Chapter Text
“Come on Dee whats the worst that could happen?”
“Heavy, We’re in a metal graveyard, theres a kidnapper on the loose, were a bunch of teenagers alone without parental supervision, and I hacked dads tracking device. If something were to happen to us dad wouldn't be able to find us, so yeah. It is a very bad idea.”
Just then Dees phone started to ring again, which was quite odd considering he had just called 5 minutes ago. Shit he was probably suspicious.. damit..
”oh no Dee what do we do?!” Lif was slightly panicking.
”I.. um..ehh..” he fiddled with his pocket till he could grab his phone and accept the call.
…
“ah hello dee, I was just checking in again. Are you still unable to win?”
“Um. Yeah.. I still can’t figure it out. say, what was the reason behind you hanging up the first time? I heard lots of yelling, Im assuming mom got into a fight.” Hes gonna ask, hes gonna ask hes gonna-
“Oh, yes your mother started sparring the musicians, But we are heading home as of now.”
fffuuuuucccckkkkkkkkkkk
”say Dee.. whos winning the match?”
”uh.. Lif..”
glam let out a cheerful hum
”how wonderful! I’ll see you when we get home gooodbye”
”bye..”
..
beep
“Oh man, we are so screwed” heavy was the first to break the long silence, clutching his head as his reddish hair covered his face
So dad and mom are coming home and we are still so far away from the house.
Absolutely wonderful…
With a loud sigh and some thoughts questioning all of his life choices Dee started thinking of a plan to get home quickly. They should take the back way home, avoiding the streets. They have about an hour and a half which should be more than enough time, so if they jump over a few fences find a card game and make it look like they had been at the house the whole time they should be fine.
”let’s try to find our way out of this weird building and-“ Dee trailed off at the weird look heavy was giving him “what? Heavy why do you look like you saw a ghost?”
.. “..w-where is Lif?”
at that remark he looked a full 360 searching for their friend, and oddly enough she was completely gone
”that’s..” he heard a faint crunch of leaves and turned swiftly to his left “shit Is it the nightgruard?” Dee whispered “heavy?” Looking around there was no sign of heavy anywhere… “heavy we don’t have time for- MHMPH” his words got muffled as a damp cloth was forced around his airways, His neck in a chokehold. Kicking at his attacker his legs slapping uselessly against the man. Dark blotches dripped into his vision the more he inhaled, holding his breath seemed to be just as fruitless.
“Careful now, we wouldn’t want to alert the night guard would we?”
with his vision fading and his body going limp his thoughts focused on one simple fact
you should have listened
____________
glam had a suspicion that they had left the house, frankly it was quite obvious due to the glitching green screen. But teenagers will be teenagers, he’ll give them time to make it back to the house and he’ll act like he didn’t notice. Afterall they need their freedom.
The one of the only reasons he hasn’t immediately asked them to come home is he has faith in Dee to make good choices, He wouldn't put heavy or himself in danger.
Besides, if they aren't home when they get back he’d just call dee to ask where they are.
“Dee, heavy, we’re home!”
he called out in a singsong voice to let them know that he had arrived and would be checking on them, before dropping off his keys and heading up the stairs to knock on the kids door.
Slightly surprisingly there was no response, he would have thought they would have been home by now… He’d told them they’d be returning over a hour and a half ago.
he opened the door to see dees phone laying on the bed, what he had been using to mess with his tracker presumably. The sun was setting so it would be dangerous to be out this late.. surely they would be on their way back by now…
they should have been home by now.
Glam decided to give Dee a quick call.
…to no response..
now he was worrying. It’s unlike Dee to deny a call and even more unlike him is to completely not notice one. to be sure he called his phone 3 more times, All to the same outcome….
.. Maybe Dee had lost his phone..
anything could have happened so he decided to call heavy, since he's so obsessed with his twitter he’d most likely has his phone on him to upload pictures. But much to glams ever growing dread it also yielded no response….
By now his smile has completely faded to a look of worry shown with a thin line and scrunched brows
they were most likely in danger, something must have happened within the hour and a half, now two hours since they had last talked… His stomach started churning uncomfortably with this knowledge.. mostly because there had been reports of 2 missing people within the last month just within this area.. most recently a young woman around 25 years of age went missing in an abandoned building just 2 days ago.
it wasn’t to hard to piece together what probably happened, since there was only 3 plates eaten off of liv was the only person who showed up. Likely upseting heavy, and Dee probably agreed to adventure in the metal graveyard heavy has been talking about recently.
would they even be there now? It’s been so long since he last could reach them
…
he'd better tell Vicky about this.
….
”THE FUCK YOU MEAN THEY ARENT HOME?!”
”look, Vicky. I know this is bad, but. We have a lead of where to look-“ he opened twitter on his phone and scrolled to heavy’s page. “-Heavy posted this picture a couple hours ago, it shows a tower within the metal graveyard.” Glam absentmindedly rubbed at his cuff after explaining. Even he sometimes found it hard to remain calm
“GLAM! DONT WE HAVE FUCKING TRACKERS FOR THIS FUCKING REASON?!?” At this point Victoria was pacing back and forth screaming incoherently, she wasn’t mad at glam per se, nor the children. She was mad at the fact that her crotch goblins had probably been kidnapped, and just a word of advice to said kidnapper. You should sleep with one eye open for the rest of your sad life because if you remember what she did to those guys in the 3rd episode times it by ten and you’ll see your fate.
it was at this moment that glams smile returned, all too wide and stiff trying to force the cheer back into his voice. One that didn’t quite reach his eyes, leaving a hollow expression on his face.
