Chapter Text
Two days had passed and Hoseok still couldn't believe the interaction he had with Jungkook in his studio. That day, after his sanity returned, Hoseok took out his phone and sent several messages to Namjoon, cursing his friend with names he didn't even know existed, cursing even his fifth generation. After doing so he threw himself on the counter groaning and grumbling from embarrassment. Jungkook must have thought he was a weirdo. And then he laughed, because Jungkook talked to him, Jungkook smiled at him.
His stomach always made these funny turns when he remembered. And now there, sitting on the carpet with his back to the bed with a box in front of him, Hoseok wondered what situation he had gotten himself into.
The packages were neatly arranged in the box, one larger than the other. Hoseok didn't know which feeling to prioritize when he thought that Jungkook will see them all. Some were nice, some were too silly. Before he could give up and set everything on fire, Hoseok closes the box and takes it to his room to wait for Namjoon. Two packages are left on his bed.
Ten minutes later Hoseok hears the sound of his doorbell ringing.
- Hello, my dearest friend. - Namjoon greets him with the most cynical smile Hoseok has ever seen. He wants to slap hard that little face.
- Flattering me won't get you anywhere.
- Oh. - Namjoon fakes a sad face. - Jin-hyung said that flattery would get me everywhere, was he lying?
- Stop it with the jokes and get in. Before I decide to throw you and this box out the window.
- No violence. - Namjoon enters with his hands raised and smiling at his friend's drama. - I won't be able to stay, I'll just drop this off at Jungkook's and go meet Yoongi-hyung.
- Then go soon, ‘cause I'm really considering not delivering anything. - Hoseok comments, gnawing the corner of his thumb.
- I'm sure he'll love everything, Hobi.
- You don't even know what it's all about. Ugh! this is embarrassing. - He grumbles, covering his face and plopping down on the couch next to the box.
- He always loved everything you gave him, it could be a little candy and he'd be jumping up and down with the biggest smile on his face, he just loved everything because it came from you. I don't think that has changed.
- You speak very aptly about things you don't know.
- My intuition is usually very good, i trust on her.
- Huhum...
- Well, I'm off. See you later Hobi.
- See you. - He got up to open the door for Namjoon and closed it as soon as his friend left.
He leaned against the door and sighed loudly. Hoping it would open a hole in the floor and swallow him.
(...)
- Namjoon? What are you doing here?
- Hello Kookie. - Greeted Jungkook entering and placing the box on the floor beside the door. - I came to drop this off for you, Hoseok asked.
- A-are those the gifts? - He asked with his eyes wide open looking at the box.
- Yep. I asked why he didn't come to give them to you himself, but he said he didn't know where you lived and didn't have your number either, I offered to give him your number, but he said you didn't give him your number because you didn't want him to have it, which I thought was silly, but he preferred it that way so... there you go. I have to go. - He said it all at once and then turned to leave again.
- O-ok. Thanks, Hyung. - Jungkook replied as Namjoon came through the door.
- Bye Kookie, have fun. - He smiled and went back to the elevator.
Jungkook closed the door and stared at the box on the floor.
- I'm going to need a drink for this. - Spoke to himself and went to his kitchen.
He took the bottle and a stemless glass of wine and put both on the coffee table in front of his sofa. He went to the box by the door and picked it up, taking it to the rug where he sat down with the box beside him and took a sip of the wine before opening the lid.
- Wow, there are some big ones here. - Remarked as he saw wrapping like a box and another longer one. - Let's start with this one. - Said to what he saw was a book, which had only a bow around it.
He smiled when he noticed that it was by an author he loved. The writer was not well known, but Jungkook was one of his admirers. As he opened the book he noticed a small note falling out.
"I remember how you used to spend hours reading things by this author, and then come and comment on everything to me. And I would listen to everything, because I loved watching you talk about everything you loved."
Jungkook's heart jumped violently at that moment. He took the entire glass of wine before refilling it and picking up the next package.
The wrapping was a small bag and as he opened it he saw another folded note, and a pair of bracelets. The accessories were made of mini polka dots, one was black polka dots and had a silver rabbit pendant, the other was brown polka dots.
Jungkook smiled and put both on his left wrist before reading the note.
"My psychologist told me to look for something to do with my hands to distract myself. For some reason I chose to make handmade bracelets, and i made these for you. I think you would like them."
Hoseok had a psychologist? Was it during the time when Namjoon said that Hoseok got really bad after breaking up with him? His chest tightened at the thought that Hoseok even needed professional help to get better. It must have been very hard for him.
Sighing he picked up the next package.
It was a jacket. Custom made by Hoseok by the way. There were several designs on it and Jungkook smiled when he saw the phrase "Rather be dead than cool" on the back of the jacket. He used to say that a lot when he was younger, he had even a tattoo of that phrase on his arm. And Hoseok remembered.
- Doesn't this one have a note? - He shook the package, but nothing fell out. He reached into his pockets and smiled when he felt something in the left breast pocket of his clothes.
"I was playing designer with Jiwoo-nonna. She needed to do this assignment for her fashion college and called me to help her. I think it looks cool don't you? Nonna was angry because my pieces turned out better than hers. What can I do? It's a talent of mine."
Jungkook had a huge smile on his face as he read. He missed Jiwoo. His ex-sister-in-law was one of his favorite person in the world, and he feels bad for being away from her. He picked up his jacket once more and brought it up to his nose. He didn't know if it was his head playing tricks, but he could have sworn he smelled Hoseok's perfume there.
His next choice was a thin, square shaped package. When he opened it he saw a CD of the band Coldplay. The note was on the front so he opened it.
"I found it on twitter, this girl was selling it and remembered you. She swore the autograph was original. Well... I have no way of knowing if it really is, but I bought it anyway. I think you deserve it more than I do, since you were the one who introduced me to the band. And the nice thing is that have the autograph on the album that has our song on it. I mean, it was our song, but anyway... I wanted to buy it and it's a shame I can't give it to you."
Jungkook only realized that he was crying when he tried to read the autograph on the CD cover and everything was blurred. His gaze automatically went to the tattoo on his arm and his crying only intensified. He picked up the glass and took a few more sips, he must look pathetic now, crying while drinking a glass of wine. If he kept this up he wouldn't be able to get to the end of the packages without bursting into tears. He hoped that the autograph was from the band, it would be nice to have the signatures of the men's in the band that were practically the soundtrack of his relationship with Hoseok.
He opened the next package and there was a medium-sized wooden box. When he opened it Jungkook thought that universe had to be playing with him. Two little dolls were hugging each other, one with red hair and the other with black hair, both of them spinning while the melody of "yellow" played in the background. Being able to control his crying did no good, because he cried again. He lost count of how many times he turned the contraption on the side of the box to hear everything again. Until he remembered the note.
"I met this girl at the tattoo course I was taking with my friend Jimin. She said her dad made these music boxes. I didn't think twice about asking her to make that one. I specified how I wanted it, and I thought the result was beautiful. You would have too."
No one could blame him for drinking more than half the wine while repeating the song for maybe what...five more times?
