containing a vhs tape, but it’s the note itself that concerns me.

“Everyone thinks the staff disappeared ten years ago. We’re still here. Find the flower.”

Underneath the scratchy ink is a drawing of a poppy and bloodstains on the page. It’s all that’s addressed to me, but it’s also all the motivation I need to finally return.

I don’t know who sent me this, nor if I can truly trust them, but I fully intend to find out and finally answer the question on what went down.
