Chapter Text
It was a theater.
One that was massive in size. A theater that was big enough to fit a plethora of people.
The seats were plush, upholstered chairs designed for long-term comfort. They had thick cushions and soothing head support that could make the restless fall into a slumber. The soft theater seats were lined up in a straight line and perfectly apart, with enough space to move.
They all faced the same direction of a massive screen. The size of it was monumental; even when facing an awkward position, one could still see its contents.
Silence lingered in the air until a massive flash of light started to engulf the area. The light started to dim as seconds passed visibly.
After a moment, the brilliance that struck the theater started to converge into multiple humanoid figures.
The people summoned from the light were individuals who had a unique style and outfit.
A massive group of people was summoned onto the section in front of the seats, where there was enough space to fit them. Upon seeing the new, unfamiliar place, some of the people had their guard up.
On the other side of the theater was a pair of Siblings who owned a video store; their eyes hazy, they soon found themselves there.
"What the...Hey, Wise, did you kidnap me for a surprise hangout? I thought you never asked. There's even a big screen." A blue-haired gremlin of a sibling said.
"Belle, I don't think that's the right thing to say in this situation...Some of the people here have this strange aura around them. The one who screams on guard and doesn't come near me." A Wise older sibling said...Noted as his hair was a touch of white
"Yeah, at least...We got some familiar faces here. How come Yixuan Shifu isn't here?" They soon noticed that many of their friends were with them. Some ranged from workers at a Construction Company, Maids and Butlers, Criminals who steal from the rich, Police Officers, and a Biker Gang...A Cunning Poor Gang, and lastly, two military forces, each comprising different squads and sections.
Though the twins noticed the Pair of Manager and Singer were missing.
Before they could find the Stars of Lyra, an approaching Mocking Bird shot towards them.
"Don't worry, Lord Phaethon, I'll protect you with my life." A fancy Fluttering Vivian muttered to the two.
"Now, now, Vivian, there's no need to get so protective...But maybe it's the correct call since we're a theater with such fancy-looking people." A suited man named Hugo Vlad shared the same opinion.
His eyes soon brightened as he spotted a familiar group inching closer.
"Well, well, if it isn't my dear old friend. Decided to come join us in this spectacle." Hugo muttered with a bit of drama.
"It was the most appropriate option considering that we're in a theater filled with seemingly dangerous people...Although it's hard to detect, some of these individuals are on another Level." The gentleman Thiren, Lycaon warned. His senses were never wrong.
"If we're gonna stay here for a while...I'd rather take a Nap in the meantime." A shark girl dressed in a maid outfit slowly slurred her words.
"Ellen, please don't fall asleep on the floor, you'll get your outfit dirty!" Corrin worryingly said.
"Ah, Ellen, before you take your nap, would you like to try some of my Tea...It should give you the proper energy for the rest of today. What about my baked sugar cookies flavored with fish oil!" Another Maid named Rina chimed in.
Mockingbird and the rest of Victoria Housekeeping shuddered at the thought of Rina and cooking in the same sentence.
Their faces shifted as a familiar police officer with bicycle handles on her back and familiar faces appeared.
Vivian and Hugo took a silent stance at the arrival of New Eridu's Public Security. After all, both of them were part of a notorious phantom thief syndicate, so of course they had to keep their mouth sealed, in case anything slipped up.
The arrival of this group as part of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team consisted of the previously mentioned police officer with bicycle handles on her backside for some reason, a rat Thrien who loved to go undercover, an android with a penchant for tea, and a Seth full of passion, hardworking for bringing justice by bashing his enemies with a shield.
"Managers! Are you alright?" Zhu Yuan called out...An officer who had genuine experience riding motorcycles.
"Yeah, we're alright...We were lucky to pop right near some friends of ours, suddenly." Wise crossed his arms in contemplation as he breathed a sigh of relief...It was comforting that his friends and his Sister surrounded him.
