Comment on Tutorial: Skins

  1. FYI, this doesn't seem to be working properly:

"Font, with comma-separated fallbacks: This will set the font used for all body text (e.g. works, summaries, etc but not titles or headings)."

While it does change the bodies and tags, summaries and notes seem to remain in the default AO3 font.

ETA: It doesn't appear to change the font of comments or numbered/bullet-point lists, either.

    1. Hi!

Thanks for the heads-up. I've passed your message along to one of the front-end coders so they can look into what's going on there.

      Hi!

Summaries, comments, notes, and other user-inputted text are coded as blockquotes, so you'll need to set the font for blockquote to change them. We'll look into updating those directions.

I think I need more information to help you with the lists, though. What pages are you seeing them on?

This one. :-) I only mentioned it because as I was scrolling up I noticed a difference between the main text on this page and the various lists.

Hm. We don't explicitly set a font for lists like that, so I'm not sure why it isn't just inheriting the font set in body. I do see a few places where our HTML for this post has some problems, which could cause some list items on this page to display differently, but probably wouldn't affect all the lists. You could try setting the font for .userstuff li or .userstuff ol, .userstuff ul.
