Chapter Text
What's that old saying? Sex, drugs, and rock and roll? Something like that. Some bands chase after that. Some start out aiming just for that. For a young Unovan woman that wasn't quite the case.
Her head was groggy when she got up. It wasn't her usual time of waking up, but much later well past noon. She moved her leg only to bump into something, no, someone. Roxie looked over to see the nude figure next to her. It was Rosa, fast asleep and covered with sweat and purple lipstick marks. Then everything came back to her. They fucked. Roxie had sex with her close friend less than a week after she'd come back to visit.
Let's turn back the clock a bit.
It was like any other day. Roxie would mentor the new staff members of her pokemon gym staff at the start of the day and then when her shift ended she used her free time to prepare for an upcoming show. That was the plan. An unexpected visitor would change things a bit. With two albums under their belt Koffing and the Toxics had legit shot at touring and playing beyond just the town they grew up again. Not today, however. It was another home town show much less stressful than all the shows to come. It was during the midway point of their practice session when they got an unexpected visitor.
The loud blaring 3 instruments on a centre stage made it impossible to hear anything else. For a time, Roxie got lost in her music. Then she say something that broke her focus. A security guard was arguing with someone. The music stopped and Roxie set down her bass to see what the problem was.
Billy and Jo were confused. “Whats up Rox?” Billy, their her raven-haired guitarist asked. She found Roxie's sudden instance on stopping odd. “What's up?” Asked Nicky, their tall drummer asked. “Who the hell is that?” He asked seeing an obscured figure arguing with the guard. “Wait is that..?” “For the last time lady, we're closed!” A large man yelled at a young woman. Roxie approached the two. “What the problem? Wait, Rosa!?” She quickly noticed the stranger, a familiar brunette woman who rushed at her for a hug. “Holy shit, when did you get here?” “You know this woman? And wait, Rosa, like, the league champion?” The large man asked. “Yeah, Mark. She's alright. She's an old friend from Aspertia.” Mark sighed. “If you saw so.”
It was a pleasant following few days. The stress of performing new material to a live crowd that had bothered Roxie and her band mates for sometime felt almost non-existent to their singer and bassist. It had been a good while since Rosa had come back, but she and Roxie maintained frequent contact. Billy and Nicky were never as close to Rosa and Roxie, but her presence was a welcome one. Nicky, ever the cocky one, immediately challenged Rosa to pokemon battle. Much like their last battle 5 or so odd years ago he was swiftly defeated. She was the region's champion, after all. Billy was comparatively more level-headed around the girl. She could care less about her champion status was more curious over how Roxie acted around her.
It was no secret that they were close friends.
Roxie had visited her about 3 months ago, but Rosa's surprise visit seemed to do a lot for her mood. Though her choice of words was puzzled Billy and Nicky both. Half the time it was galpal talk and banter. The other made her bandmates think they two might have been actively flirting. The two couldn't quite tell. Not yet anyway. The many poison pokemon that loitered the Virbank gym seemed to welcome Rosa. Scolia, Roxie's own scolipede in general seemed to be especially welcoming of her. Much like Roxie's bandmates the large bug pokemon took immediate notice to how upbeat Roxie was due to Rosa's presence.
