Thank you there is far to many of those kind of fics it sucks that a lot of fics that could be an interesting read have that type of content but at least a lot of those authors put warning tags about it so I know not to read those fics and get attached to them and then have to stop reading it
Im5thinkong about the next chaotet of the main fic which is on the Doctor's perspective but it would also have the end of thebepisode 'Rose' in it l, which includes the Doctor talking to the Nestene Consciousness which doesn't quite have a voice so idle what it even is saying, like I can get tje gist from the Doctor's responses, but for most, if not all of tje cl versatile, we can't understand what it's saying to him. Like thenwordong it uses and such.
It's fine I just skipped that scene. Just mentioned what happened and skipped right onto the 'inviting Rose onto the TARIDS scene.
But [m still undecided when Rose should open her locket, should it be during Bpom Town or should their be a break chapter between Boom Town and Bad Wolf that is used (maknly for Rose to open it... Or should ir even be before Boom Town?
I’d say during or between boomtown and bad wolf would be the best option I think it would depend on how much detail and how big of reaction you want the reveal to have like if you want a lot of detail and big reaction you should probably go with the between episodes option
I want to have a reaction but I also want her to accidentally call tje Doctor "Thelar" without thinking, but if she does that there's thenprovpem of her having to make up a reason that isn't quite the truth, but perhaps not a full-on lie, but Lyther knows the truth, they found their waybibtotbue matrix. She made it to Gallifrey, but ny then it was the day the Doctor ran so she was able to get into the Matrix and find out what happened to their love. Sadly, theu onky really saw the backside ofnthe Doctor as he entered his TARDIS before stealing her own.
Her and her TARDIS had a less close relationship compared to the Doctor and theirs, and the one Luther will later have with the Doctor's as well. That TARDIS even got pulled back for the war while Lyther was still Chameleon Arched as Rose.
She could say the doctor reminded her of her best friend who went missing before or during the war since that wouldn’t be a lie and from what is known of Rassilon could easily happen if he was willing to do what he did to The Master then he would be perfectly willing to make someone disappear or making someone of high status angry if saying went missing before the war since very little good things are actually said about time lord society I believe
Okay, also in this AU the master is a reincarnation of Lyther's sibling, it's kind of ironic how they refused to regenerate in their first life once everyone was gone (Thelar, Lyther, Donna), and in this life they refused to regenerate in their best friend's arms. If they did remember theie past life by then.
Do you think it would make sense for them to remember in Saxon's last moments or while being Missy? Should Missy's whole redemption have to do with her remembering being Maz? Then part of the reason they went completely off their rocker again next regeneration was finding out about the Timeless Child?
Well, Lyther is the first, and ad of yet only, person who can stop the Drums, although only wheb they're in physical contact, unless I change that. As for changes, qell he can feel her telepathic presance just as well as he can feel the Doctor's, not to big, that one. I can't think of any big world changes, maybe if Lyther was on The TARDIS when he regenerated into the Saxon fsce... Why she's there and not outside with the Doctor, Martha and Jack I dunno yet, maybe she just regenerated and needed to be in a healing clma for a little while.. Or should she be the one that tells him to open the watch? After all she doesn't know what the Time Lords made her sibling into, she just recognizes him telepathically.
She knows about the drums because she was clncious for most of the time that she was in the locket (as well as Rose in heneral remembering that day when she was 10 and met the two strange boys) and remembered his reaction when they'd touched, when she'd telepathically reached out to him how the drums had stopped.. She still doesn't know what the drumbeat is, though.
Her being the one to tell him to open the watch might work also would she only be called Lyther or identify as both Lyther and Rose since even if Lyther is older than Rose she did live an entire life time from baby to adult as rose and that’s different than spending a couple weeks as a human like the Doctor did The Master spent a lifetime as Yana and had complete memories of being Yana after opening the watch and regenerating who’s to say how that would have effected him if the drums weren’t driving him insane
She'd probably go between being called Lyther and Rose, but seeing as Rose was only 18-2o vs Yana's 85+ when their respective biodata modules were opened and with the fact Lyther was more mentally sound then the master (especially post war) the merging of identities would happen differently. I'd think he'd start with keeping her around just to stop the drums, before he begins to remember. Although... If the Doctor hears her calling the Master 'Maz' that would confuse the hell out of him and he'd likely question her... I still want the SpyMaster to be the one to tell the Doctor about the Timeless child thing, though, so Saxon still has to not regenerate the first time, refusing to travel with the Doctor, and Missy's whole redemption arc happens, causing them as the SpyMaster to not believe they can ever truly be good, unless I change the next chapter of this fic, that is.
I wanna make this fic completely canon to the events of the other one, so if the redemption thing happened earlier on I'd have to change some things in chapter 4 of this fic.
I might just have to decanonize chapter 4 of this fic for the main one if I have SaxonMaster remember... Or completely change it. Although even Saxon is super far in the future for the fic, especially with needing around 3 chapters per episode.
