There’s also scroll summoning~ it seems kinda clunky since u’d have to take out a scroll everytime (kakashi does it so pretty and extra thooo), but at least there’s 2 ways to summon.
(Danzo yikes. Then again, danzo’s kinda the reason why kakashi got to have sai and tenzo. tenzo being tenzo without the mokuton is a pretty interesting concept tho. Maybe like a natural affinity to wood~)
Hi! Here to answer your question about the loyalty thing. Prepare for a bit of speculation/headcanon!
Dogs are pack animals. They're loyal to their summoners and would, like most other summons, VERY MUCH dislike having to share. That being said, dogs—not wolves, because the wolves have refused to answer the Hatake clan for decades—will compromise. They want their summoner to be happy, and if having another contract is really what the summoner needs, who are the dogs to say no? They'll be there to look out for their summoner either way.
Snakes are possessive. Snakes do not share their summoners. Snakes are there, and they know what's best, and they'll kill their summoner before they share themselves. Never let it be said, though, that the snakes do not love their owners—it's that love that pushes them so far. It's that love that gives snake summons reputations for summoning themselves when their summoner needs it. If you've got the snakes, you're one lucky fucker.
Also, yes, Kakashi does the scroll thing and it's pretty and it's extra and GOD I LOVE THIS MAN.
Danzo is something that will definitely be addressed. Of course, LKK won't be able to kill Danzo, for . . . obvious reasons.
