"I'm hallucinating now," Damian muttered to himself, as the boy stared at him, uncertainly, "Mhm, pretty sure I'm not a hallucination."
"That's what a hallucination would say, Richard," he said, knowing he sounded petulant. Whatever the Galra had given him to keep him quiet, it was stronger than many of the drugs he had become accustomed to during his training with the League of Assassins.
It was only for this reason that he risked falling forward. Fortunately for him, he was promptly grabbed by the boy. It was a strong, solid grip, and definitely not a hallucination.
Damian looked up, meeting eyes that reminded him of a dead man, and the other said, "You confused me with another person. My name is not Richard. It's Lance."
(During his imprisonment on an alien ship, after sacrificing himself to save Earth, Damian meets a boy who reminds him terribly of his dead brother. He can't be who he believes, but the resemblance is striking, and Damian just wants to believe that something left by Dick Grayson still exists.)

Physically, there was nothing special about her birth. If her brain– and the number of souls inside– had been similarly unremarkable, then she would have lived a relatively decent, if short, life. Instead Yamanaka Sakura, born 23K, finds herself positioned to do so much more.
Politics, innovation, lots of canon divergence. Initially focuses on the main character as she comes to know the world and place in it, then expands to Konoha as a whole.

Summary
Cursed spirits are usually born knowing what they were supposed to do, apparently.
"Apparently" is pretty dubious because Obito was not exactly born but more like spat out of death's stomach with absolutely no idea of what to do next.
On the upside (more like downside) there's a Kakashi-look alike with a god complex and Obito really wants to fist fight god.

Peter hadn’t been walking for long when he realised that he no longer had someone tailing him. He was grateful for this.
As much as he appreciated the concern expressed by this unknown vigilante (puddle guy), Peter needed somewhere he could collect his thoughts.
