This collection is for SSHG flash fiction works that are drawn from prompts posted during Potions & Parchment's "31 Days of Flash Fiction Fest" event.

Q1. What IS Flash Fiction?

A1. Flash fiction, also called minimalist fiction,  are brief fictional works that still offer character and plot development.

Q2. So what is the maximum length our stories can be?
A2. While various sites and events quote a variety of lengths for flash fiction there are 4 categories this event will focus on.
- Flash fiction: Max 1,500 words.
- Sudden fiction: Max 750 words.
- Drabble, or microfiction: Max 100 words.
- Twitterature: Max 280 characters.

Q3. Do I have to include a specific pairing for this event?
A3. Yes, this is an SSHG event so we would be looking for an SSHG relationship, mentorship or friendship to be in focus in your fic

Q4. So how do I sign up? What is the deadline?
A4. You don't need to sign up, and there is no final deadline. Pick whichever prompt or prompts you like and write a flash fic for that prompt. This collection will remain open and you can continue adding to it. This is a low-pressure, "for fun", mini-event.

1. As with all Potions & Parchment events, you must not include any of the 4 taboos:
* No depiction of characters stated to be under the age of 18 in sexual situations
* No bestiality
* No incest
* No necrophilia (Vampires are excepted)

2. This is an SSHG event. Stories about other pairings are not appropriate for this event
