Inko and Rei were working on making breakfast, Enji was at the table, still half asleep. He was thankful he had the day off, but he was tired. Rei glanced over at him every now and again, making sure he was okay.
“What are the plans for today?” Enji asked, tiredly. “You ladies going out, right?”
“Yeah, Katsuki is coming round later, you said you invited Hizashi round, so they shouldn’t be too much trouble.” Inko smiled, Enji gave a small smile and a nod. Rei gave Inko a small smiled.
“Why don’t you go and wake the boys up for breakfast?” Rei suggested, it took a few moments for Enji to process her words, before nodding and getting up. She leaned close to Inko. “Think Izuku and Shouto can get him to rest a lil longer?”
“Positive.” Inko giggled, Rei joined her. Izuku and Shouto were the perfect tag team combination to get people to have the right amount of rest.
The other kids were smirking as they saw their father sleeping in his arm chair in the living room, Izuku and Shouto on his lap eating their breakfast.
“You making sure he’s well rest, good job!” Touya ruffled the hair of the two boys. Izuku and Shouto giggled happily.
“Have nice day.” Izuku waved as Rei and Inko prepared to leave with them. Shouta was just getting out of the shower.
“See you later Shouta!” Inko waved as they headed off. He waved them off and stopped in the doorway of the living room. Izuku waved happily, Shouta smiled.
“You two okay?” He asked, Izuku and Shouto nodded. Izuku swallowed his mouthful and beamed.
“Kacchan is coming.” Izuku said happily
“Kacchan?” Shouta repeated.
“My bestest best of friend!” Izuku giggled, keeping quiet as note to wake Enji.
“Ah, like Hizashi to me?” Shouta smiled, Izuku nodded.
“He loud.” Shouto said “He fun.” Shouta smiled, he helped them off Enji’s lap and they sat at their high chairs at the table to draw, Shouta washed up their bowls, listening out for the door as he was unaware what time this Kacchan would be arriving, and no idea how long Enji would be asleep. He had been called to a huge villain fight that night, and only returned in the early hours.
Around 9 am, there came a knock at the door, Enji was woken by it, he yawned, and chuckled lightly as he followed Izuku, who was tugging his trouser leg to get him to the door. Shouta stood back, Shouto standing by him, using his leg to balance himself on his feet.
At the door was a man with reddish brown hair, at his side was a kid who looked miserable, until he saw Izuku and he lit up. Shouta seeing the more boisterous personality within the kid. But the look on his face from before noticing Izuku was imprinted in Shouta’s mind, why was that look familiar…
Enji spoke with the man for a moment, as Izuku took the other boy’s hand and led him into the house. Enji finally closed the door, turning to the kids.
“Izuku, why don’t you introduce Katsuki to Shouta.” Enji smiled, Izuku giggled and led Katsuki too Shouta, the other boy looked up at the teen with a mix of surprise and worry.
“Kacchan! This is my Nii-chan! Nii-chan, this is my bestest best friend Kacchan!” Izuku said proudly. Shouta knelt and held out his hand to Katsuki.
“Nice to meet you.” He said softly, Katsuki looked at him with wide eyes, before taking his hand.
“Hi…” Katsuki seemed unsure how to act to him.
“Katsuki… can I ask if you are okay? You looked very sad at the door.” Enji said, Shouta glanced to him. So he noticed too… Shouta was a little concerned over it and it was obvious Enji felt something was wrong too. Katsuki looked nervous and tugged at his sleeve. Shouta completely sat in front of him.
“Hey, Katsuki, can I call you Kacchan too?” Shouta asked softly, Katsuki was surprised at the sudden topic change, and he blushed, but nodded.
“Can I call you Nii-chan then?” Katsuki asked, Shouta chuckled.
“Seems fair.” Shouta nodded, Katsuki beamed. “But, you need to be honest okay?” Katsuki looked confused and panicked. “Are you hurt?” Katsuki bowed his head.
“I made Mom mad is all…” Katsuki said, tugging on his sleeve a little hard.
“Kacchan?” Izuku asked worried.
“Can I see? I am very good with helping with injuries, I am see if we can make them less uncomfortable for you.” Shouta offered.
“You can do that?” Katsuki asked, Enji turned away, a fist clenched in fury.
“Yes, we can. If you make your mam mad… does she always hurt you?” Shouta asked, Katsuki nodded.
“So I learn.” He said
“I see… can I tell you something?” Shouta said softly, Katsuki nodded. “My parents were like that… they hurt me too.” Katsuki’s eyes widened.
“Like me…” Katsuki muttered. Enji knells beside them with a first aid kit, but no one was expecting the amount of bruises on Katsuki’s torso, all in areas that were clearly painful, but hard to notice. Enji shook his head.
“We need to get others involved in this… Shouta you help Katsuki, I am calling Tsukauchi to get him over to document the evidence.” Enji got up and headed to his study, Izuku and Shouto were looking in the first aid kit. Katsuki suddenly looked scared.
“What’s happened after?” He asked
“After the police are involved?” Shouta replied. The boy nodded. “Well, you will be taken into protective custody, and you will be safe.”
“Mama can keep you safe, like Nii-chan!” Izuku said happily, Katsuki smiled slightly. Shouta was careful as he help care for his bruises.

“Tsukauchi, I need you to come by as soon as possible please.” Enji said as he walked to his office.
“What’s wrong?” Tsukauchi asked. “Is everyone okay?”
“No… remember the concerns I have brought up before, about Izuku’s friend?” Enji asked
“Bakugo Katsuki right? Inko expressed her own concerns about his mothers attitude on some occasions… why… what have you found out?”
“Katsuki has bruises, finger print, hand prints… locations hard to see but would be painful…” Enji growled out. “We are getting photo graphs of them now… But we need you here. We can’t give Katsuki over to them now we know there is abuse going on.”
“I understand, I will call Inko on my way. I have All Might with me, he wants to come along and help.” Tsukauchi said
“Good, thank you. See you soon.” Enji said and grabbed a camera. They had to get Katsuki safe…
