Not speaking as chair here, since I haven't gotten clearance, but I don't think it's spelling so much as when an exclusively RPF fic is placed in the fictional fandom, which has become common in a number of fandoms. In any case, any changes per the ToS are strictly handled by Abuse - not even Support.
