Chapter Text
Aaron goes through the files Garcia made for him. Aaron has been wanting to find a nanny, but Haley's sister, Jessica, told him not to worry about it. Now she's moving to another state for a better job, and he has to find a nanny quickly.
So far he’s whittled down the pile to just 3 files. The first one is Samara Casey, a college student who needs a job to pay for college. While she is a good choice and has experience, she can't be a live-in nanny, so she's out. The next is Katie Olsen, who can be a live-in nanny but unlike Samara, she has no experience or even child education. And according to Garcia was just fired for poor performance.
The last one, the only male candidate, Harrison Potter-Black. He has a degree in childcare, is CPR and First Aid certified, and has even taken every course recommended to be a nanny.
Aaron at first only wanted a female nanny but decided to give him a chance. He puts in the number and waits for someone to answer it. “Hello?” A British voice says from the other end of the line.
“Hello is this Harrison Potter-Black?”
“Yes, how can I help you?”
Aaron starts to fidget with his pen as he talks, “This is Aaron Hotchner. You put in an application to be my live-in nanny. I am calling to set up an interview in person and to see if my son is comfortable with you.” He knew that sounded overprotective, wanting to watch and see how his son reacts to this man, but he can’t help it.
The man hums in agreement, “That sounds perfect but before we agree on a place I want to tell you I do have a son. Would that be a problem?”
“Not at all.”
“Okay then how about we meet at Ledroit Park on the 12th around 1 pm? I’ll bring enough food for everyone so we can have a picnic.”
Aaron starts writing everything down on his notepad, “Sounds good. I’ll see you then.” He hangs up and just stares at the date, time, and place.
He just hopes this works out otherwise he doesn't know what he’ll do.
