Thank you!!! I find it amusing that Jataeyi's mortal mother hovers so much less than her father. Distance notwithstanding, a healthy mortal parent can comprehend that their child is going to do their own thing at some point and make their own mistakes. An immortal Garuda doesnt have that context and is winded with the awareness that his time with her is limited by mortality.
I'm still working out exactly what brought her here, but I do know she and I would have different answers about it. She likes to believe she's fulfilling the task entrusted to her at her monastery to protect the integrity of the planes, but in truth there's something to be said about even the vast mountains feeling like not enough flying room or breathing room for that deep celestial hunger in her.