"Yup, we're good...Are Seth, Jane, and Qingyi with you as well, Zhu Yuan!" As the gremlin asked that question, Hugo and Vivian gave the Proxies a look.
"Hmm...I did need backup, just in case, and to ensure we don't get into a misunderstanding. Everyone knows of Manager's Secret Identity."
"Zhu Yuan, your wordplay isn't working quite well...You have to throw them off their game first, then reveal that our Managers at Random Play are both Phaeton. See, it's that easy."
"Jane!"
"Ha, ha, ha...Guess cats in the bag! Guess we're getting arrested...Wise, clear my search history," Belle jested.
"Shouldn't I be the one saying that to you, Belle?"
"Ahem...There's no need for those kinds of jokes...You were merely assisting the public as diligent citizens." Qingyi pointed her index finger up as a gesture of goodwill.
"That's correct, Crimson Dyelight, had always been working in helping New Eridu...Obol Squad can vouch for them."
The twins jumped in shock as a wild Soldier 11 suddenly appeared from behind them.
"Did you really have to do that!?" Wise asked.
"It's what Trigger suggested...She said it would be a fun surprise."
Belle turned her gaze to a woman with a visor who waved to them.
"Belle, I am starting to notice a pattern. Most of our friends here are from before we went to Waifei." Wise mentioned.
"Yeah, now that you mention it...That is a strange pattern. If we were in a Gacha Game, you think this would be our Version 1.0 Patch?"
"When did Gacha get shoved in the conversation?"
"If we were to be stuck in that sort of game...Am I allowed to be its Composer, Singer, Sound Designer, and pretty much everything revolving around the experience of one's voice?" A sweet soothing voice cut through the clutter.
A bright, smiling, black-haired lady, dressed as a singer, approached the Proxies, while a blonde, strong, and firm woman followed along.
"Astra, Evelyn. You're here as well! I was wondering where you were." Belle asked.
"I was speaking with a fellow...How should I say it, Peer? She had the most soul-striking voice and hair as fine as crimson wine...Eden was it?" Astra voiced with slight delight in her tone.
"Soul striking enough, for you to talk to her for so long, you forgot how much time passed," Evelyn grumbled.
"Ah, are you jealous, Evelyn?" Astra teased.
"No...I just got a strange feeling from Eden."
"I've been talking to her for a bit, and from what I learn. She doesn't belong to New Eridu or our world, for that matter, and it seems that most of the groups here are from different worlds. Despite being from a different world, it seems that shining stars of the musical world never change."
Most of the New Eridu Crowd stood silent from the revelation...Different worlds?
"Never would I have thought of getting the news of other worlds from a famous singer. What about you, Seth?"
"Don't know Jane, I'd rather have my older brother tell me that news...Wait, on second thought, my parent would be better."
"Wise, you think the other people or crowds of people who look like they're cosplaying are in the same situation."
"The Multiverse theory is real or aliens...." Wise quietly muttered to himself.
Before he could get another word out, another charming voice cut through the air.
In the middle of the theater was a pink-haired lady with elf ears, grabbing everyone's attention. She wore a white top and black shorts with long black stockings, along with a little black shawl with an off-the-shoulder style.
"~Hello, everyone, may I have everyone's attention!"
...
"Lumine!" A blonde Traveler named Aether called out to his long-lost sibling.
"Aether!" The twin called out in response.
The two wrapped their arms around each other. Their warmth spread over their body in a reunion that had last hundred years.
"Lumine! I've missed where you go. Why did you leave me...I've always wanted to hear your answer. Why?" Aether cried in anguish...The only reason he went on that journey across Teyvat was to find the only family he had left.
Wiping Aether's tear, Lumine stared at her brother's face with a hint of confusion.
"Aether...That's what I wanted to ask you as well. You left me when Khaenri'ah was..."
In her memory, she went on that same journey to search for her brother. Mondstant, Liyue, Inzuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Nod-Krai
It was at that moment that, despite the circumstances...Aether and Lumine were both the Traveler, The Outlanders Who Caught the Wind.
