hi i just learned new things about philosophy and this is beautiful! i too often experience this sorta malaise and the build up to donnie having to let go was Perfect, ive never seen smth match that feeling so well. i really do think don gets hazy like this, especially after crazy stuff bc his Mind cant catch up w his body and his brain sometimes. hopefully im using the terms right here, ive just learned anout this and philosophy is not at all a subject ive ever studied!

hey thanks! but i fear i may have mislead u wrt mind-body dualism... its a response to the mind-body problem, which essentially is a larger question about the nature of consciousness and the mind. basically are mental processes physical or non-physical? its a bit complex but not really a description of don's shutdown in this fic/his thoughts on splinter's teachings, i was just sort of musing on the mind-body problem as i wrote this hence the joking end note. i dont really directly address the mind-body problem in this fic or take a stance on the relationship between mental and physical events, just sort of poke at it, so i would recommend reading more about the mind-body problem yourself if you want to understand it further. it really is very interesting and id be happy to discuss more if ur interested. thanks for reading !
