    I don't know. In my personal experience, an excess of the long rambling tags tend to be highly useful to me in that they help me weed out fics that I would probably want to avoid. And if there's just a handful, I don't really mind them. As with anything, it's a question of where do you draw the line, and that's trickier than anyone could say, and probably really subjective, because nobody's line is going to be in the same place.