Hearing her words, Aether slowly backed away from Lumine and asked one simple question, "Lumine...What is the size of an emergency food?"
"The size of a black hole...She eats everything and goes through my wallet." Lumine answered.
"So... You're not the Lumine, I know," Aether uttered softly.
"And you're not the Aether I know."
Both stood silent in one another.
"Do you want to talk about it...Lumine. Even if you're not my Lumine, you're still somewhat family to me, and I don't think I want to miss the chance to spend time with...You." He crooked.
Lumine couldn't help but have a warm smile linger on her face, "Sure thing...Aether, just like old times, but with a sibling from another...Place."
Timeline, Worldlines, Alternative Universes...Both Aether and Lumine had experience with those sorts of situations from the Sea of Bubbles Worlds. Now this time it was happening to them.
"I don't know where to start...Lumine, I am the one who left you in your world while you left me in mine."
"Yeah. Did your Lumine ever tell you the reason why she went on that Journey?"
"Restore Khaenri'ah no matter the price," Aether answered with a tone of regret.
"And Dethrone the Heavenly Principles and topple the nations of Teyvat." Lumine finished the other half.
"If she went down that Path, I'll do everything I can to stop her...Teyvat is my home now."
"Even if you had to kill her?"
"Lumine, if it comes down to that...Can I even be called her Brother if I can't save my sister from causing a war that threatens Teyvat?"
"Hmm...When the time comes, knock some sense into her, give her a few punches to the face, head, chest, or maybe her stomach. I remember grasping for air whenever he hit me there."
Despite the heavy topic, the Twin Travelers continued to talk...Teyvat, their Journey, the nations, it didn't matter what they talked about as long as they were together; the time they spent didn't matter.
"Ah, Traveler...Why are there two of you here?" A soft-spoken voice came from a white-haired fairy named Paimon. Though her appearance may seem small, she had the appetite of a black hole or a little fellow named Ica...F#t F##k
"Wait, which Paimon are you? Aether or mine?" Lumine asked.
"Paimon doesn't know?... For some reason, Paimon has memories of being with both of you. Its kinda strange! When Paimon first saw both of you, Paimon didn't want to interrupt...Your reunion and the others had the same idea."
Both Travelers shifted their eyes to see some familiar faces from Mondstadt and Liyue. On one side of the corner were the people from the country of wind and freedom: Venti, Diluc, Jean, Klee, Fischl, Eula, Albedo, Bennett, Kaeya, Amber, Lisa, Sucrose, Noelle, Barbara, Mona, and Rosaria.
Next was the group from Liyue: Xiao, Ganyu, Keqing, Zhongli, Hu Tao, Xiangling, Beidou, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Ningguang, Xinyan, and Yanfei.
Though aside from the group, some individuals weren't from those Nations. Childe was standing next to the consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, and Kazhua was right beside his Captain, Beidou.
Seeing the crowd of people, Aether turned his eyes to Lumine.
"Sis, you think they're from your World or my World?"
"Wanna bet on it?"
"There's no need to gamble, from a conjecture of mine...It seems that you're both the Travelers that I know, or we know. The question is, is this the work of the being who brought us here, or my Mother's superior?" A young man with golden blonde hair called out. He was the Chief Alchemist and Captain of the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonius.
"Would your Mom do this sort of thing?" Paimon asked.
"No, she wouldn't, and seeing that there are some unfamiliar and foreign powers coming from around us. I believe this wouldn't be the work of Celestia as well. Mona, did you try reading out a Divination on the area?"
Albedo's question turned to a purple-haired lady wearing the outfit of a divining witch.
"I got nothing. Even without the use of my visions, it should have worked. If only my master of a hag were here. Speaking of which, Grandmaster Jean, did you see little Klee anywhere? I thought she would be with you."
A woman with gray-blue eyes and medium-length gold-blonde hair shook her head. She was currently wearing a classic knight's ceremonial outfit.
