    I really liked some of the stories that involved strangling in your Doctor Who one-shots collection, especially the one where you had a Clara echo and Sarah Jane getting mutually strangled by the Fourth Doctor's scarf, the one where you had the Mara strangling Tegan after Kinda in the dream-void, and the one set during The Witch's Familiar where the Dalek kept strangling Clara because it got off on her suffering. To see some more of that here (and especially involving tentacles!!) was wonderful!!

    All the more so considering just how many characters have been strangled by tentacles in the last two seasons (I recall Nancy, Steve, Robin, and El last season and then Max and Hopper this season, at least), so it's really not implausible given the source material

      You learn quickly when writing this sort of stuff that everyone has a kink. So sometimes I trip I slip in certain kinks to make specific people happy.

      (For the record, strangulation is not one of mine. But it’s less uncomfortable than some other kinks I try to avoid like a plague.)
