When Grian opens his eyes, he doesn’t recognise where he is at first. Fuzzy pain stings at his chest, and he blinks, heaving, struggling to reorient himself.
“Hey, what’s going on? You alright?” A familiar voice asks.
Instinctively, Grian answers, “Yeah, give me a second.”
Then his eyes fly wide open, and he slams a fist into a chest, tackling whoever it was down with him. The other man goes down with a shriek, thrashing in Grian’s arms.
Grian’s head snaps up, an arm still on the person’s chest, the other pinning his arm down. “What is this?” He says quietly, then louder. “What is this?”

After over a decade together in the city of Carrows, the two of them frequently see things and deal with things that are probably a bit too ridiculous to name, and have the experience to handle it, if not particularly frequently the money.
When the mysterious (and clearly very rich) Pearl Moon walks into their agency, offering them a massive payment for a simple job, what are they to do but accept?
