I wake to my mother's soft voice. "Hey sweetie, it's time to wake up. Happy Birthday!" Lucy exclaims softly, her fingers pinching lightly at my cheeks. Sitting up in my bed, I give her a large smile. "Good morning mother, thank you." I was an orphan in my past life, having never felt the sweet caress of a mother let me appreciate her doting like a real son would. I click on the little question mark next to Soft Skin and watch as a separate screen with its description opens up.

I look back at the options for magic and decide to go for one befitting the resplendent glory of our kingdom that I've been told so much about. Practically half my lessons were on the kingdom of Wilhelm that my family rules and it's shining past as a merchant kingdom, turned continental power by the Age of Magic. I select Light magic and gasp a bit as a fluffy feeling enters and spreads throughout my entire body. Lucy looks over and I give her a thumbs up as I begin taking off my nightrobe.
