This event was started because I noticed a disproportionate amount of Bo-Katan hate making its way around the Star Wars fandom space and I thought it would be nice to dedicate some energy towards generating positivity around this complex, interesting character who is so often misunderstood and under-appreciated.

Be considerate!! This is a week about positivity. Absolutely NO character/ship/headcanon/anything bashing! We are here to have fun!

Anything created for this week must of course focus primarily on Bo-Katan, but ALL Bo-Katan content is welcome. Are you only familiar with her appearance in the Mandalorian? Wonderful! Have you drafted a full-length screen play including your in-depth headcanons about her childhood and her time with Death Watch? Fantastic! (And let’s compare notes.) Whatever your level of appreciation for Bo-Katan is, we’re glad to have you.

This includes ALL Bo-Katan ship content. Any ship content that includes Bo-Katan is welcome, with no exceptions.

Mature/18+ content IS allowed! Please take measures to properly rate and tag any adult content or content warnings wherever you post, whether that is here on AO3, on tumblr, or elsewhere. Without proper warnings, I won’t be able to reblog your content. You don't have to tag for every little thing, but you must indicate if a fic contains content that falls under one of AO3's major warnings (ex. Major Character Death) and tag accordingly. If a fic added to this collection fails to follow these guidelines, it will be removed until the warnings are fixed.

Feel free to post wherever you’d like! Tumblr will remain the main hub of activity for this event, so if you post there make sure to use the tag #bo katan week or #bkw 2022 so that I can more easily find your creations to reblog! If you do not have Tumblr and are planning to post only on AO3, send an ask or submission to bokatanweek.tumblr.com with a link to your AO3 post so we can share/promote it there! All further questions should also be directed to the tumblr blog.

Please make sure to mention somewhere in your summary or tags which prompt your fic fulfills.

Finally, make sure you submit your fic to the correct year's subcollection! For organization's sake, any fics that are submitted to the wrong collection will be removed. If this happens, I'll try to invite you to add your fic to the proper collection instead, but I'm only one person and I can't promise I'll remember to do so!
