Chapter Text

“At the beginning of time, when there was no up there was no down, there was no side to side. Nothing moved forward or backward, not even time. There was nothing alive only a being unlike you and me and a small seed of light. Her name is Tierra and she is our Mother of all Creation. She was sad and lonely but she cared for this small life in her hands, for she knew what potential it had. With her breath, she expanded the universe far and wide. At the center, she planted this seed and for hundreds of years it grew into a small tree but it would not grow no more. She was missing something that prevented the tree from fully growing, so she decided to create more of herself, the other gods, her children.
From her heart came her eldest daughter, Corona Solaria. She would create stars and bring light to the universe.
From her eyes came her eldest son, Neppitune Oceia. He would move the vast waters, whether it took the form of frozen or steam.
From her womb came her youngest daughter, Flora Inohime. She would bring out the harvest.
The tree was able to grow bigger and blossom, but a new problem arose. The gifts the gods provided for the tree were now causing the tree to dry out or wither on other places. Our Mother Goddess, Tierra created planets around the stars, each different and beautiful.
Earth was named after herself after seeing more life grow than the other planets. There were so many plants and animals that were created and changed on their own to adapt to different parts of the world. The gods bearing witness to this and letting their mother know gave them an idea. Working together, humans were given life. Mother Tierra gave us knowledge by feeding us fruit from the world tree. With that knowledge, humans were able to create communities and agriculture.
However, the darkness snuck into creation and leaked chaos onto the gods' creations. In all good, the gods gave one final gift to man. The talent to wield magic. That magic was strong to fight against all denizens of chaos.
In this world, magic is life and life is everywhere and everything. Each of you has a unique gift and magic class. Yellow and Violet come from Corona Solaria, Orange and Indego come from Neppiune Ocecia, Blue and Red is for Kuro Pheno, and Green is for Flora Inohime.
For the next thousand years, we continue to grow in our magic research following the teachings brought to us by the gods and if you choose to attend this instruction, we will provide you with the best resources available to pursue your magic career.”
The high priest stepped down from the podium and led the group of visitors away from the chapel and into the garden. Many people were excited to awaken their mana and receive their magic staff. None were quiet about being able to go out with the blessings of the gods and go out cleansing the world of the monsters. After all, everyone has magic and therefore, blessings of the gods, just some more than others.
“Feel free to look around at the relics in the great hall just don’t touch anything. They are of great value to our temple and blessings our past heroes have received from the gods. After 30 minutes, we shall return to our tour and continue with our educational studies enrollment. Oh and children… Please refrain from running in the halls. Thank you.”
The people in the room began to look around at the murals and relics that were given to past heroes to fight off demons and evil magic users.
A trio of children about the ages of 8 were looking at the back mosaic depicting all the gods and their creation of the universe.
“Look Sora-kun, Asuma-kun! They are so cool! And the lady there is really beautiful. When I grow up, I’m going to be strong and pretty fighting against the bad guys.” The young girl exclaimed. All children admired the gods and heroes.
The boy far to the side then asked, “If that is true, why did they make her sleep forever? All she did was fall in love. They said that it was wrong. She was of th—”
“What are you talking about?” Asuma asked.
The kid that was once looking up was now looking at them but then quickly turned his head down. “I’m sorry. I have to go. I’m sorry and forget what I said.”
The boy left. He ran out the chapel door before the kids could ask any questions about what he just said.
“He kinda looks like..”
“Hey, Nana!” Sora called out, “Come and look at this mural. It looks so cool!”
For some strange reason, what that boy said left Nana curious. He seemed so sure about what he said. “Coming.”