The big box was a shoe. A heavy black sneaker, and Jungkook smiled. It was the style he loved.
"I saw it in the storefront and it reminded me of you. Everything reminds me of you, actually. It's been so many years, but you are still a constant in my thoughts. I wonder if you will ever leave them. But honestly? I don't want you to go."
Jungkook had already given up trying to stop crying so he just moved on.
He managed to smile in the midst of his crying. The Iron Man Funko was extremely cute. Jungkook already had one, but not like that one. He would be more than happy to add this to his collection.
" Jimin is also crazy about Marvel, and he forced me to go with him to this animation fair. I saw this big-headed doll and couldn't help but buy it. I wonder if you are still crazy about Iron Man. I believe you must have cried for hours non-stop when he died in the last movie. And I would have hated that, because I can't stand to see you cry. "
It was scary the way Hoseok knew him. Jungkook thinks he must still be the person who knows him the most in the world. Even with all these years apart.
The painting was a portrait of him. It was in black and white and as he brought the painting closer to his eyes, Jungkook realized that the entire drawing was done with his name. Thousands of "Jungkook" across the canvas in Hoseok's handwriting formed his face.
Once again he found himself impressed by Hoseok's talent. It was insane. And beautiful.
- For heaven's sake. How did he do that? - His big eyes gleamed with admiration as he watched every corner of that painting.
"All that's in my head is your face and your name. I miss you so much. This was the way I found to externalize my feelings and thoughts towards you. Happy birthday, bunny. I hope you are well, that you are better than me. I love you always and forever."
The bottle of wine had run out and Jungkook thought it best not to open another. It was already a mess enough.
He held his breath as he opened the last gift. The tiger flower was inside a glass dome. Alive and beautiful. The flower from his birthday. He also had it tattooed on his arm.
"My friend Taehyung took a trip to Mexico, and there he met a man who put flowers in bubbles. I asked him to make this one for me, I remember how you loved the flower from your birth. Tae said it could last up to three years. I remembered the movie Beauty and the Beast that I watched a few months ago, with that actress from Harry Potter that you loved. Bty that movie made me think a lot, because... the girl fell in love with her kidnapper? it was like Stockholm syndrome? I don't know, but we would have spent hours debating about it. I am sure. "
Jungkook smiled with the end of the note and felt an immense need to see Hoseok. He wanted to hug Hoseok so tight, and never let go. Because at that moment Jungkook realized that he had forgiven Hoseok. He felt at that very instant that a weight was lifted from his back, and he sighed with relief. His cry was now one of relief. He loved Hoseok. Deep inside he always knew that he never stopped loving the other.
Hoseok was the love of his life and there is nothing Jungkook could do to change that. And he didn't want to change. That's the point. He just wanted Hoseok. To hold Hoseok. To hug and kiss Hoseok. To love him.
Everything that happened was a shame. The time they lost was too long. But Jungkook didn't want to waste any more time, didn't want to keep the hurt and hold a grudge. At no time did Hoseok want to hurt him, it had never been his intention to make him suffer. And damn it! Jungkook loved that man. With all his being. And he didn't want to stay another minute away. He would throw his pride in the trash and go after the only person who could make him totally happy again. Jungkook needed his other half. And soon.
But as he was getting up, something came into his mind. He sat back down and counted the gifts in front of him.
- One, two, three... nine. Wait, nine? - He asked himself. - But weren't there supposed to be eleven?
Were there really only nine? Namjoon said there were seven when he found the packages in Hoseok's closet, which said that four Christmases and three birthdays had passed. There were nine presents there. Had Hoseok stopped buying in the past year?
Hoseok had outgrown him, and stop buying the gifts was the way to prove it? No, it couldn't be that. Jungkook saw the way Hoseok looked at him. He refused to think about it.
Jungkook needed to see Hoseok.
With a single message he put on his shoe and left the house.
To Joonie:
Hyung send me Hoseok's address.
(...)
Hoseok was creating several scenes in his head. Imagining what Jungkook's reactions would be to each gift he opened. He imagined him hating everything, imagined him finding it silly, imagined him finding some of it strange. That was how it was with everything, Hoseok thought too much about things that haven't even happened yet, he liked to suffer in advance. I mean, he didn't like it, but his mind did it automatically, so he was now at home martyring himself, thinking Jungkook might be in his apartment while smiling at his face.
Those gifts were important to him. Somehow it made him feel close to Jungkook's memories. And to think that Jungkook might not like something made him nervous and anxious. Damn Namjoon!
He tried to distract himself by cleaning the apartment, but it wasn't very dirty in the first place so he finished everything too quickly. He decided to grab his tablet and continue creating new artwork for his new portfolio of more realistic drawings. He was just finishing the first one when his intercom rang.
He was a little surprised. He wasn't expecting anyone and it was already eight o'clock at night.
- Hello? - He asked when answered the call.
The other side remained silent and Hoseok found it even more strange, he was about to put the phone on the hook when he heard a sigh.
- Hmm... it's me. Jungkook.
Hoseok almost dropped the phone from his hand with surprise. It was Jungkook. What was he doing there? How did he know where he lived?
- J-jungkook?
- Yes, may I come up? I wanted to talk to you. - Jungkook's voice was serious and it made Hoseok nervous.
Did he really dislike something and was there to make that clear? Or worse, had he come to return the gifts?
- Sure, go on up, it's the seventh floor, apartment 13.
- Thank you.
Hoseok took a few deep breaths, trying to control the fast beating of his heart. His hands were starting to sweat and he tried his best not to bite his nails.
He jumped in fright when he heard his doorbell ring and went shakily to answer the door.
Jungkook was standing there, hands in his pockets, hair tied up in a sloppy bun, and his eyes looked a little red, as did his nose.
- Hi.
- Hi. - Hoseok replied completely unresponsive. Until he remembered that they were still at his door and stepped aside for Jungkook to pass. - Come in.
Hoseok smelled the soft scent of clean clothes as Jungkook walked past him. He took another deep breath and closed the door. At least he didn't bring anything with him, that was good enough.
- Sorry to show up like this.
- It's okay, I was just surprised, I didn't know that you know where I live. - Hoseok says, playing with the sleeve of his shirt.
- I didn't know, i asked Joonie-hyung for the address, i hope it's okay.
- No, no problem at all. Hmm... Do you want something to drink? Water, juice?
- Juice, please.
- Okay, you can sit down, make yourself comfortable. - Hoseok says as he goes to the kitchen.
Reaching the other room he rests his hands on the counter and lowers his head while inhaling and exhaling.
- Come on Hoseok, and try not to mess it up again. - He nods, giving himself a little more courage and goes to the refrigerator. He pours two glasses of juice and goes back to the living room.
Jungkook was sitting in one corner of the sofa and looking around, those big, curious eyes that Hoseok loves. He had taken off the sweatshirt he was wearing and Hoseok stumbles a bit at what he just saw.
- Wow, is everything okay there? - Jungkook asks after helping him to balance himself so as not to spill the juice glasses.