"I had to put her in solitary confinement for blasting the mountainside. Thankfully, it was the right decision. She doesn't have to be in this situation. Unfortunately, our weapons and visions are confiscated."
A man with a tanned complexion and navy-blue hair with streaks of lighter blue took out his pocket watch. The Calvary Captain of Favonius took a glance and noticed something odd.
"That's a surprise. It seems that time has stopped."
"Is that so? Venti, do you have any ideas about what's going on? I'll cut your tab if you managed to figure something out. Maybe tales of the Thousand Winds would be of use." A tall, pale-skinned man with red eyes and long scarlet hair tied in a low, messy ponytail called out. He was Diluc, the current owner of the Dawn Winery.
"Oh, that's right! The tone deaf bard definitely has some tales."
Aether and Lumine stared at each other in understanding. The wine-drinking Bard known as Venti was about to be under fire from an onslaught of questions. But how would the Anemo Acheron do so without revealing his identity?
"Master Diluc, what could you possibly mean? I am just a wandering bard who spins tales of the thousands of winds. Although I don't possibly know them, from many tales, Time isn't a concept that is so fickle to bring them to a strange area. Why don't we ask a good friend of mine, Zhongli?"
'He really is passing the blame." Aether and Lumine thought together.
The mentioned gentleman, Zhongli, is a tall, elegant man with fair skin, dark brown hair in a long ponytail, and striking amber eyes with diamond-shaped pupils and red eyeliner. As a consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, he wears a formal, dark brown tailcoat with dragon-scale patterns and a waistcoat.
"Tsk...You reek of wine, old friend. My memory isn't what it used to be, so I may not remember such details of any being."
Before any more words, a sweet-sounding voice from a pink elf got everyone's attention.
"~Hello, everyone, may I have everyone's attention!"
...
Upon entering this strange theater, the being known as Rover noticed a strange person having such a striking similarity to them.
Golden eyes stared at one another as if two cats were gazing into each other's souls
"Is this one of the Grand Architect's tricks...Impersonating me."
"I could say the same thing."
Two figures were standing off against each other, both had striking golden eyes and wore a usual outfit. This is what they wore for the beginning of their journey and what they will be wearing for the rest of it.
They were known as Rover, a being who would traverse the World known as Solaris-3, the third planet from the sun.
One was Male and the other was Female. They felt a connection to one another after all; Resonator Abilities were unique to each individual.
Despite the absence of their Forte...They instinctively knew that both of them were the same individual in a different facet of appearance.
"I didn't think I would look this good as a woman?"
"Same, I didn't think I would look this good as a man."
One of them decided to ask a question, that would know themselves.
"Abby spends about 1 Hour in an all you can eating buffet. Given the cost of an average dish, how much is Abby willing to spend and eat?" He asked.
"None...Because all of our expenses are paid for."
"Who is our favorite lifeguard?"
"Shorekeeper."
"What is the purpose of our Journey, a World that has no involvement in our lives. Are we there to save it because of our home, or is it because we have nowhere else to go?"
"We leave the past behind, as we head towards our shared future. Solaris is our home now. We made countless memories there. Shouldn't we do everything in our power to be there for everyone...Just as no one was there for us."
Hearing her words, Rover felt as if he suddenly had a forgotten sibling he never knew about. His hands reached out to her in a gentle shake.
"A new journey awaits? Brimming with novel sounds."
"Stories, and... fragmented memories."
It was as if they were meeting kindred souls after a long time. Despite being in this strange theater, it didn't feel so lonely.
Four figures from the Black Shores look at the sight with a perplexed expression. A woman with a twisted smile and budding flowers couldn't help but feel a sense of lust engulf her...Two Rovers meant more time together. She couldn't help but imagine it! Being in the grasp of both of them.
A blue-hooded lady looked on with confusion...There shouldn't be two Rovers. The Shorekeeper's Memory was growing fuzzy; she couldn't understand which Rover was hers. She was a tool, but one that didn't mind having two Masters. After all, she came into being because of the one named Rover.
