Chapter Text
White Lily Cookie stood in front of the Silver Tree. Or at least, what was left of it. Her expression remained concerned as she took small steps towards it. She tried to reach out a hand to touch it, caress it if she really needed to, but stopped short.
She couldn't. It didn't feel right to her.
Ever since the beasts' escape from their so called 'prison', the cookie world was in total chaos. She knew it wasn't entirely her fault, she told herself this countless times in her mind, but it didn't help the guilt rising inside of her.
She looked up at the broken tree then turned her attention far out into the distance. She knew the rest of Beast Yeast was in peril after Elder Faerie's death and knew the other ancients were at great risk.
She held her staff tightly and let out a small determined huff.
"Okay!" She said to herself, "You can do this, White Lily Cookie. All you have to do is go further out into beast yeast and find your counterpart."
She paused before adding, "Hopefully they don't kill you..."
She shook her head in an attempt to get rid of those thoughts. Though she knew how vile the beast cookies could be, she wasn't entirely sure if her worries would turn out to be true or not. But there was only one way for her to find out.
Going to Beast Yeast herself to find out the truth.
This should be easy right? It's not like that other time when she found out the real reason why the witches had baked cookies. We all know where that went...
She shook her head and decided she must go to the Silent Flats at once. She didn't know what would happen there but it wasn't enough for her to fear for her life. She made her way out of the fairy kingdom but had one last good look at the Silver Seal Tree with a look of determination on her face.
"No matter what," She said, half to the Tree and half to herself, "I'll make sure to fix you again."