- Y-yes, yes. I just tripped over the carpet. - Jungkook was wearing the bracelets that Hoseok had made for him. His heart almost burst out of his chest when he recognized the accessories. So he liked it? Hoseok hoped so. - Here. - Handed the other a glass and went to sit in the other corner of the sofa, preferring to leave a space between them so that Jungkook wouldn't be uncomfortable.
- Thank you. - He took half a drink before leaning over and placing the glass on the coaster on the coffee table. Hoseok did the same.
- Is this about the gifts Namjoon delivered for you today? - Hoseok asked after becoming more anxious that Jungkook hadn't said anything for a few minutes.
- Yes.
- I apologize if anything upset you in any way. It was not my intention. - Hoseok was starting to get a little desperate. Jungkook's face didn't look happy, and it made him tense.
- Nothing upset me, there's nothing to apologize for. - He replied and then turned around on the couch, sidling up to face Hoseok and watched as the older man sighed with relief, lowering his shoulders as if to take a load off.
- Okay, all right.
- I love it, Hoseok. - Jungkook smiled slightly as Hoseok twisted his neck quickly to look at him, his face surprised. - Loved them all. Thank you for them.
- Really? You really liked them? - Jungkook only nodded.
- My favorites were the music box and the flower.
- Oh... those are my favorites too. - He answered softly as he hid his smile by looking at his hands. He was so happy that Jungkook liked everything.
- But I loved them all. Including this one. - He said, shaking his wrist with the bracelets.
- Ah, that's why i tripped over them before, recognized them, and was surprised to see you wearing.
- Ah, yeah? - He smiled and was accompanied by Hoseok. - They are beautiful, thank you for them.
- I had fun making.
They stayed a moment longer without saying anything. But this time Hoseok was calmer.
- But Hoseok... - He started to speak, and Hoseok turned to face him and saw Jungkook wrinkling his eyebrows, thoughtful. - Namjoon-hyung said that you buy for each of my birthdays and for Christmas. - Hoseok turned away as he felt his face heat up with shame. Damn Namjoon! - And he said that when he saw you had seven, and you only gave me nine.
Hoseok closed his eyes when he understood what Jungkook was asking.
- There should be eleven, right? If my calculations are correct. Or did you stop buying for a year?
He would not lie to Jungkook. But he felt his anxiety growing at the thought of given what was missing to him.
- You are right. There are eleven.
- So... where are the other two missing? - Jungkook asked with genuine curiosity.
- They are with me. But... I don't know if i should hand them over.
- Why not? - He asked hurriedly as he dragged his body on the sofa, approaching Hoseok.
- Hmm... I don't think you need to see it, Jungkook. It's personal.
- But wasn't it for me? - Jungkook was restless, feeling that he needed to see these two missing presents.
- Yes, but I-
- Please, Seokie. - Jungkook murmurs in distress and Hoseok feels his breath short when he hears the way Jungkook called him.
That was the way Jungkook had called him when they were younger, and he hated that someone else called him that too. He said that only him could call his boyfriend that, no one else. He missed hearing that so much.
There, Hoseok knew that he would give anything Jungkook asked of him.
- I-I'll get it. - He stood up and headed for his room, but managed to hear Jungkook whisper a "thank you".
The letter and the small box were on the table beside his bed, and with trembling hands Hoseok took them both. His gaze went to the letter and he considered whether or not to hand it over. He wrote it more for himself than for Jungkook, after all he wasn't really going to hand it over.
Sighing, he returned to the living room. Jungkook was sitting with his legs bent over the couch. He raised his eyes when he noticed Hoseok standing there looking at him, his eyes went to the older man's hands, and he saw a green envelope and a small black box. He noticed that Hoseok's hands were shaking slightly, he felt bad for forcing the other to hand over the gifts even though he could see how uncomfortable he was with it. He would apologize for his selfishness later, but his chest was clamoring to have those packages with him.
- Here. - Hoseok handed both to Jungkook, who held the objects and then looked at him.
- Thank you. Really. - Hoseok just nodded and decided that he didn't want to see Jungkook's reactions while he read that letter.
- I'll wait on the balcony until you are finished.
- Okay.
Hoseok opened the balcony door and left it half-opened. He sat down on the couch there and watched the night.
Jungkook decided to open the envelope first. He took a deep breath and started to read.
"Hello Jungkook. How are you? I hope with all my heart that you are well. And happy.
My psychologist gave me this letter as an assignment. "Write down on a piece of paper everything you would like to say to Jungkook, externalize everything you feel on a piece of paper" is what she said, so here i am. I don't really know where to start. I'm not good with words, you know. But I'll try.
First of all i need you to know that i never wanted to hurt you, Jungkook. I never wanted to be the reason for your pain. I really didn't know what to do when i heard your conversation with Namjoon. I am a coward and that was the only thing i thought i could do. But i knew that if i had tried to talk to you about it, to ask you to go, you would have refused and i would have accepted, because i did everything you wanted. You always had me in the palm of your hand. So I couldn't give you the chance to change my mind, so i did that.
Jungkook was already crying again. And he didn't think he would stop anytime soon .
Today i know that i was wrong, and regret bitterly what i did. Because i miss you so much, Jungkook. So much. It's like a part of me was ripped out when Namjoon said that you were gone. I feel empty without you by my side. Everything seems to have lost its color, nothing is the same without you with me. And i hate myself so much for having ruined what we had. I'll never forgive myself for what i did. For losing you. But i still need to ask you.
Forgive me, Jungkook. Forgive me for not listening to you. Forgive me for hurting you. Forgive me for being this coward who always takes the easy way out. You deserved so much more than that from me.
He took the sweatshirt he had placed on the back of the sofa and hid his face there to muffle the sound of his sobs. He needed a moment to control himself or else he wouldn't be able to finish reading.
They hurt each other so much. Hoseok made a lot of mistakes, yes. But Jungkook felt he could have done more. He could have broken into Hoseok's house and demanded the truth. He shouldn't have easily accepted as soon as Hoseok didn't want to see him. But he was disappointed, hurt, and having Hoseok avoid him hurt even more, so like Hoseok he chose what seemed easiest and went to the other side of the world.
He pulled the cloth away from his face and saw the wet stain it left on his clothes. He leaned over the table and took a sip of his juice before going back to reading.
My psychologist says i blame myself too much. But it's my fault, isn't it? I don't understand why she says instead that I should take it easy on myself, because even though I didn't mean to hurt you, I still hurt you.
I just wanted the best for you, and I think you should be doing fine. You must be top of the class, I'm sure of it! I hope my stupidity was worth something. I'm just sorry i lost you.
I didn't try to find out how you were doing. Not because i didn't care, but because i felt I had no right to know since i had cut you out of my life in that insensitive way. But one day i failed and went after any news about you. I found your Instagram. You seemed happy. But i regretted what i had done. You're dating...
