Curling up behind Nik, Lamont wrapped his arms around his swollen belly. He couldn't reach all the way around anymore, but he did the best he could. It was awe-inspiring to think that their child was in there, and that it would be born in just over a month's time. The weeks had gone by so fast, and now the big day was almost here. It felt like everything was on the brink of a momentous change, that nothing would be the same after this. He wanted to hold onto Nik and treasure these intimate moments while they were able to do so.
