   As I slowly work my way through the longer ones from RBB, I'm really struck by how much this gets so much that the movie didn't explore. I mean, there's the slow and rather moralless guidelines that Charles extends to himself after so much time without other minds, the development of Charles and Erik's relationship and just how much things could have been different had Russian gone this way.

   The end is better, I must admit--two strong men with strong ideals crafting a school for mutants from all the world.