Jungkook felt his face heat up with embarrassment and felt bad that Hoseok had seen it. His picture with Henry. He felt guilty, even though he had done nothing wrong. But it was as like Hoseok had caught him doing something wrong. He had met Henry in some classes they had in common. The man was one of the few friends he made over the years. They became great friends and months later boyfriends. Needless to say, it didn't last long. Henry was an amazing person, but at one point Jungkook realized that he couldn't fully give himself to that relationship, and Henry deserved nothing more than total commitment. And Jungkook couldn't love him, because he still loved someone else.
So he was honest with Henry. They broke up in an friendly way and remained friends. They talked virtually after Jungkook came back to Korea.
I confess that i fucking cried my eyes out. You would have thought it was pathetic, because it was pathetic. After all, I deserved it. I broke up with you and you were single, you had every right to move on. I just hope he treats you well and makes you happy, more than I ever did, because you deserve it. I couldn't move on, I don't think I ever will. You consumed me completely, Jungkook. You robbed me of myself and spoiled everyone else. No one else is enough, so since I've lost you, I'm bound to be alone. Maybe I'll adopt some cats or a dog when i got too lonely.
I think that's enough. I'll stop here. In short, i just wanted to apologize to you, for everything. And to say that i regret what i did. I hope with all my heart that you are happy, bunny, because my heart is yours, and it will only be okay if you are okay.
I love you, always and forever. That is the only certainty I have in life.
Love, your Seokie.”
Hoseok didn't know what to do. Had Jungkook already seen the gift and read the letter? It had been a long time, but he hadn't heard anything. He was pacing around the balcony, biting his nails. He couldn't help himself.
He would go back to the living room, decided. But when he turned to go to the door Jungkook was there. And he was crying. Very much so.
- Jungkook, hey. Why are you crying? - Hoseok not even think as he quickly walked over to Jungkook and wiped away the younger man's tears. Did he make Jungkook cry again?
- Seokie, w-what is t-that? - Asked through sobs.
- W-what? - Looked down at what Jungkook was holding between them and saw the black velvet box open with the two rings inside. - Ah.
Jungkook looked at him, still with silent tears streaming down his face, waiting for an answer.
- It's... this is ... I-I was going to give it to you for Christmas that year that you left. R-remember i once said that i would buy our dating rings with my own money? Because we started dating at that Namjoon party, and there was no planned proposal and no rings.
Jungkook nodded. He remembered. Clearly.
- I got that part-time job and saved up the money to buy it. I was going to propose again at Christmas, but... well then all that happened and it's... here it is. - He blew a nervous smile and scratched the back of his neck.
- I love you.
The way Hoseok lifted his head made Jungkook worry that he might have hurt himself.
- W-what? What did you say? - Hoseok was panting and his chest was rising and falling at an alarming rate. His mind was spinning and his mouth was dry.
- I said I love you, Seokie. I never stopped loving you. - He said, stepping closer, until his forehead was pressed against Hoseok's. - I forgive you, Seokie, for everything. - He brought his hands up to Hoseok's neck and didn't wait for an answer as he pressed their mouths together in a kiss.
At first Hoseok remained paralyzed. His body had lost consciousness for an instant, his brain had stopped sending commands. But just as Jungkook was about to pull away, he snapped back to reality and despaired at the pull away, letting out an agonizing moan, then his hands rushed to Jungkook's waist, bringing him closer and again their mouths joined.
This time it was more intense. It was like a meeting of souls after a lifetime apart. Hoseok felt like he had come home, and Jungkook was once again in his safe place. They were back in each other's arms.
At one point Jungkook had to pull away because Hoseok started to cry a lot. And he just pulled his face away to brought it to Hoseok's neck, hugging him tightly. Hoseok was sobbing in his grip. And Jungkook listened to him mumbling apologies simultaneously.
- Shh Shh Shh. It's okay. We're fine now. I've already apologized for everything, and I hope you'll forgive me too.
- What? F-for what? You didn't do anything wrong. - Hoseok tried to walk away, but Jungkook wouldn't let him. He wasn't ready to walk away yet.
- We'll talk about it later.
- Do you really forgive me? - He asked quietly, his voice shaky and vulnerable.
- Yes.
- Really?
- Really, Seokie. - He smiled a little, stroking Hoseok's hair.
- God, how much i love you. - This time it was Hoseok who squeezed him harder. There was not an inch of distance between them. And this is how it should always be.
They stayed in that position for countless minutes. Jungkook took a deep breath in, longing for Hoseok's scent. Melon and jasmine. How he missed that perfume.
- How i missed your perfume. - He expressed his thoughts.
- I missed yours too. Very much.
Jungkook kissed the curve of Hoseok's neck and then looked at the little black box in his hand. He didn't think much about what he did. He just felt he had to.
- Seokie?
- Yes.
- Do you want to make a new request now? - Asked softly next to Hoseok's ear.
At the first second Hoseok didn't understand, but when he finally did he felt his pressure drop, because that couldn't be true, could it? Was Jungkook really giving him a new chance?
He pulled away. But only a little. He looked at Jungkook, and saw him looking down, suddenly shy, biting his lower lip. Hoseok brought his hands up to the other's face, gently holding his cheeks and with one thumb released the lip caught between his teeth.
- Do you really want this? - He asked when Jungkook looked into his eyes.
Hoseok saw stars there. His favorite constellation dwelled in those eyes. And when Jungkook nodded, Hoseok smiled, he smiled big. Jungkook saw the heart on those lips. It was his heart there. And he was home again.
Hoseok took the box from Jungkook's hand and took the ring from there, hoping that it still fit on Jungkook's finger.
- Bunny. - Jungkook smiled when he heard the nickname Hoseok used to use for him. - We have been through many things together, and even after this detour in our path, we have found each other again. If I hadn't made that mistake, i could be proposing something else to you right now. - Jungkook felt his heart racing, his whole body vibrating. - But we have all the time in the world now, and all that matters most to me is to have you by my side again. So, do you agree to pick up where we left off? Will you be my boyfriend again, bunny?
- Yes. Yes, that's all i want more than anything. - He answered, laughing and crying at the same time.
Hoseok put the ring on Jungkook's ring finger, and sighed with relief when it fit perfectly. Jungkook took the other ring from the box and put it on Hoseok's finger, then hugged him again. Tight.
- I missed you so much, bun. So much it hurt. - Hoseok whispered, still in the embrace.
- No more than i did, Seokie.
- I will never let you go away from me again. Never again. Wherever you go, you have to carry me along. - Hoseok's body trembled as Jungkook smiled.
- I will gladly do that.
Hoseok pulled away again and kissed Jungkook. Those lips knew each other so well, and it was so good to feel those familiar touches again.
- I can't believe i have you like this again. - He kissed every corner of Jungkook's face, and then kissed his smile. - Seriously, when i really realized that i had lost you, i went into despair. I think it was an anxiety attack that I didn't even know I had. I scared nonna that day.
- I am here now, Seokie, and i am not leaving. - Hoseok only nodded, emotionally overwhelmed. - Come, it's getting cold in here.
Hoseok followed him into the apartment, but without letting go of his hand. The two of them sat down on the sofa, with Jungkook leaning his head on Hoseok's shoulder, his hands together resting on Hoseok's stomach.
