    I'm really happy to know that you enjoyed this fic. Coddled Kookie is my bread and butter and I will love that trope to my dying breath.

    As you've seen, however, constructive criticism is not something that should be given without consent, especially as bluntly as you put it. I understand that it was not your intention to hurt me with your words but as you may have been able to tell, my friends are a little protective of me and my writing as these sorts of comments have hurt me in the past.

    I understand that you may appreciate constructive criticism in your own writing but I think a good rule of thumb to follow is that one should never give constructive criticism unless it is specifically asked for in fear that your negative statements will outweigh the positive ones. Particularly, it's important to note that I don't write my fics for money or popularity. I genuinely just want to have fun and share something that I love and find joy in doing and the last thing I want is for that drive to get sucked out by a well-meaning, but misplaced, comment.

    It's also important to be mindful of the fact that, like most people on this platform, this isn't my job. I wrote this fic in a day and a half on my time off from my full-time job. I wasn't looking for perfection in my writing and I have people who will beta-read and give me the constructive feedback that I need.

    I appreciate that you apologized for your words. That's something that not many people will do so thank you for that and I am truly happy to know that you enjoyed this story.

    Please don't feel like you have to be a stranger if you ever want to comment on a fic in the future (though I also completely understand if you choose not to). There's no hard feeling here. Take care of yourself. 💜💜
