Summary
Starscream remembers the guillotine.
He remembers marrying General Ultra Magnus, being ignored by his Conjunx, despised by the servants, resented by Magnus's grown son and heir, Smokescreen—and wasting his miserable marriage on jewels, extravagance, and countless lovers. Worst of all, he remembers how one lover used his shannix to finance a revolution against Cybertron's royal family, leaving Starscream branded a traitor and executed.
Then Starscream opens his optics.
It is the morning of his Conjunx Endurae ceremony.
Given an impossible second chance, Starscream wants only one thing: to keep his head attached to his neck.
No lovers. No expensive jewelry. No fighting with servants. No interfering with Smokescreen. No demanding affection from Ultra Magnus. He will become the perfect invisible spouse, quietly occupying some forgotten corner of the estate until old age claims him naturally.
Unfortunately, the moment Starscream stops demanding everyone's attention…

Starscream has already died eleven times.
Eleven lives. Eleven attempts to escape the same miserable ending. He has served Megatron faithfully, betrayed him, joined the Autobots, fled as a Neutral, vanished into exile, fought for Cybertron, abandoned Cybertron entirely—and every single path has ended with his death and his consciousness violently thrown back to the exact same point in the past.
By his twelfth regression, Starscream has had enough.
No more schemes. No more desperately searching for the “correct” route. No more trying to save people who will kill him later anyway. If destiny insists on murdering him regardless of what he chooses, then this time Starscream is going to shut the fuck up, do whatever makes his miserable existence tolerable, and enjoy however much life he has left.
Except… something is wrong.
Events are changing. Bots who never cared before are noticing him. Old tragedies aren't happening when they should.
And for the first time in twelve lives, Starscream has absolutely no idea what comes next.