The odd pairing of an unreliable adult and a sensible child started nodding their head.
"Shorekeeper, do you think I could ask for a double salary?" The white-haired man asked. He was wearing a sleek, dark blue/grey outfit, a signature bone flute, stylish sunglasses, and a Black Bloom symbol on his right shoulder.
"Is that the question you should be asking?"
"Welp, when in doubt of trouble, cling to the thighs of your bosses. Also, I am getting a feeling this is gonna be troublesome."
Noticing the three Bloom Bearers, the Rovers quickly moved to make themselves presentable.
"Before we start talking...Which Rover do you know?" He asked
"That is a difficult question to answer...It seems my memory has been altered or possibly tampered with. I see both of you as Rover; there are no differences between the two of you other than gender." Shorekeeper answered
"Whatever the case is. Wouldn't it be so much fun to have two Rovers in our world? It'll be a delight!" Camellya licked her lips with a seductive gaze towards the Rover.
"Before you get your freak on, Camellya, we have to figure out what's going on...Strangely, Encore wasn't brought with us, and I am starting to notice this really is a mature audience." Aalto pushed up his glasses.
"Shorekeeper, can you connect to the Tethys System? Any signs of readings?" She asked.
"None that I can sense. My connection to it has been cut, along with my Forte. I assume that is for the rest of everyone here."
"Hmm, it feels so pleasant but also so nerving, my baby flowers are so quiet," Camellya noted.
"Got no Mist either. Guess I gotta use my good old eyes. It seems we're in a large theater with some other people who aren't from our world." Aalto explained.
"Quite an obvious observation...My senses are reading a foreign energy emanating from these people, one that delves into the elements, another that is in the depths of the imaginary...Music wave lengths? One last one that is quite cancerous."
"Thanks for the input, Shorekeeper."
"We can always rely on her."
Rovers shoot out their praises with a prideful smile, the Second Instance started having a light blush on her face, while Camellya shot an envious expression towards them.
"So is our next plan to regroup with the Jinzhou folks as well? They should be other there." Aalto's gaze was sent towards a collage of people conversing with one another.
The cast from the Border City of Jinzhou were Jianxin, Lingyan, Jiyan, Yinlin, Baizhi, Chixia, Danjin, Mortefi, Sanhua, Taoqi, Yangyang, Yuanwu, Changli, Jinhsi, Zhezhi, Xiangli Yao, Youhu, and Lumi....Along with a Ghosthound from the Worldwide, Calcharo
Although they didn't know why they were brought here, they couldn't just do nothing and sit around.
A striking and mysterious woman with long, vibrant red hair styled into a high bun with a long ponytail was conversing a few words with a tall stonefaced white hair man.
He had a "tired" expression, defined by long, knee-length bluish-grey hair and light blue eyes accented by red eyeliner.
"Any news, Yinlin?" Calcharo asked.
"Same thing. Everyone was brought here from different worlds to this theater. No one knows who the mastermind is."
"Hmm."
"Curious about where some of these people come from?"
"I am, but it's just business. A deal is a deal."
"If you say so. I'll have a talk then with our dearest Rover...That's quite bizzare why are there two of them now?"
The crowd of Jinzhou stopped their talks and approached closer to the pair of Rover and Bloom Bearers.
A composed and reserved woman stood near her Lady, Jinshi. As the Magistrate's bodyguard, it was Sanhua's duty to protect her, and so her right pupil glowed a dim light. Though the light was not what it used to be because of the theater, it could still tell from the lies.
"My lady, it seems that..."
"Indeed, we're in a bizarre situation where there are now two Honored Guests. Still its a pleasure to be reunited with both of you."
Jinhsi is a petite young woman with fair skin, white eyes, and long, heel-length silver-white hair with turquoise strands styled into elegant looped twin tails.
"It's been a while, Jinhsi! This here is my newly adopted Brother." The Female Rover dragged her other counterpart.
"But aren't both of you the same individual? My memories shouldn't have been this blurry."
