Due to our timeline, gifts are not guaranteed, but we will try our best to make sure everyone gets something. Treats are heavily encouraged unless otherwise specified in the request.

We will only delay the exchange for technical difficulties.

We will have to delete anyone whose offers don’t match any requests. Please make yourself matchable.

Nominations

All fandoms are welcome. Our nominations period is only 48 hours long, so please feel free to max out your nominations if you can.

Please disambiguate your nominations by adding the fandom in parentheses at the end regardless of how the canonical tag appears. This helps stop the tagset from breaking. We will not accept any nominations that are not disambiguated, and we will not do it for you.

For RPF, we will not accept current or past political leaders or serial killers from 1900-2024, and we will not accept characters -18 years of age or who are not famous in their own right. We reserve the right to reject any other similarly controversial RPF nominations.

You may nominate solo characters, platonic (&), and romantic/sexual (/) relationships. Polyamory and selfcest are fine. Please do not nominate hybrid ships (relationships that contain both / and & dynamics in the same listing).

Nominate solo characters as Solo: Character Name (Fandom).

Please keep in mind when nominating that our requests and offers are set to a minimum of three relationships per fandom. If there are less than three relationships in your fandom, you can’t sign up with it.

We won’t accept group nominations, but if you want to nominate “any” relationship, such as “Any Hero/Villain (Fandom)” that’s fine with us. Just please make sure your meaning is clear.

Character/Any requests are allowed but please do not DNW more than three relationships for that character.

You may also nominate original characters and “reader” relationships to any fandoms. For the purpose of this exchange, original characters will be created by gift creators and they won’t be using characters you’ve already created.

Original work nominations are welcome.

Please do not nominate any Creator’s Choice of Fandom relationships. We’ll try to keep those simplified to make matching easier.

If nominating crossovers, please disambiguate all characters in the tag. Example: Bakugou Katsuki (BNHA)/Stede Bonnet (OFMD)

Signups

If you want to sign up with a sock account, we won’t stop you, but please consider the 48 hour creation period. If you can’t complete two gifts of the same quality, please do not do this.

Due to the small size and high speed of this exchange, we strongly encourage including Creator’s Choice of Fandom and/or Original Works in your requests and offers to make yourself matchable.

You can request 3-10 fandoms. If you want to request the same fandom more than once, you can, but please make yourself matchable/easy to create for.

You can request 3-20 relationships per fandom. All relationships much be in the tagset, so if yours isn’t listed, we’re sorry, but you cannot request it.

Do not use CCoF for the sole purpose of requesting a fandom/relationship that isn’t in our tagset. We will delete your sign up. (What you discuss in your private messages is your own business.)

There is a known bug across all AO3 exchanges where not every relationship will appear in the drop down menu. Just paste it directly from the tagset, it’s fine.

Feel free to list any likes and DNWs (Do Not Wants) you may have, but we would prefer if you don’t include any prompts, especially if they would be difficult for someone who isn’t you to fill in under 48 hours.

Please be respectful when listing your DNWs and don’t yuck someone else’s yum. We don’t need to know why you don’t like a kink or trope, only that you can’t receive it.

We will only enforce reasonable DNWs. Some examples of unreasonable DNWs include: consent, incest when requesting incestuous / relationships, age gaps when requesting canonical age gap / relationships*, SFW/non-sexual works.

*you can request that characters be aged up if one is underage and age swaps are fine

DNWs like “open/ambiguous endings” and “porn without plot” (when not opting out of sexual content all together) are considered unreasonable for our short timeline and we will not enforce them. (You can DNW unhappy endings or sexual content in general, though).

You may link an external creator letter with more information about your likes. We can only enforce DNWs listed on AO3.

We encourage treats to make sure everyone has a gift, but if you’re not open to receiving a treat, please say so in your request.

You may offer 3-10 fandoms and 3-20 characters/relationships each.

For offers, there’s a little text box that asks if you’re willing to accept more than one assignment. This is in case we have a problem matching since we can’t really do pinch hits for this exchange. This is entirely optional, and if you’re not comfortable, don’t feel obligated to opt in to it. If you receive a second assignment, you will either be assigned to a fandom you offered or someone’s CCoF request. If you’re an artist willing to create for any media outside of those parameters, feel free to let us know in this box too.

Creating

Fic minimum: 48 words
Art minimum: a simple sketch

You have 48 hours to create a gift for the person you’re assigned to. You will need to include one of their requested fandoms and one requested character/relationship. You do not need to create for the fandom you matched on.

Do not include any of your gift recipients DNWs.

Please do not include any unrequested background relationships unless otherwise specified on the request.

Solo characters are to be featured on their own without any romantic of sexual relationships unless your gift recipient opts in to more on their request. If you choose to create a gift for a solo character tag, you are not required to add any more characters or relationships, even if the request opts in to them.

All works must be appropriately tagged, rated, and warned. You may use the “Creator Chose Not to Warn” archive warning, but please include the appropriate tags and rating. We will not accept any works that aren’t tagged, rated, and warned.

If you post incomplete works/placeholders, you will be banned from future rounds. There is a 24 hour editing period, but please do not abuse that by using it as 24 free additional creating hours.

If you miss the deadline, you will be banned from future rounds. We will not grant extensions.

A treat may be the only gift a person receives, so after you finish your assignment, feel free to give anyone a treat who did not opt out of them in their request descriptions. Treats have the same requirements as assignments but are entirely optional.

The deadline is for assignments only. If you want to post treats after, we will still check the collection periodically.

All works are anonymous until creator reveals. Please do not post about your works publicly or include links to your social media pages in your authors’ notes.

If your gift contains a DNW, please email us so we can contact the creator to have it fixed. If you’re an asshole to your gift giver(s) in your comments, you will not be welcome to join us for any more events.
