    ngl i like bert and gerard better than frank and gerard. frank and gerard were like meant to be in the original, but in the rewrite their relationship just seems kinda off if that makes any sense? i kinda hope gerard and bert stay together but thats probs not gonna happen which is fine

    i love this story so much and have been reading for like 2 years. cant wait for the next update <3

      I agree, I like Gerard and Bert more too. They're not trying to be something their not. Frank was trying to be a therapist/authority figure/partner all in one. Bert is just Bert. He's not apologizing for it either but is willing to own up to his mistakes. I love that about him. He understands Gerard is messed up and isn't pressuring him to change immediately. (Though the added obliviousness to Gerard's background will probably have to titter with that at some point) Point being: I feel like Gerard and Bert fit together--not that Frank and him can't. But it's hard trying to fit a triangle piece into a square slot. It can be done; but it isn't easy.