“We should start looking, I’ll grab my pepper spray and flashlight. You grab your brass knuckles”
_____________
When his senses returned the first thing he felt was the restraints on his arms… second was he had been tied to a chair and gagged… opening his eyes he saw a blurred figure standing in front of him
”well.. looks like sleeping beauty decided to finally grace us with his presence” a gravely voice rang in his ears as the man spoke
”took him damn long enough” a second much smoother voice spoke “I thought you actually killed him for a second”
As he looked to his left and right he saw heavy and liv tied up as well
“We should go get him now that one of them has awoken” the first voice spoke again
”aye, hes the one we’re doing this whole stunt for. Which is crazy on its own, who would pay so much just to get a couple of random kids? He said it didn’t even matter who we got he just wanted to test out one of his new ‘toys”
“money is money.” The second replied
”fair enough, it pays enough for us to be set for years” with that the men hobbled up the stairs of the ‘basement?’ They were in.
moments later heavy woke up and reacted much like you would think a restrained teen would, lots of muffled screaming and squirming. But after some time he realized it was pointless and decided to cope with his fate by staring at the floor.
but inevitably they ended up waiting…
As the hours slipped by…
at some point dees arms and legs started to feel numb, and he wondered idly if the men would come back.
lif woke up at some point too..
but it’s not much of a difference seeing as they can’t communicate..
..
would he have been able to avoid this..?
would none of this had happened if he had just stayed home?
..
creak…
..
dee was knocked out of his thoughts by a creaking overhead, and slight shuffling noises as somebody made their way down the steps
he braced himself for the kidnappers to return but to his shock puffy blond hair made its way into his view
“Kids!” Glam sounded so relieved yet horrified to see them here, and soon he was wrapped in a tight hug right after heavy
“..let’s get you three back home ok? Vicky is outside we decided to split up to try and find you”
Quickly please
”..these restraints seem rather thick..” glam fiddled with the thick rope “ill have to try and find a knife somewhere around here...”
.. he tried to look through the drawers in the room to find a knife or at the very least something sharp but it seems there was somehow nothing within the large basement
as he opened drawer after drawer hoping to find even one shard of glass, a shadowed figure approached behind him holding some kind of taser. “MHPH” “MHMPH-“
Dee struggled against his restraints trying to yell, to warn him, to do something..
glam looked up towards Dee eyes widening with realization a second too late and before he could react
_____________
White hot agony shot through the back of his neck and spread like a web of heat through his entire body, making his whole frame go ridged, twitching with each spasm. Unable to even let out a strained cry
his vision dotted with hues of black around its edges and Eventually His legs buckled as he collapsed onto the hard concrete floor, sharp wet pounding pain dripping from the side of his skull and-
_____________
Dee couldn’t help but flinch at the wet crack that echoed through the room when concrete met flesh and bone
why hadn’t he just stayed home?
Heavy let out a strangled sob through his gag next to him
Im sorry… you deserved a better birthday than this heavy
“Well let’s hope this serves as a lesson to the rest of you, we wouldn’t want to end up damaging your pretty little brains” the newer man shot a disgusted glance at glam before motioning to the other 4 who made their way into the room
“Tie him up, this is why we have 2 extra headsets”
Headsets?
The man seeming to sense the confusion spoke
“Ah, yes. I see they haven’t told you my use for yall yet?.. well theres no fun if I just tell you is there? Hmm? But I will say Im not gonna kill yall, theres no need to be so tense”
At that heavy seemed to ever so slightly relax, which was a bad idea. Cause even if they don’t plan to kill them that doesn’t really mean they were safe.
“Hey boss.. theres a redhead on the cameras outside, she hasn’t spotted us yet but she has brass knuckles. Should we try to restrain her?” The first asked
“Mm” their kidnapper simply hummed in agreement.
“We have enough headsets, i suppose that would be the mother. Correct?” He tilted his head toward Dee at that last statement. Flashing his shit eating grin directly infront of Dee’s face, his breath reeking of whisky.
“Well?” When Dee didn’t give an answer the tall man stood up and walked over to glam
“I should be more clear with you.” He opened his coat and pulled out a silver hush-puppy “if you don’t answer me when I ask a question-“ he paused and positioned the gun against glams skull “he pays the price…”
next to him heavy froze in his seat but Dee barely registered it, he just stared at the metallic gun pressed against his fathers cranium. Knowing at any moment it could go off
”I know you’re smart enough to understand what I’m getting at here.” His fingers brushed over the trigger, caressing the cold metal between his digits. “Here and now Dee, you must make a decision. Answer, or he-“ pressing the barrel harder against glams head.
“-bites the dust..”
..
”is that your mother?” The man asked again, something akin to insanity flashing in his eyes
he didn’t want to let them know she was his mother but he would never want his father to die despite their disagreements….
im sorry..
With a defeated sigh Dee reluctantly gave a stiff nod.
A hysterical laugh bubbled up in the man’s chest “Oh this will be fun”..
“It’s perfect really. since we have the whole family its likely nobody will come looking for them.. afterall who would look for a bunch of freaks” he let his blond hair spill over his face, lowering the gun back to the ground.
“What about the black haired one? Shes not part of their family” the third spoke with a barely hidden sneer
With a huff the man continued speaking “she isnt, but the relations with her family are strained at best. Besides, shes already wrong in the brain. She won’t be missed.”
That very sentence made his blood boil, how dare they? Wrong in the brain? What do these no good dirty kidnappers know about her? …
“hmm.. well we shouldn’t keep the pretty lady waiting should we? Granted our meeting may be less than civil due to her size and brass knuckles we aught to make it up to her by being swift, right?”
