For the past two weeks, Obi-Wan had been placed in charge of preparing for this gala. The celebration was for the one year anniversary of the passing of the Clone Rights Bill. The anniversary of the end of the war had been a few weeks ago and was a more public celebration. Tonight was just for the select few that had stood by the clones and helped them get to where they were today.
Or, Obi-Wan and Cody haven't seen each other in a year. They catch up.

Emerging from the sea after his morning swim, wrapping his coat—disguised as a warm, brown leather jacket—around himself and making a warm cup of tea. Basking in the atmosphere as he walks to the library, calm quiet settling over him.
