    Link purpose: accessibility for web writers.

    "Warn users, within the link, when links will open documents (PDF, Word and so on)"

    I recommend the entire site for anyone who posts or edits content for OTW sites. This isn't about pretty design, this is about usable and accessible content.

    Also, the underlined edits in the linked files are very hard for some people to read and assuming all users can open a .doc file is tacky as well as bad practice.