- When did you start your therapy? - He asked Hoseok after a few minutes in their comfortable silence.
- I took my time. It was after I met Jimin, he was the one who convinced me to go, I think it was about two years after you left.
- I'm sorry.
- No need, bun. It was because of me that everything happened. I just had to deal with the consequences of my decision.
- I was also wrong in not telling you about the test, Seokie. I talked to Namjoon, and I finally understood that it wasn't fair to blame you for everything. It was a really big responsibility that you must have felt when you found out. I just... I didn't really think it was a big deal, you know? I took the test with no big expectations, I didn't even think i would pass.
- Of course you would pass, Bun. You're the smartest person I know.
- I missed that, you know. You supporting me like that. Sometimes I only thought I could do something because of the way you believed I could. When there was a test or an assignment that I didn't feel confident about, i missed you telling me that i could do it and that I would.
- I'm sorry. For not being there when you needed me. But you never really needed me to do anything, you were always able to do everything yourself, I just needed to remind you of that.
- I will always need you, Seokie. Always. - He wrapped his arms around Hoseok's waist and hid his face in Hoseok's neck.
Hoseok smiled as he had not done in a long time. It was as if everything was back on track, and he could breathe normally again. No more crying in the early morning hours when he remembered Jungkook. No more pain for having lost his best friend. No more of that anguish he had felt every time he looked at Jungkook since his return.
His chest was relieved. His mind was clear, a peace flooded his body. Only Jungkook could do this for him. Make him quiet. His calmness. His Jungkookie.
- Seokie? - Hoseok mumbled to say he heard him. - Do you know the order of the gifts?
- Hmm... I think so. Why?
- I think I opened them in the wrong order.
- You didn't have to open them in order, Bunny. - He smiled and kissed Jungkook on the head.
- But I want to know. Tell me, please? - He looked at Hoseok with his chin resting on his shoulder. Hoseok pecked his mouth before answering.
- Sure, whatever you want. - Jungkook smiled big, kissed Hoseok's cheek and lay back on his shoulder. - Hmm... let me see. The first, of course, was the ring. I already had it back then.
Jungkook pulled his hand away, admiring the ring there.
- It is perfect.
- It's perfect because it's on your hand. - Jungkook smiled and hugged Hoseok again. - The second I think was the painting. I was still in a bad way, I wouldn't leave my room for anything, and on your birthday i got worse, until at dawn I gave up sleeping and started this painting. I spent the whole night doing it, and when I was done I couldn't feel my hand properly. - Jungkook increased his grip.
- It was beautiful.
- Thanks, bun. The third was the jacket. - He smiled as he remembered that episode. - Nonna literally dragged me out of my room and made me customize it with her. That's when we talked and she made me run after my degree, that my life could not stop. I agreed. And already at the beginning of the year I was studying for my tattoo license.
- I loved the jacket, hyung. And look. - He lifted his arm so that Hoseok could look where he was pointing. - I tattooed the same phrase you wrote on the jacket. About two years ago.
- Yes, I have seen it a few times that you were without covering them.
- Did you know that I cried at my first tattoo?
- Really? Did it hurt a lot? - He asked looking at Jungkook.
- No... - He looked down at the flower tattoo from his birth. His first tattoo. - I cried because it was my first, and you weren't the one who was going to do it. I also remembered that I wouldn't be your first client. The tattoo artist didn't understand anything, because he hadn't even started and I was already crying. - He smiled sadly.
- I'm sorry.
- It's ok. All the next ones will be done by you.
- It will be my pleasure. - Kissed Jungkook.
- And for free.
Hoseok threw back his head, smiling.
- As many as you want, Bun. All of them. - Jungkook smiled and pecked his mouth.
- Go on.
- Where was I... Oh, yes. Then it was the book, I was in a library in Gangnam looking for some art books and I saw this book. I remembered that you loved the author and bought it. Next one was the music box.
- Wow, Seokie. I really love this one! - He sat up straight and smiled at Hoseok. - I cried so much when I opened it. Seriously, I think I listened to it ten times in a row.
- Is that why you came here with red eyes? - Squeezed his cheek.
- Oh, also, but I cried from the beginning to the end honestly.
- Cute. - He smiled, looking at Jungkook. He really hated when Jungkook cried, but the man looked extremely cute with his little red nose. Hoseok wanted to coo, and that's what he did. - Cutest thing in the world. I love it. - He used an affected tone while kissing Jungkook all over his face, who was begging him to stop, but was smiling.
- Go on.
- You're the boss. Then it was the bracelet, if I'm not mistaken. - He wrinkled his face thinking. - Yes, I think it was. I was already seeing a psychologist and she told me to find something to do besides drawing. She thought that if i only drew to try to distract myself from you i might lose my passion for art. So i chose to make these handmade bracelets. I made them for everyone in house, Jimin must have a stock full of things i made, could open a store with everything. - He commented laughing, being accompanied by Jungkook, who was also playing with the bracelet on his wrist.
- Then came the letter. I had been in therapy for a few months, and she told me to write it down, to put on paper everything I felt, everything i blamed myself for. It was a way to try to get me to forgive myself, it didn't work much, but i wrote it anyway. I thought she would read it, to evaluate me, I don't know. But she didn't read it, she said it was for myself, a way to put into words what I couldn't say out loud.
Jungkook looked at the letter on the table.
- I didn't love him. - He said in a low voice.
- What? Who? - Hoseok asked as Jungkook looked at him.
- The man in the picture you saw, Henry, I didn't love him, Seokie. I still loved you too much to be able to love him.
- It's okay, Bun. You don't have to tell me that.
- Yes, I do. Were you involved with anyone during this time? - He asked seriously, and was also bothered by the possibility.
- No, but this-
- So. When I read your letter, i felt bad, like i had betrayed you somehow.
- My God, Jungkook. Stop being silly. - He smiled at Jungkook's words, bringing him into an embrace, and Jungkook hid in those arms. - You haven't betrayed me in any way. As I said in the same letter, you were single. Don't think about it anymore, okay? - Jungkook nodded. - Promise?
- I promise.
- Good. Well, moving on I think it was the CD afterwards.
- I think the signatures are real.
- I think so too. Then it was the sneakers, I found that transformer in the store window and all I could see was you wearing it. So I bought it.
- It's really my style, I loved it.
- I am happy about it. Then it was the funko and lastly the flower.
- The flower was the last one?
- Yes.
- Oh good! - He exclaimed, clapping his hands together. - So it should last another two and a half years.
- Yes. - Hoseok smiled at the other's happiness.
- The funko has several brothers at home. Lucky that you bought a model that I didn't have yet.
- That's good.
- That's great. Thank you, Seokie. I loved everything. - He brought his mouth up to Hoseok's jaw, sliding it down while leaving kisses along the way. - I will have to buy gifts for you too, to make up for all the gifts you gave me.
- You don't have to. Just stay close to me like this and it will be enough. - He held Jungkook's face and brought him in for a kiss.
