Chapter Text
September 9th, 2017. That was the day that Japan had won back its freedom from the Holy Britannian Empire. It was the day that, after a hard battle, the Order of the Black Knights defeated the Britannian military and brought back peace to Japan. And naturally, they are celebrating.
Kallen was walking around the celebration, seeing everyone have a good time. They were dancing, playing, and pretty much just celebrating the victory. She soon went over to Minami, who was standing over to the side.
"Not going to join in?" asked Kallen.
"No. Someone needs to be sober tonight," said Minami.
Kallen just laughed a little at his words.
"I see you're not joining in either," said Minami.
"Call me paranoid, but I just want to have a clear mind in case something happens," said Kallen.
"No, you've got a point. From what I hear, not every soldier in the Britannian army has fled or been captured. Those still around could cause some trouble soon," said Minami.
Kallen nodded at his words. The Britannians were still around, so it was best to be careful. But her mind was soon taken off that when Tamaki showed up to the party.
"Tamaki! Aren't you supposed to be securing the warehouse sector?" asked Minami.
"Yeah. But don't worry, everything got done quickly. So, where's the booze?" asked Tamaki.
Both Minami and Kallen looked at each other and sighed at their comrade's stupidity.

However, not all of the Black Knights were partying. Tohdoh and the Four Holy Swords had arrived at a nearby airfield per Zero's orders. When they arrived there, they were greeted by the sight of Britannian POWs being placed in transport vehicles.
"Wonder where they're going," said Urabe.
"If I had to guess, they're probably heading to some prison we've captured that's been repurposed into a POW camp," said Asahina.
"Ah. That makes sense," said Urabe.
The five made their way inside the airfield. They were greeted by a Japanese man who looked happy to see them.
"Kyoshiro Tohdoh. It is an honor to meet you," said the Man.
"It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Tetsuji Makino," said Tohdoh.
The two men bowed in respect of one another.
"So, I think you're here to see what we've got," said Makino.
"That's why we're here. Zero wants a report about what you've got," said Tohdoh.
"I won't disappoint the Man of Miracles. Come," said Makino.
So, he showed the group around the airfield and the various air vessels now under their command.
"We've captured some Caerleon-class and Logres-class Floating Battleships. I believe the same can be said for the other airfields around the country," reported Makino.
"Are they useful?" asked Tohdoh.
"Yes. None of them managed to take flight before we captured them, so they're fully operational," said Makino.
"Incredible! Now we can fight the Britannians in the air should they come back," said Urabe.
"Not just that. From what I've been hearing, we've managed to take their naval bases. As such, we have some of their navy vessels and Knightmares," said Makino.
"Fighting the Britannians over land, sea, and air. I didn't think this was possible after the Invasion," said Senba.
"And we can all thank Zero for this," said Chiba.
Tohdoh smiled at what he saw. Now, they can fight Britannia on an even footing. This... is excellent news.

Meanwhile, Lelouch was within the Viceroy's Palace. Specifically, he was in the Viceroy's office, looking for any piece of information that he could. C.C. soon entered the room, looking as unenthusiastic as usual.
"You're missing quite a party down there, Lelouch," said C.C.
"I'm not interested. I'm still going through everything on this computer," said Lelouch.
"Interesting. I'd have thought they'd have disconnected us from their system after we won," said C.C.
"That is a sign of concern. My best guess is that they aren't disconnecting because they think they can retake Japan," said Lelouch.
"You think Britannia will attack soon," said C.C.
"It's the only logical thing I can think of. Britannia won't take this loss lying down. They'll attack hard and soon," said Lelouch.
C.C. nodded at her accomplice's words. It made sense considering everything that has been going on.
"So, what's the plan now?" asked C.C.
"For any long-term plans, I need to speak with the Six Houses of Kyoto first. But for now, I intend for the Viceroy's Palace to be the Black Knights' new base for a while," said Lelouch.
"Oh? But what about the Command Vehicle and Ashford Academy?" asked C.C.
"For Ashford Academy, I plan to hand that over to Ohgi's command," said Lelouch.
"Ohgi?" asked C.C.
"He was a teacher, after all," said Lelouch.
C.C. nodded at the point.
"And as for the Command Vehicle, I don't actually know what I'm planning to do with it. I'll have a talk with Black Knights High Command about it," said Lelouch.
C.C. smiles at his words.