"My lady, it's simple to assume that they're messing with you." Sanhua cut in.
"Oh, Changli...Hend my call!"
Responding to her voice was an elegant lady with pale skin, salmon-pink hair in a curled ponytail, and fiery yellow eyes.
"What is it that you need, Great Magistrate?" The lady's fan folded up as her eyes scanned the sights of those two Rovers.
"Write my vengeance that our honored guest, Rover, and their sibling shall indulge in my cravings of Loong Buns whenever I ever desire to you in any place or time."
"It shall be done, my Magistrate."
Seeing the jovial atmosphere, more familiar faces started to appear.
"Rover! How has it been? You got any new stories? Yangyang hasn't been able to stop talking about you." The one calling out her friend was a cheerful, energetic young woman with an athletic build, distinguished by her unruly red hair tied in a high ponytail
"Chixia!" Yangyang was a young woman with long black hair featuring feather-shaped white streaks, light grey-blue eyes, and a vertical tacet mark on her forehead. She wears a blue and black dress with a navy beret.
"Other me, don't you think it's strange that only our friends from the beginning of our Journey appeared instead of all of them?" She asked.
"You think there's a pattern to this? I don't see anyone from Rinascita or Lahahi Roi."
"Yeah. Oh, right, I gotta introduce ourselves to everyone."
"Is there any point to that? I am quite certain that people in our group all already know who we are."
"I don't know, but it feels like the right thing to do."
"...Fine."
Before they could, a sweet voice reached their ears.
"~Hello, everyone, may I have everyone's attention!"
...
"Ugh! My head's pounding, did I drink too much? Oh, wait, I am three years old. I am starting to see things now. Firefly, why are you here?" Stelle clutched her head in agony. She was a young woman with silver-gray hair and golden-amber eyes. She wore an asymmetrical black short-sleeved trench coat over a white shirt, a black tight miniskirt, thigh-high boots, and a distinctive thigh garter.
"Oh, the Beauty! The Beauty! So many beautiful people here, Idrila hears my voice as I sing my hymns of melody." A crimson-haired knight shouted his praises to the high heavens.
"What's Argenti doing here?"
"Stelle, you're finally awake! I've been trying to wake you up, but you kept going on and on about something. Honestly, I didn't remember what you were sleep-talking about."
March 7th was a cheerful young woman with short, layered pink and white hair, light blue eyes, and pale skin. She wears a stylized, light blue jacket with blue-pink hair clips, a black collar, and a white skirt.
"What happened? I thought we were on the Express? Is Pom-Pom with us?"
"He's not. I wish he were. So cuddly and warm, but back on topic. We were suddenly transported to this massive theater with some other people, but the wildest thing is that some of the people here were from Welt's Home."
"Earth, right? I think he told us some bits and pieces of it. Calamities, Mecha, and Evil Clown Man. Wait, is that the Stellaron Hunters?"
"I forgot to mention that, they were dragged along here as well. We got Luofu along with their criminals, Herta Space Station, though Herta's Puppet is only here, Belbog, and I almost forgot. Topaz is here as well. Hopefully she doesn't tax us."
"Hmm Taxes. Does she take Trash Money?"
"I don't know, why don't you go ask her, sleep head?"
"Too lazy." Stelle soon got up from the ground and slowly dusted away the grime and dirt. "Where is the rest of everyone?"
"Dan Heng and Himeko are talking with the Stellaron Hunters while Jingliu and General Jing Yuan are there."
"Wow! That sounds like a terrible idea."
"That's what I thought, but it seems their relationship has gotten better with all the reunions and drinking."
"Take me there, March! I gotta see this."
"Chill your jets, Stelle!"
A/N: Anyways, if there are some plot holes, I'll come up with something because I am doing this story for fun.
There are Yuri Ships in this, but it probably won't be the main focus because what matters is Hype Moments and Aura.
Sorry if your favorite character doesn't have any written dialogue, trying to create a proper conversation with so many characters is the most...Wildest thing