The kiss was different from the others, which contained accumulated longing and forgiveness being given. This one was more intense because it contained desire. Jungkook felt his stomach turn the way Hoseok's tongue outlined his lips. His hands roamed over his body, his thin waist, his well worked back, and a trail of fire was left by the way his hands glided. Hoseok kissed him hungrily, he couldn't believe that Jungkook was there with him, like that. It was so surreal.
Jungkook pushed himself up, sitting on Hoseok's lap, his legs on either side of the older man's hips, and deepened the kiss. His whole body had goosebumps.
- Seokie... - He whimpered when he felt Hoseok squeeze his waist, bringing him closer. He could already feel the fervor at the base of his stomach. All the blood in his body was flowing to one place. His cock.
Hoseok shuddered with the needy tone that Jungkook whimpered. The kiss continued intensely, tongues battled for space and control, the wet sound was heard throughout the apartment. Hoseok was breathing heavily through his nose, not wanting to move away from Jungkook's mouth ever again, but he had to when all his breath was knocked out of his chest as Jungkook crawled onto his lap, rubbing both their erections together.
The two of them groaned together. A lustful sound. Jungkook rolled his eyes at the sensation that contact brought, and overcome with desire and the urge to feel more of it, he automatically tried to roll over on Hoseok's lap, but was stopped by the older man who held his waist and stopped the movement.
- Ju-Jungkook, stop. - His voice was affected when he spoke.
- Why? Seokie, it was sooo good. - He slurred the end of his sentence and tried to move again, but was stopped by Hoseok one more time and whined, hiding his face in Hoseok's neck.
- We should hmm... we don't... holy shit. - He could not conclude a coherent thought at that moment. His cock was extra hard under Jungkook, making it hard to think of anything other than that perfect body.
Jungkook smiled at Hoseok's bewildered form, and wanting to make matters worse dragged his mouth across Hoseok's sharp jaw, his teeth lightly rubbing the warm skin. Hoseok's whole body shuddered.
- Jungkook, for God's sake. I'm trying to control myself here.
- And who says I want you controlled, SeokSeokie? - The provocative voice left Hoseok gasping for air.
Jungkook didn't want to stop. His whole body was begging for Hoseok's touches. It was as if his body had a life and will of own, and all he wanted at that moment was to be touched by Hoseok. His whole interior pulsed with longing at the memory of Hoseok's cock inside him. He felt his hole closing up around nothing. Needy. Jungkook was needy for Hoseok, and his cock filling him.
- We barely get bac- Jungkook! - He cried out when Jungkook sucked hard on an area on his neck while squeezing one of his nipples over his shirt. - Damn it. What are you doing? - He asked breathlessly, his head thrown back against the backrest of the couch as he was overcome with pleasure. Because he really thought it would be better to stop there, but his body seemed to respond to Jungkook's stimuli on its own.
- Just taking what's mine.
- Damn it, Jungkook. - Cried out as another hickey was left below his collarbone. Jungkook also left little bites along the way in his mouth. It was driving Hoseok crazy.
- I want you, Seokie. Don't you want me too? - He asked lamely, but without stopping to tease Hoseok with his mouth and hands. He could feel Hoseok slowly loosening his grip on his waist.
- That's what I want most, Bun. But isn't it too soon? We just got it right. It's better - it's better if we... I don't know, wait a little longer, meet more often and then...
He was interrupted when Jungkook abruptly raised his head and looked straight to him, with fire and determination in his eyes. Hoseok almost groaned at the raunchy sight of Jungkook looking at him like that.
- Jung Hoseok, listen to me well. We have been five years apart. And I've lost count of how many times I've cried trying to use toys to satisfy myself by thinking about you fucking me. And all I got was a frustrating orgasm, because it wasn't you and your cock right there with me. So, I swear to God, Hoseok, if you don't fuck me here right now, I'll... I will...
Hoseok raised his eyebrows mockingly when Jungkook didn't know what to say. He wanted to feel bad for what Jungkook said, but he could only feel his cock pulsing with interest as he imagined Jungkook on a bed, a toy cock in his ass as he cried out calling his name. Needing him.
- You're going to do what, huh Bun? - Jungkook felt his whole body shiver at the change in Hoseok's behavior. The low, raspy, slurred voice always took Jungkook from hell to paradise in a matter of seconds.
The groan that Jungkook then let out was heard throughout the building. Hoseok had taken both hands from Jungkook's waist to his ass and then squeezed hard before pulling forward to make contact with his hard cock.
- Ho-hoseok, I...fuck, fuck, fuck- Ahn. - Hoseok was driving his hips to roll over his cock, hands still firmly on his ass.
- So hot. You're so hot, Baby. This ass of yours is filling my whole hand. - He said, emphasizing his speech as he squeezed Jungkook's muscles even tighter.
- Seokie, please. - He himpered. Jungkook's breathing was heavy. He missed Hoseok so much, but God. How he missed THAT Hoseok.
- I'm going to destroy you Jungkook. - Hoseok spoke in a deep, intense voice, and Jungkook only cried, shaking his head, craving it, before Hoseok pulled him into an aggressive kiss.
In a few minutes they both started to take off their clothes. Jungkook almost throws himself off balance trying to remove the pants he was wearing without getting off Hoseok's lap. They both smiled at the scene, but soon they were kissing again, this time without any clothes between them.
They groaned as they felt their naked skins touching. The softness and tenderness meeting, causing a shock so intense that it unsettled them both for a few seconds. Hoseok again dragged his hands up his body, cataloging with his fingertips every inch of Jungkook. He felt the goosebumps he left along the way, and delighted in Jungkook's satisfied sighs. He loved touching the other like that. Damn! How Hoseok missed idolizing that body.
- Beautiful. You are beautiful, Jeon Jungkook. Do you hear me? - Hoseok says pulling Jungkook by the neck for an intense kiss. His right hand slides between their bodies and holds both members together in an improvised handjob. Jungkook tries to pull away from the kiss to moan from the intense pleasure he felt from having his cock next to Hoseok's as the slim fingers moved up and down his limbs. Hoseok didn't allow him to pull away, so they both gasped together, their mouths glued open with their hot breaths meeting.
Hoseok slid the hand that was on the back of Jungkook's neck and brought it up to his chin, two fingers entering the younger man's mouth. Jungkook closed his lips and sucked as hard as he could. His tongue slid between them, hot and wet, he looked directly at Hoseok as he did this and squirmed at the intensity he was looked back at. Hoseok's hand was still moving between them, and then he removed the hand that was on the other's mouth and kissed him. Jungkook was unprepared when he felt the hand he was sucking on smoothing his edge. The coast arched beautifully, and a cadenced moan exhaled from his lips.
Hoseok went slowly, using his fingers wet with Jungkook's saliva to stimulate before unhurriedly inserting the first finger. Jungkook kept moaning and squeezed Hoseok's shoulders when he felt the finger introducing him.
- No, no, no. - Jungkook steadied himself on Hoseok's lap when he felt Hoseok withdraw his finger and pull him out of his lap.
- Easy, my love, I just need to get the lube, I don't want to hurt you. - He placed small kisses on Jungkook's lips and calmly turned the other's body, leaving him sitting on the couch before hurrying off.
