    I actually totally forgot about the eternal slumber so I'm glad it was brought up and smoothed out so quickly. leave it to Jin-ji to get it done, it's definitely a Calanthe thing, lmao.

    the increased density of mana and practical application for deconstructing it definitely is worrying tho, it's good they're sorting that out in advance too.

    I wonder how gun-hee will react once she gets the monarch title tho, seems like it'll be pretty surprising at least.

    I doubt Jin-ji will be going in head to toe like Jin-woo does with the daggers tho, even she does have lifetimes of experience with sword + shield, I wonder if she'll actually stay a pure mage type this time? I imagine it'd make the other three more sure of her security at least.

      Lol, it's definitely easy for it to get swept aside with everything else, so I'm not exactly surprised. There's a lot going on in either canon or the fic series after all. And yeah, it's definitely a Calanthe thing to tackle it foe sure. I mean, if nothing else, this is the same woman who was already looking into how to handle an ancient blood plague curse spell at 15 rather than just "leaving it to the adults" and all that deapire the fact healing isn't really her forte. ...Then came up with a revolutionary healing/curse breaking method when she was looking into another old curse that was killing one of her soulmates that dealt with both, lol.

      Lol, it's all fine. With how ridged the magic of this universe is, while undoubtedly they will eventually learn how to use their powers more diversely, between that as well as needing information and talent with raw MA energy manipulation, it's really not actually a problem. Calanthe is just fretting over a non-issue of something that she's one of the handful actually capable of doing it, lol.

      Not exactly? Like, she's not exactly front line fighter, but she also doesn't forsake them or something. Usually more in the back being a Mage given her current condition, but doesn't really hesitate to get up close and personal if she sees a reason for it. Actually see that next chapter, lol.
