    Is there a way to buy this book, support OTW and NOT use Amazon? Or even buy the book not through Amazon? (I can always donate separately.) ... and is available in the UK.

      The Amazon link is the only one that works for the OTW promotion, but there are some other buying options listed on the publisher's website here: http://www.smartpopbooks.com/book/fic

      As the book won't be released until December 3 there may be other options coming. Our Development & Membership Committee is checking on that.