Jungkook had been distracted by the kissing and tilted his hand whimpering and trying to reach Hoseok when the older man ran into the bathroom. He would have laughed at the scene of Hoseok running naked through the house, but he was so immersed in his intrinsic desire that he could only focus on the fact that Hoseok had walked away from him.
Hoseok didn't take even a minute to get what he needed, but it was enough for Jungkook to kneel on the couch with an anguished look on his face when he saw him coming back and pull him close again, hugging him desperately.
- I'm here, Bun. - Jungkook kissed him, his neck tilted upwards by Hoseok's standing and him still kneeling on the couch.
Hoseok wrapped his thin waist with one arm and laid Jungkook down on the couch positioning himself between his legs. Hoseok mentally boasted to Jimin, remembering when his friend said that the couch he chose was overstuffed. He was looking out for his comfort, and his choice had been well worth it just for housing Jungkook's large body comfortably.
Without pausing the kiss Hoseok opened the lube, pouring some into his right hand, he mentally thanked God when he saw that the lube and condom were still on the expiration date. Jungkook arched his back again when he felt Hoseok's moist fingers at his entrance.
Hoseok took his time preparing Jungkook. His tongue traced the younger man's abdomen with veneration. Hoseok found himself fascinated by those muscles. Jungkook's body like that was totally new to him, but Hoseok was loving it. His Jungkook had only gotten hotter.
- Hoseok, Seokie... please. - Jungkook spoke again after a long time of only moaning and screaming with pleasure as his prostate was stimulated by Hoseok's long fingers, but that was no longer enough. He needed more. He needed Hoseok's cock, right now.
- I know, my love, hyung will give you what you want so badly. - Hoseok bit one of Jungkook's nipples before picking up the condom next to him on the floor and putting it on. He sighed when touched his neglected cock as he put the condom on and then bent down again, supporting his weight with his elbows at the sides of Jungkook's torso. He guided his member into the wet entrance, stroking with his head, until Jungkook whimpered once more and Hoseok took pity on his boy and finally penetrated the tight interior.
The sound that came out of Jungkook was lascivious. Hoseok had to lean his head on Jungkook's chest to control himself, or he would cum right there. He tried to pull oxygen into his lungs, but it was so tight. Jungkook was so tight, crushing him.
Five years. It had been five fucking years since Hoseok had been with someone like that. No one believed him when he said he hadn't been in bed with anyone else after Jungkook left. He couldn't. Jimin even cogitated that he might be demisexual. But Hoseok soon dismissed the idea. The few times he went out with his friends to a party, he was attracted to and wanted to have sex with some people, he kissed a few others, but that was all. When he finally remembered that it wasn't Jungkook there, everything froze up and Hoseok just walked away spending the rest of the night at the bar. So that's it... Hoseok had gone a long, long time without having sex with someone. So it took all his strength to keep his orgasm from coming too soon, making him look like a teenager in puberty.
But Jungkook didn't seem to sympathize much with the situation his boyfriend was in, and began to roll slowly under Hoseok, sly sounds coming from his pink lips.
- Damn, I think my dick is going to collapse. - Hoseok grumbled, squeezing Jungkook's ass.
- What? - Jungkook lifted his head from where it was resting, looking at Hoseok.
- That's a lot of pressure.
A moment of silence passed before Jungkook burst into laughter. Hoseok followed soon after, but the laughter ceased when Hoseok moved, causing both of them to moan languidly.
- This is so fucking good. I've missed being inside you like this. - Hoseok exclaimed as he moved slowly, feeling every millimeter of Jungkook's hole.
- So good, Seokie. - He squeaked softly in Hoseok's ear.
Just when he thought he could go faster without cumming, Hoseok quickened the pace of his thrusts. The slapping sound of clashing skins filling the apartment only increased the horniness of both of them.
At one point Jungkook thought he was too passive, letting Hoseok do all the work, so he rotated their bodies on the couch and sat on Hoseok's lap.
Jungkook seemed to glow in Hoseok's vision. He looked like a god on top of him like that. His milky smooth skin was bathed in a thin layer of sweat. His neck tilted back as he began to ride on Hoseok. Hoseok ran his hands around his waist, down to his muscular thighs that worked tirelessly at supporting Jungkook by riding up and down on his cock.
- Damn Jungkook, you're so hot like that.
- Am I? - Jungkook bowed his head, looking at Hoseok. His cheeks were flushed, his hair was disheveled, and his lips were red and moist from Jungkook's keep licking them.
- Yes, delicious. Roll over more for hyung, hm?
- Like this hyung? - He circled his hips with Hoseok's entire cock inside him.
- Fuck! Ahn- yeah baby j-just like that. - Hoseok was overcome with desire. He thought that maybe their first time together again might be awkward. Maybe them trying to get to know each other's bodies again, but Hoseok couldn't have been more wrong.
It felt sensory at that moment. Their bodies knew each other and had spent time apart, but now that they were reunited it was as if they hadn't been apart in the first place.
Lost in the realm of his pleasure, Hoseok stood up with a strength he didn't even know he had, grabbing Jungkook's body who cried out in surprise wrapping his legs around Hoseok's waist as the older man rose from the couch with him on his lap.
Hoseok went to the nearest wall and pressed Jungkook there, and started thrusting hard and fast. They both moaned into each other's mouths. Jungkook felt his belly tingling with his approaching orgasm, and so did Hoseok.
- Perfect ass. - Hoseok said breathlessly as he kissed Jungkook's neck and squeezed the younger man's ass, non-stop with frantic thrusts from his hips. - Perfect, taking me so well.
- Hyung I'm- I'm-
- Yeah, Bunny, me too. Come to hyung hm.
It was as if Jungkook's body needed only that to release itself, his orgasm came so hard that he lost consciousness for a few minutes. His vision darkened, and there seemed to be water in his ears. He could hear Hoseok's guttural groan as he came, the sound seemed to come from far away, even though Hoseok was pressed against him.
A little later he felt Hoseok moving and only noticed that he was walking when he opened his eyes and found himself in a room, being deposited lovingly on a bed of soft, icy sheets. The cold sensation on his back felt so good, calming his body that was on fire.
- Hmmm. - He murmured happily, stretching out on the surface to enjoy more of the sensation and heard a giggle beside him. Hoseok was there with a cloth, and he leaned over the bed and wiped Jungkook's dirty belly.
- I thought you passed out for a few minutes back there. I had forgotten how you zoned out after an orgasm. I was startled at the first second. - He said as got back into bed after throwing the handkerchief in the trash can.
- It's just that you always fuck me so well that I go to another dimension for a while. - He joked and mentally slapped him on the shoulder when Hoseok let out that laugh Jungkook loved so much, throwing his whole body on the bed.
- You don't exist, Bunny.
- I'm right here Seokie.
- Yes, you are. You really are. - Hoseok spoke seriously, but still with a smile on his lips. - I love you, Jungkook.
Taken aback by the sudden statement, Jungkook moved closer to Hoseok, one leg between the other's and hugged his waist. He kissed Hoseok tenderly.
