Aeneas is one of the few Trojans who were not killed or enslaved when Troy fell. Aeneas, after being commanded by the gods to flee, gathered a group, collectively known as the Aeneads, who then traveled to Italy and became progenitors of the Romans. The Aeneads included Aeneas's trumpeter Misenus, his father Anchises, his friends Achates, Sergestus, and Acmon, the healer Iapyx, the helmsman Palinurus, and his son Ascanius (also known as Iulus, Julus, or Ascanius Julius). He carried with him the Lares and Penates, the statues of the household gods of Troy, and transplanted them to Italy.

Coruscant is successfully invaded, its Jedi protectors cut down by the Sepratist army in swaths. The original councilors of the Order are gone, and Obi-Wan is all that us left. Obi-Wan gathers the survivors and leads them away from the only country they'd all ever known, save for the few that acted as diplomats or merchant caravan protection detail. His crèchemates comfort him as he falls into his role.

Several attempts to find a new home failed; one such stop was on Sicily, where in Drepanum, on the island's western coast, his father, Anchises, died peacefully. At Juno's request, a brief but fierce storm was sent against the Aeneas and the group.

Dooku catches up to them briefly with the aid of a small contingent of soldiers, Ventress, and Maul. Qui-Gon is killed by Maul, a la Phantom Menace. The Sith are outnumbered, however, and retreat.

Aeneas and his fleet made landfall at Carthage after six years of wanderings. Aeneas had a year-long affair with the Carthaginian queen Dido (also known as Elissa), who proposed that the Trojans settle in her land and that she and Aeneas reign jointly over their peoples. A marriage of sorts was arranged between Dido and Aeneas at the instigation of Juno, who was told that her favorite city would eventually be defeated by the Trojans' descendants.

Obi-Wan and the Jedi eventually make their way to Sundari, their queen Satine Kryze offering them respite. The two have a brief affair, encouraged by her advisors (Kai Merrik) who are plants for Dooku. He hopes that their marriage would further weaken the Jedi due to Satine's vehement abhorrence of violence, essentially defanging the Jedi. Though Obi-Wan had come to realize that he wouldn't be happy as Satine's consort, he agrees to this marriage out of desperation to give his people a home.

Aeneas's mother Venus realized that her son and his company needed a temporary respite to reinforce themselves for the journey to come. However, the messenger god Mercury (the adaptation of Hermes) was sent by Jupiter (who was Zeus in this version) and Venus to remind Aeneas of his journey and his purpose, compelling him to leave secretly.

Qui-Gon, now a Force ghost, watches over Obi-Wan from the Living Force. He wishes for his former padawan and his people a peaceful rest, but is gently reminded by the Force that it is not where they are meant to end up. That night, Obi-Wan recieves a vision of Death Watch joining forces with the Separatists and attacking Mandalore. Obi-Wan, who knows of Pre Vizsla and Cody Fett's pending union, feels he must warn Mand'alor Jango Fett. Obi-Wan informs Satine of his mission, intending to leave as his duty calls for him to do. She forbids him from going, telling him that the Mandalorians can tear themselves apart, they are all violent savages. Furthermore, if he is to be her consort, he cannot endanger himself in that way. Obi-Wan tries to negotiate sensing someone in his stead, but Satine will not hear of it. When Obi-Wan consults the newly appointed Jedi Council members, they inform him that they too felt in the Force that their time in Sundari was temporary, and that they will not abandon people in need. They support Obi-Wan, not wishing for him to leave alone, knowing he would be cast out if he attempted it.

When Dido learned of this, she uttered a curse that would forever pit Carthage against Rome, an enmity that would culminate in the Punic Wars. She then committed suicide by stabbing herself with the same sword she gave Aeneas when they first met.

The Jedi leave Sundari, with Obi-Wan leading the trek once more. Satine banishes Jedi from entering her kingdom ever again, claiming them to be the warmongers she always knew them to be. A few weeks into their journey to Mandalore, Obi-Wan finds out (through gossip in a city they pass through) that Satine was killed by Maul and her kingdom taken over by the Separatist Empire.

The company traveled on and landed on the western coast of Italy. Aeneas descended into the underworld where he met Dido (who turned away from him to return to her husband) and his father, who showed him the future of his descendants and thus the history of Rome.

Obi-Wan recieves another vision of the future, catching glimpses of fighting, family, and a life he could perhaps one day live.

Latinus, king of the Latins, welcomed Aeneas's army of exiled Trojans and let them reorganize their lives in Latium. His daughter Lavinia had been promised to Turnus, king of the Rutuli, but Latinus received a prophecy that Lavinia would be betrothed to one from another land – namely, Aeneas. Latinus heeded the prophecy, and Turnus consequently declared war on Aeneas at the urging of Juno, who was aligned with King Mezentius of the Etruscans and Queen Amata of the Latins. Aeneas's forces prevailed. Turnus was killed, and Virgil's account ends abruptly.

Mand'alor Jango Fett recieves the Jedi refugees with only some wariness, but when he is told of the vision (as well as corroborating the story with the news of what happened in Sundari) he is grateful to Obi-wan's insight. Cody is particularly wrathful, having never liked Vizsla but had been pressured into agreeing to marriage. Jango sends spies to investigate Pre Vizsla and the potential existence of Kyr'tsad, being aided by the Sepratists. Realizing the ruse is up, Viszla declares war on Jango and the Jedi, but ultimately loses.

The rest of Aeneas's biography is gleaned from other ancient sources, including Livy and Ovid's Metamorphoses. According to Livy, Aeneas was victorious, but Latinus died in the war.

Cody challenges Vizsla for the slight to his personal honor as well as to end the feud, and wins. Obi-Wan kills Maul, and Jango kills Dooku, but takes a mortal wound in turn. Grievous and his remaining army are defeated by Mando'ad Verde. Cody and Obi-Wan had fallen in love during the course of these events, eventually marrying after Cody's coronation as Mand'alor.

Aeneas founded the city of Lavinium, named after his wife. He later welcomed Dido's sister, Anna Perenna, who then committed suicide after learning of Lavinia's jealousy.

The Separatists were eventually reformed into the New Republic by Bail Organa, aided by the rebellion. In their new political reforms, Sundari was released from occupation, the seat of rule passed to Bo Katan, Satine's sister. However, Sundari is a small country and Satine's extreme 'reforms' had weakened it. Sundari was welcomed into Mandalore as a duchy, with Bo Katan given a seat on Cody's council as the equivalent to a Clan Alor. The Jedi split into a few temples, some returning to Coruscant (which had been incorporated into the New Republic) to rebuild, others staying in Mandalore and establishing a new temple, and others still reaching out to other countries and territories to carve out small places for them to reside, such as Naboo and Alderaan.

It's also been stated that Prince Aeneas is the ancestor to the founders of Rome, the twin brothers Romulus and Remus; the two orphan boys who are seen suckling from a she-wolf.

Obi-Wan takes on Anakin as a padawan, who marries Padme and has twins by her. They go on to become great leaders and successors to their parents, Leia becoming a Senator for Naboo and Luke a great Jedi Knight.

After Aeneas's death, Venus asked Jupiter to make her son immortal. Jupiter agreed. The river god Numicus cleansed Aeneas of all his mortal parts and Venus anointed him with ambrosia and nectar, making him a god. Aeneas was recognized as the god Jupiter Indiges.

Eventually Obi-Wan and Cody pass away, Obi-Wan joining the Living Force and Cody joining the Pantheon of Mand'alor'e. However, the Manda and the Force allow them to cross over, so that they can watch over their descendants.
