Comment on It's a Game, Isn't It?

  1. you have it done it once again.

before I could even reply to your last message, I had accidentally clicked on your profile just to see Rhaenyra’s POV. The cry I let out due to my overwhelming excitement must have startled the strangers I walked past, but I digress.

words aren’t enough to explain how enraptured I’ve become due to this story. and finally seeing Rhaenyra’s perspective felt like seeing a flower bloom in a cemetery. I love how the root of all her fear is abandonment, especially the thought of Alicent leaving her like she did when they were children - just to see it come true? how could you do this to me 💔 but regardless, I loved seeing Rhaenyra’s internal state struggling against the weight of being in love with Alicent vs fearing her eventual absence.

And oh! The Daemon / Rhaenyra dynamic is one I usually condemn with vehemence but the way you wrote it here? *chefs kiss* of course Daemon “reset” Rhaenyra’s settings as a child which in turn has caused her to develop this particular relationship with Alicent. you ate up that plot point so well - I can’t even begin to explain how satisfying it was seeing it all come together.

well! I want to say thank you for updating this series so quickly and thank you for writing it in the first place. whatever comes next in this series, I’m more than excited to read and geek out from it. I’m hoping we definitely see more of our favs from you … something tells me the story ain’t done just yet 🤭 either way ! thank you again friend