- I love you more. - He answered, smiling between kisses.
- No, I love you more.
- I love you more.
- I love you more.
- Me.
- Me.
- Me, I can stay here all night.
- Me too. - Hoseok said with a big smile, and bent down to kiss Jungkook's neck.
- You love me very much, but I love you more.
Hoseok looked at Jungkook. The younger man was smiling, his eyes shining. Hoseok felt a surge of emotion as the intensity of his feelings for Jungkook hit him. His chest compressed and he caught himself breathless.
- Hyung? Is everything okay? - Jungkook asked when he noticed Hoseok's face change.
Hoseok just pulled Jungkook into a tight hug.
- Yes, it is now. I just fucking love you Jungkook. Stay like this with me just for now, okay?
- Yes, Seokie. As long as you want. - He replied when he noticed Hoseok's vulnerable tone, squeezing the other even tighter in his arms. He used his foot to pull the sheet he saw at the end of the bed and covered both of them.
And there, within each other's embrace, breasts pressed together, and breathing calmly both were lulled to sleep. Their heartbeats were in sync.
The weeks went by, Jungkook and Hoseok were still together. It was as if they were back in their high school past in their adult forms. They were inseparable. The love between them was only growing, and it was as if the world was back on track and everything was where it was supposed to be.
Hoseok woke up first that night, and spent minutes just watching Jungkook sleep. He always thought that he would never feel such serenity and happiness in life after what happened, but life proved him wrong when it brought Jungkook back to him. Into his arms, where he belonged. And he to the other's arms as well.
Jungkook spent most days in Hoseok's apartment, not wanting to be alone in his and thinking about how he wanted his boyfriend there with him, so he was just going to meet Hoseok soon. Why stay at home wishing for something when you could have that? He had been away from Hoseok long enough. And Hoseok wasn't complaining about that, of course not. For his sake Jungkook would gather his things and move in with him at once. It was the best thing to be able to go to sleep and have Jungkook's face be the last thing he saw, as well as wake up and be the first. He loved this. He loved.
They talked about everything. What they did during these years, about the friends they made, and it was in one of these conversations that Hoseok met Henry through a video call. Jungkook received the call and called Hoseok to meet his friend and ex-boyfriend. It was awkward at first, Hoseok found himself a little uncomfortable with the situation, but Henry soon managed to undo the awkward mood by congratulating the two on dating, and saying that he was really happy for them and that Jungkook was finally with the one he loved so much. But at the end of the call, Henry managed to ruin the mood for Hoseok again, when he said that he was a lucky man and that he shouldn't waste the new chance that Jungkook gave him. 'Cause, who did that man think he was to talk to him like that?' Puff. Hoseok didn't need a complete stranger telling him to do something he already knew.
That night he had fucked Jungkook raw. He hated to remember that that busybody touched Jungkook, kissed him, so Hoseok fucked Jungkook angrily, touching, marking and claiming that whole body as his. And holy shit. To say that Jungkook enjoyed that was an understatement. He loved it.
That was something that was also happening a lot. Sex. They had sex almost every day. Hoseok seemed to be catching up on all the years he hadn't been able to have Jungkook like that. He was insatiable. He wanted Jungkook when he woke up, when they showered together, when Jungkook was in the kitchen preparing something, when they slept and Hoseok squeezed him from behind, and Jungkook was almost in dreamland when he felt Hoseok hard behind him, breathing heavily and sliding his hands down his body. He whimpered in his ear, "Bunny, I want you now. Do you want me too? Please?". And Jungkook would not deny it. He couldn't refuse. It was as if Hoseok turned on a switch inside him every time he spoke softly in his ear. So Jungkook might be almost asleep, but the moment Hoseok used that voice on him, his horniness would start spreading throughout his body and he would agree. Then, they fucked. There came a time when they only didn't fuck when they were at work.
But the affection between them was also big. Everything between them had evolved. All the feelings came back with more intensity. They loved each other. As fuck. And they were happy.
- For God's sake, are they always like this? - Seokjin asks Jimin while looking at Hoseok and Jungkook.
The two are sitting on a swivel chair in Jimin's room in the studio. Actually, Hoseok is sitting on the chair and Jungkook is sitting on him with his head resting on his boyfriend's chest. They were there because Hoseok asked his friend to tattoo something for him, and Seokjin and Yoongi were there waiting for Namjoon to arrive, as the seven of them were going out to dinner together later.
- Yes. Since they came back they seem to have been stuck together. Joonie hyung said that they are worse off than they were in high school. They arrived here walking like penguins with Jungkook clinging to Hoseok's back. - Jimin replied as he finished preparing the materials he would use on his friend.
- God forbid me. Just looking at all this stickiness gives me hives. - Yoongi replies, shaking his body as if agonized by something.
- Ah stop, Yoonie, that you also love it when Joon and I hold you between two of us, in every way. - Seokjin speaks while waggling his eyebrows amusedly, and Jimin can see Yoongi's face with a darker shade of pink on his cheeks.
- Shut up, hyung. - The short man grumbles as he goes to get some magazines from Jimin's desk, hearing the two laughing behind him.
Hoseok and Jungkook are in their own little world, this happened every time they were together. It's like they forget about the people around them and just focus on each other.
- You're going to stay like this while I work? - Jimin asks Jungkook as he sits down on the stool next to the chair the two of them are sitting on.
- You're going to get his hand and arm tattooed, I'm not in the way of being here. - He answers with a pout on his lips and Hoseok feels his heart melt at his boyfriend's cuteness.
- Leave my bunny here. - he said, hugging his boyfriend's body with the hand that would not be tattooed. - He will distract me from the pain.
- Hyung, you have 30% of your body tattooed, and you've never used anything to distract yourself before. - Jimin replied, rolling his eyes at his friend.
- It's because before I didn't have my love with me. So I suffered in silence.
- Pathetic. - Jimin snorted and laughed at Hoseok. That didn't bother him at all, in fact he was very happy that his friends were happy. Especially Hoseok.
Jimin had never met Hoseok from before Jungkook left. So the reference he had of his friend was the one he met on his first day the tattoo artist course. But now, it was as if Hoseok was a different person, of course, his best friend was still there, but he was happier, more spontaneous. It was as if a piece was missing, and then that piece was found. He knew now that the missing piece was Jungkook. So yeah, Jimin was happy for his friend.
- And... done. - Jimin says after finishing the last trace of the tattoo.
- Let me see. - Jungkook settles on his boyfriend's lap and gently holds Hoseok's right arm.
A very thin yellow line circled Hoseok's ring finger and ran halfway down his wrist where a black sentence was written.
"I drew a line for you. Oh, what a thing to do"
Hoseok thought about this as he looked at Jungkook's tattoo whenever his boyfriend left it in view. To him it was as if the tattoos complemented each other, and formed a piece of their song.
Jungkook smiled at Hoseok and leaned in to kiss his boyfriend.
- I love you, Seokie.
- And I love you, bunny. More than yesterday and less than tomorrow. Always.
- And forever.
END
