Wu followed the bikers as sneakily as he could, turning his headlights off driving slowly. They all turned down a long road, Wu knew the road. It led to a large hotel, that was abandoned . Wu parked his car and locked it. Then began to make the trek down the road, seeing the bikers in the distance. It was a cold night.
Once Wu got to the hotel, his legs ached and he was exhausted. Wu saw the hotel had the lights on, It was rundown. Wu snuck through the shadows, a bit messily, because he was tired. He found a large air vent, removing the cover crawling inside. He crawled on all fours with ease, using his hearing to figure out where he was.
Wu walked by a few panels that showed the boots of the people who were in the hotel. Black, spikes, stickers, they were all unique.
Wu passed another panel, not bothering to look through it. But it was a mistake. The panel was broken off, a hand grabbing Wu, pulling him out by his braid. He gasped and tried to grab onto a surface but couldn't.
Wu was pulled out completely. A very pale man with long hair that went down to his lower calves was holding Wu by his braid.
"I knew it." He said in a deep and gritty voice.
"I can explain!" Wu quickly said, trying to keep his fear hidden. The man dragged Wu by his braid and took him into an elevator, clicking a button for the top floor. They stood in the elevator silently. Wu looked at the man. He looked… familiar. Wu sensed an element in him. But he couldn't figure out what element. It felt… morbid.
The elevator opened and the man grabbed Wu's arm and walked out. He took Wu to a door and opened it and they both walked in. The room looked like a meeting room. The guy from the store was sitting down. He looked over and laughed.
"Snacks guy!" The guy said. Wu frowned.
"You recognize him?" The long haired man asked.
"Yeah, he told me where the snacks were in the store. Didn't think he'd follow me home, though." The guy replied.
"You know what this means." The long haired man said, forcing Wu to sit down in a chair.
"It'll help having someone who knows the store here." The guy joked.
"What do you mean?" Wu asked quietly. The long haired man slammed a book down, it was huge. He opened it to a blank page.
"Wu Meii." The long haired man said. Wu looked at him, in shock.
"How do you know me?" Wu asked, even quieter.
"You are in violation of a policy we have here. Unfortunately, you have forfeited your ability to go home. You need to sign." The long haired man said, ripping out the page. He put it in front of Wu. The blank page suddenly had writing all over it. Wu started to read it.
"I'm- No, I'm not signing this! I want to go home!" Wu yelled, trying to rip the paper but it was like ripping a stone.
"You can't leave now, I apologize. You should have thought twice before following Gav." The long haired man growled. Making Wu look over at the guy.
"Gav?" Wu asked.
"Yeah, my name's Gav. Nice to meet you!" He said, smiling. Wu blushed and waved, making Gav's smile widened.
"You should sign the paper, Wu. We can hang out! You can show me where the snacks are, you look like someone who knows the best snacks." Gav said. He sounded genuinely nice. Wu shook his head.
"I need to go home." Wu said.
"Very well." The long haired man said with a sigh. He grabbed Wu's hand and put a pen in it. Wu's hand suddenly signed the paper, he had no control over it. Wu tried to pull his hand away but he finished signing and the pen dropped out of his hand. Wu pulled his hand back, breathing heavily, scared.
"What was that?!" Wu shouted, starting to feel a bit lightheaded. The long haired man put the page back in and it magically connected back to the book.
"Welcome to the Hornets, formerly Wu. Your new name is Dragon. Gav, show him to his room. And please, give him proper attire." The long haired man said. Gav stood up and walked up to Wu. He blushed, as Gav grabbed his arm gently and helped him up.
"I'll give you a tour." Gav said, making Wu nod and start to follow the other man.
