This was such a beautiful character study. I really felt that you captured the Will we see in the show. A lot of people portray him as fragile, and he is, but mostly he's cranky and antisocial and misunderstood. One thing that I loved about this story was the sense of place and movement. I tend to kind of lose track of where the characters are, but here, I felt like I could actually see them moving around Hannibal's office. Truly excellent.
I just started reading Red Dragon for the first time, and it's given me an extra appreciation for Will's cranky side (especially since in the book he can really swear! ha ha). I'm glad it came through. Thank you for commenting <3
