This story is so sad but I can’t wait until these four find comfort in each other’s arms. This is going to be a tough ride, but war isn’t pretty and leaves people broken, so this all makes sense.
I just want to give all of them a hug, especially Pansy. I do wonder how she will deal with falling in love and trusting boys to touch her after her ordeal.
I really liked the hint towards Hermione feeling attracted to Fleur, it sounds like one of the themes in this fic is going to be exploration of sexuality (Hermione being attracted to women, the boys towards each other, and Pansy towards the boys since it seems like she’s only been with women before), so that seems like a fun part of the journey.
Exploration of sexuality and identity is totally one of the themes of the fic. Theo is the only one really confident in his identity as a bisexual at this point in the story (although if their story were set in 2022 I stead of 1998, he would certainly identify as Pan).
You get a sense of how Pansy copes with boys and her feelings very soon if you keep reading the 4 more chapters that are out.
